The scene opens up at a Tea-Shop outside of Manhattan, New York, where we see Syn, dressed in his usual get-up, holding a large mug of tea in his hands. Syn moved his hood slightly to where his mouth was visible, before closing his eyes and taking a sip. As he was drinking, he heard the chair in front of him pull out, signaling that his "Guest" had arrived. Syn, his eyes, still closed, stopped sipping and spoke.
Syn: Ah, I was beginning to wonder if you were going to show up. To be honest, I expected you to not show up, due to the "History" that I have with several of your little....friends.

Damon Warrens walks into a Tea-Shop outside of Manhattan. He had received an invitation for tea from someone rather interesting. Damon is wearing a purple vest with black dress pants, a black short sleeve dress shirt, purple Converse, black fingerless gloves, and a black top hat. He sees the person whom invited him, Syn, sitting at a table near the back of the shop. Damon walks over and pulls the chair opposite of Synout and sits down.
Damon Warrens: Well it would be rather rude of me not to come, now wouldn't it? I must admit I was shocked to receive an invitation, because of the history as you mentioned. But more so I was intrigued as to why Syn wanted to have tea with me of all people.
Damon looks down at a mug of tea, presumably waiting for him to drink it. Damon waves over one of the shop workers and asks her to bring him a large steeped tea.
Damon Warrens: No offense meant, but I was raised not to take things from people stranger than myself.

Syn rose an eyebrow in amusement at Damon's mistrust in the tea he had bought for him. Shaking his head slightly in amusement, Syn spoke.
Syn: No offense take, I assure you. But between you and me, if I wanted to, uh, "Get Rid" of you, I wouldn't wast valuble time and effort trying to poison you...well, not yet, at least.
Syn nods to himself, before taking another sip of tea.
Syn: As to why I invited you here, well, lets just say that I'm a curious mind.

Damon smirks as his tea arrives. He takes a drink before setting the mug down.
Damon: Well I would hope that someone of my status would at least deserve a death much more exciting and dramatic than a poisoning. I must say poison is the easy way out, not creative enough.
Damon pauses to take another sip.
Damon: And what would Syn be curious about? You know, they say curiosity killed the cat, I personally think it's fair to blame curiosity though, it's in its nature to kill.

Syn shrugged lightly at Damon's question.
Syn: I'm a naturally curious person, I'm afraid. While I know plenty about you through archives and tapes of your greatest battles in your time as a professional wrestler, I feel as though I'm missing something. I would ask those who know you best what that "something" is, but they don't particularly like me for some reason. So if I couldn't ask them, why not ask you instead?

Damon is slightly puzzled and delighted at Syn's interest in his career.
Damon: You've been looking at my matches? I'm honoured by this interest I must say. But why would you be interested in my career as a professional wrestler?
Damon pauses to think of what the possible missing ingredient could be that Syn does not see.
Damon: Off the top of my head I really do not know what could be missing. It may be my passion for the business. It may be strategic mind. It could be my outside the box methods in regards to mental warfare. Who knows? You are the only person who knows what's missing, as you are the only one who can see what isn't missing.

Syn's lips quirk into a small smirk as he takes another sip of tea.
Syn: My interest in you is a bit beyond professional wrestling, my friend. You interest me on a variety of spectrum's, but it seems as though I see you at your best inside of a ring, hence my studying of your matches. While I don't know what it is I'm missing from my information on you, the search in itself will be more than rewarding for me, I'm sure.
Syn's eyes then opened up fully, looking right at Damon, his smirk still firmly in place.
Syn: Although I do have to wonder, why it is you accepted my invitation, other than your politeness. I was under the assumption that associating with me would be ill advised if what I've heard from "Certain People" has any truth to it. Could it be that you have some curiosity about little old me as well?

Damon raises his eyerows in intrigue.
Damon: Well I must say, I am at my best when I'm causing idiots pain. I do agree that the search is often quite rewarding.
Damon sips his tea and nods.
Damon: Yes, yes, it is true there are certain friends of mine who may be quite displeased at this meeting, but at this moment that doesn't bother me. You're correct there is an ulterior motive for me agreeing to come, other than pure politeness. I am interested in how you're mind works.
Damon leans forward on the table with his hands together.
Damon: See I made a realization as of late. There are many in this company who claim they are crazy, extreme, psycho, fearless, so on and so forth. These people include Draven, Nightrain, and Reaper. But the problem is, it seems to me at least they while they may be extreme, possibly fearless, and to an extent crazy, they really lack a certain.. je ne sais quoi. I can't relate to their sort of insanity. It's primitive. However I find that I can relate to your brand of chaos and psychosis, because it's much more.... intellectual. I find that like with myself, there's a method to your madness. There is always a level of intelligence in your insanity. And this similarity greatly interests me.

Syn nods in agreement with Damon's statement, and takes another sip of tea.
Syn: It's a pity, really, to see men act under the label of "Insanity", when the truth of the matter is that they are merely slaves to their own urges and vices. There's no intelligence, no real thought behind their actions other than to satiate some nonsensical whim that was thought of in the spur of the moment

Damon claps quietly, completely agreeing with Syn.
Damon: And that my friend, is why I'm glad there's at least someone else in the federation who balances order and chaos like I do. I really do feel bad for the poor neanderthals. They try so hard to act insane, but they will never live up to their hype. You and I are cut from a different cloth though it seems.

Damon grabs his mug and takes a few sips of tea.
Damon: So I must ask. How are you finding PCW? I mean I can't imagine it to be too different from other companies, but it does have its...unique traits. And what are your goals within our lovely company anyways?
Damon sits back and thinks to himself.

Syn: Well, PCW has it's own flair, there is no disputing that. But I like to think that I have adapted well, despite the high level of competition.
Syn gave a hollow smile, devoid of any emotion what so ever, before answering.
Syn: As for my goals, first and foremost, go through with my obligations to those under me. I took them under my wing, it's only fair that I put their goals alongside mine, is it not?

Damon: Yes, PCW is very..unique to say the least. You seem to be doing well in the tag title tournament. So I would agree that you have adapted well.
Damon looks at Syn with a little disbelif at his last statement.
Syn: Now my friend I may not know you well, but let's be honest here, they're goals are secondary to your own. I don't blame you, I'm the same. My husband and friends are currently engaged in a war with Toxic, and it seems possibly your people if you choose to get involved. Even though they are important to me, their goals in PCW are not as important to me as my own are. If they we as important I would be involved in the war as well. But I have more important things to do. It's okay to be a little selfish in this business.
Damon pauses to take a drink, and cracks his knuckles before leaning back a bit in the chair.
Damon: For instance, I am here right now. My friends and family will not be pleased with me for this. However I felt it was in my best interest to accept your invitation.

Syn shrugs slightly at the statement, partially agreeing with Damon's statement.
Syn: True, very true, their goals are secondary to mine. But at the same time, they have all pledged their allegiance to me, and me alone. I'm not going to say that I care about things "Loyalty", because, truth be told, most of these little "Groups" that I aligned myself with usually are betrayed, abandoned, and left by the wayside to fade into a cold oblivion as I continue onward. But these are people I've trained, I've molded, and in the cases of my two youngest Disciples, Jin and Alisyn, partially raised. Call it the foolish sentimental ramblings of a brilliantly divided mind, but that's just the way I have become wired since I took this flock of misfits, marauders, and wanderers and turned them into My Disciples.

Damon nods at Syn's explanation.
Damon: I understand the sentimental aspect. Nathan and I are still training our son. It's sentimental to us. Not to mention I have my own wrestling school, and I have mentored many young aspiring wrestlers. Some I have considered family, like Brooklyn Punkari from my PWW stable The Wicked. So I completely understand what you mean. While your own goals are the most important, you still value them and their, because you have a sentimental attachment to them.
Damon pauses to take another sip.
Damon: Now there is something that has plagued my mind a tad. Where is your mind in regards to Toxic wanting to associate much more closely with you and your Disciples.

Syn froze slightly at the last question, before slowly picking back up his tea mug and staring into it in a contemplative manner
Syn: At the moment, I'm weighing my options in regards to the offer. While my relationship with Toxic is one of my more long standing affiliations, I won't simply accept the offer without consideration of it's ramifications on the careers of myself and my Disciples. It would be foolish to do so.

Damon notices that he has caught Syn off guard slightly. He needed to start to get his foot in the door.
Damon: I think you definitely need to think hard about this. Allying yourself with Toxic could close doors to possible beneficial alliances with others, because let's be honest Toxic is one of the most hated groups in PCW history.

Syn paused, then gives Damon a blank look.
Syn: Most of the things that could be said about toxic in PCW are more than likely said about myself everywhere else as well, but I agree that I need to think on this more.
Syn then gives Damon a curious look
Syn: As for other alliances, I was unaware that it was an option for me. With my history of betraying nearly everyone I've ever "Allied" with, as well as the fact that I have made enemies out of nearly everyone around me, I had written that option off.

Damon: Well yes, many things could be said about you as well. However I feel like Toxic is a lot more hostile than yourself.
Damon nods his head towards Syn.
Damon: Well don't count out all the options. Sometimes people can put aside problems in order to achieve greatness.

Syn nodded absentmindedly in thought as he took a sip of his tea.
Syn: Perhaps you have a point, Damon. I'm not entirely sure of your assertion that Toxic is more vicious than myself, but you may have a point.
Syn paused, then looked over at Damon.
Syn: And as for those potential alliances, I have to wonder why they would consider little ole' me. I'm not the most trustworthy individual on the roster. Intelligent, perhaps, but not trustworthy.

Damon: Of course I have a point. There's at least a little more class, and dare I say respect it seems in your brand of viciousness, wheras with Toxic it's merciless and bitchy!
Damon pauses for another quick sip.
Damon: Well they may consider you for several reasons. They may not be the most trustworthy either, so they might not really care too much about trusting you completely. They may see your level of in-ring talent as beneficial to them. They also may look at your intelligence and strategic mind and want it on their side. Who knows.
And as for those potential alliances, I have to wonder why they would consider little ole' me. I'm not the most trustworthy individual on the roster. Intelligent, perhaps, but not trustworthy.

Syn nodded slightly in agreement. While he was decidedly indecisive in his future with Toxic, he was willing to admit that Damon made a lot of sense.
Syn: Again, you raise a valid point, my friend. It seems that I have more to think about than I originally thought.

Damon: So my friend, is there anything running through your mind? I believe it's your turn to steer the conversation where you wish.

Syn: Actually, I was going to ask how family life was going for you? I hear that your son aspires to become a wrestler, correct?

Damon hesitates, he does not know if he should talk about his family, but decides to do so.
Damon: Yes I have already started training my son Christian. He sometimes comes with my to my school, the Badd Dreams Wrestling Academy, but sometimes Nathan, Aaron, Talia, or I will train him a bit in the ring Nathan and I have in our backyard. He hopes to join PCW once we say he is ready.
Do you have any family other than Kai?

Syn's eyes widened in shock, and a brief flash of intense rage passed through them as he accidentally crushes the tea mug in his hand, spilling the contents all over the table in front of him. Ignoring the attention that his actions had garnered, as well as his bleeding hand, Syn fixed Damon with a very hollow, very bitter smile.
Syn: No, no I don't. Kai is the only family I'll ever have.

Damon is shocked by the anger shown by Syn.

So let us leave this topic behind then?

Syn's smile changes to a more friendly one as he agrees with Damon.
Syn: Agreed. I'm sorry about the reaction, but...
Syn's smile fades as a look of bitterness comes across his face.
Syn:...There are some memories that I'd rather be left dead and buried, if all possible.

Damon shakes his head, there was no need to be sorry.
Damon: Hey, no need to apologize. It's a touchy subject, there's obviously a reason you are that upset by family, so I am not offended by the anger.
So what would you prefer to chat about. I figure you would know what wouldn't anger or upset you better than I.
