I advise all of you to read this as it is important. This is the new and refurbished set of rules for PCW as well as for the forum and chatbox. Nobody and I mean NOBODY is above the rules. So don't go acting like you're above and beyond the policies I set here. If you break the rules... you will be punished. Simple as that. Let's get into this shit, shall we...
Rules for PCW as a fed:
1.) Originality - We here at PCW are about originality. Which means that you cannot join PCW as Edge, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler or John Cena. Your character must be unique. Understandably, you may choose to use a real life wrestler as an inspiration in the creation of your own original wrestler. But if you are mimicking their promos and stealing their mannerisms and catch phrases, then youβre going to be on the losing end of most of your matches and probably will find yourself cut from the roster eventually or be shipped off to the jobber division.
2.) Characters - Used to, I put a limit onto how many is allowed per handler. Now? I'm going to allow as many as you damn well please and I'm going to allow you the consumer to decide whether or not you can handle more than one character. Basically common sense is required when it comes to the amount of characters you can have and handle in a PCW environment at one time.
3.) Time off - Time off will granted if requested through an OOC message or an e-mail or IM sent to any staff member explaining that you need time off. Depending on the length of time requested, title shots, championships or contender-ships maybe lost so that another deserving roster member may have a chance to compete.
4.) RP Limits - As an active member of PCW, you are expected to write at least one (1) roleplay per match that you are booked in. For tag team matches, it is a Two (2) RP limit (meaning that if one person handles a tag team, it's two RP's for them and if two handlers consist of a tag team, then it's one a piece for them). Now if a person in a singles match wants a two RP limit, contact his or her opponent and then all parties relay the message back to me. PCW is looking for Quality role-plays. We understand that everyone has a life.
5.) If you can't RP that week - If you have a specific reason why you cannot role-play for a specific week due to work or something personal, you can shoot me a PM. At the end of the day, the saying will always be Real-life > E-Feds.
6.) For role-plays your RP's MUST be a minimum of 300 words. While we are strictly quality over quantity, you have to give us something to work from and let's be honest, 300 words isn't much to ask. There is no maximum word limit. Knock yourself out. If your RP is less than 300 words, it will be disqualified and you may be asked to do it again.
7.) No-showing - We here at PCW do not tolerate no-showing. If you no-show once without saying a word, that's fine and dandy, but if you do it two times in a row without a single reason why... your contract WILL be terminated. No excuses and no exceptions. If you're involved in a major storyline in PCW and no-show two times in a row without a proper explanation... your PCW contract will still be terminated. Repeat Offenses after the first firing will result in demotion to PCW Jobber Division for a indefinite amount of time (anywhere from one week to forever)
8.) Double no-showing - This is kind of similar to the previous rule but if both competitors of a match no show... then their match will not be written unless otherwise. This is so our match-writers do not waste their precious time writing a match where nobody shows. Any questions as to why you don't see your match on there and you and the opponent didn't show up... PM me and/or a staff member and we'll explain.
9.) Sand Bagging - There is only one (1) RP allowed to be posted per person on the last 24 hours before deadline is called. That way there is no chance for potential sandbagging situations. If your opponent has not posted all week and you have done one or two before deadline day, then you will not have to worry if he/she "deadline bombs" as he/she can produce only one. So do not wait for your opponent to rp, just go ahead and start.
10.) The usage of another handler's character - Be sure to ask permission for using other Handlers Characters and supporting characters as a way to avoid any of the handlers of said characters to complain about it. If you do not ask permission and use these Characters you will be disciplined. You may use any of our Backstage Announcers at free will (which I will be listing very shortly).
11.) Roleplaying Styles - We here in Premium Championship Wrestling are fans of all different Styles of role-plays. Shoot Style (trash Talk) Storyline, and any other style of role-playing you can come up with.
12.) Judging - Your Role-plays are your ticket here in PCW. Everyone has different criteria as far as judging, but the most common rule of Judging is the flow of a role-play, (can we imagine what is taken place) so I ask that you people put an effort into your role-plays.
13.) Result Outcome - Any problems with the outcome of a match should be brought to the Staff's attention through a personal Message. Not on the forums. We will explain how we came to our decision.
14.) Applying to PCW - Also, DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT 100% SURE THAT YOU CAN PUT UP WITH THE PCW SCHEDULE! Nobody here is hurrying you. Just read all the rules, take knowledge of them and then you can decide for yourself whether it is worth joining or not. We here at PCW would rather you not apply, than put out an application and no-show afterwards.
15.) If you cannot post RP due to Forum issue - This one is important. If forum issues prevent you from posting an RP and you not only have it completed, but you don't want to miss the deadline... email me the role-play to my email address mr_pimpin187@hotmail.com and I'll post it on your behalf.
16.) Post an actual application - If you want to be in PCW, you HAVE to post an application in the application section. You WILL NOT be booked on any PCW card without an application up. If you don't have one up, I'm going to assume you're not in the fed. So if you want in, post an app. It's easy and simple really.
17.) DO NOT post a reply in other people's role-play threads - This one is a huge rule. If a person has made a feedback thread, that's fine. But only the handler can post and reply in his or her thread. I mean, we have feedback threads for a reason. The consequences of this rule will be determined by myself and PCW staff.
18.) Only one character has dibs on a nickname - This has been brought to my attention but say if a character has a nickname, another handler cannot have the same nickname for his or her characters. Examples; King of Hardcore and Da Xtreme Gangsta are James Baker's nicknames and only he can have them, or "True Greatness" and "Greatness Personified" are for Michael Morrison. If a person with those names was here first, nobody else can have those names. If by chance somebody does, I will ask you personally to change the nickname or just remove it from the list. Same goes with finishing moves. If somebody who is already here has a certain name as their finishing move, then that name is for them and them only. Matter of fact, those two options will be added into the reserve list shortly.
19.) You can only change your theme song every six months if applicable - We have had two cases of theme songs being changed multiple times in a setting and we're going to limit that here. Once every six months, if you feel the need for a change, go right on ahead but only in the time frame I stated.
20.) Changing your pic base - This is in relation of the theme song rule, but you can only change pic bases every three months. Like with the theme song rule, we don't want to have to endure the changes of one's pic base every other month or so. And I think three months is a decent enough time frame.
Championship Rules:
1.) Double champions - This time around, we will not allow a character to hold two PCW sanctioned championships at once. If you in fact do, then the lower one must be vacated immediately.
2.) Title holders must be the ones to set an example. If you are a title holder here and you no-show once without a legitimate reason, you will be stripped of your title. NO EXCEPTIONS!
3.) All titles must be defended at least once every two months unless otherwise noted. Failure to do so may result in the vacating of the title.
4.) The TSO Rule - Notice that this is the rule named after former PCW star Max Taylor. If you are to leave after winning a number one contenders match for a shot at any title. The runner up on the judging scale is the one that will take your place in the match (and if they can't, they'll get a future title shot at that title). We do not tolerate those who win a shot and then up and leave when that title match is taking place that particular round.
Forum/Chat part of the deal:
1.) No drama - I shouldn't have to preach this but sometimes shit gets out of hand. Show respect to everybody, no matter if you don't care about the person or not. We do have an open Door Policy if you have a problem with a member we asked to be informed about it, we also ask that you settle your problems outside of the forums and chatbox. DO NOT make a scene about it on there. First time you don't abide by the rules, you will be banned from the chat for a six hour period. Do it again... and you will be banned from here for good. No if's, and's or but's about it.
2.) Conflicts - This is sort of like rule one, but it's kind of different at the same time. DO NOT bring unwanted outside crap to the forum/chatbox and fed. It makes all of us look bad. Keep that shit to yourself and don't go trolling these people either.
3.) Respect people and don't be arrogant - Don't act like your shit don't stink, don't act like an arrogant asshole and don't act like your above anybody because in reality, everybody is on the same level playing field and don't disrespect anybody who is a part of the community because that's not cool.
4.) Advertising - This is a big one even though I'm really the only one who advertises this place. But if any of our members want to take the initiative of advertising... DO NOT advertise on active feds, dead feds or other forums that are not RoughKut, Efedknights and any other e-fedding communities (I have all those covered but still). We don't want a bad reputation of being a place that does underhanded tactics. We're not like that, and I don't plan for us to be like that either.
5.) Offending guests/Giving PCW a bad name - This kind of goes hand in hand with the other rules, but this is an important one. Guests are potential members of PCW and we want to make them feel at home as much as possible. Don't piss off the guests or any affiliate of ours because you would be giving PCW a bad name and we don't want that at all. It's not tolerated and I'm going to be a bit more strict about this one because again, it's not tolerated, but we have affiliates and members of those affiliated feds who quite frankly could join us so make them feel at home and there will be no problems. If not, you will suffer the consequences.
6.) Only I can determine who is a moderator on the chatbox. Of course, there does have to be a certain criteria to be a mod here but since I am the owner of the chatbox we use... all decisions have to go through me before it takes place.
7.) Please us common sense on what you do and do not do around here. I really don't want to have to be the damn rule Nazi here so just be cool and don't cause problems and everything will be fine. If not, consequences will be dealt with. And DO NOT disrespect mods and admins on both the chatbox and the forum. What they say is final. No ifs, ans or buts about it.
8.) Most important rule - Everybody knows the most important rule around here is to simply have fun. We like to joke around and have fun around the place. What we say 95% of the time is not serious so if you get offended... what we do is not serious, but for the most part - just kick back, have fun and feel at home. Anybody is welcome here.
Thank you for taking the time to read the rules and regulations for Premium Championship Wrestling...
Have fun!
