OOC: Its a bit late, and I had to play doctor and heavily edit/remove a fair bit of the material, but by gawd, its here!
---------------------------------------------- (Jane Isis’ office) --------------------------------------------
Jane Isis sat in her desk, glaring a hole in the individual who was seated across from her and resisting the strong urge to dismantle him. In all the years that she had been in this business, she had never met someone who took so much pleasure in antagonizing nearly everyone that he came across. It had started with a meeting, in order to iron out the details of his manger’s contract, yet throughout the entire meeting he had managed to annoy her at every turn by veering off subject slightly. Even with comments that WERE about his contract, he still found a way to get under her skin. She sighed, and then looked back up at Syn, who had an amused expression on his face as he waited for her to continue speaking.
Jane: Syn, you are seriously trying my patience. I’ve tried to work with you, despite the fact that you’re trying to do everything in your power to piss me off –
Syn decides to cut Jane off
Syn: Not really everything in my power, per say, but go on.
Jane growls at Syn, who just continues to smile at her in a very unpleasant way. Now he was just doing it to gain a reaction out of her. Its one of the many small games that he has been playing this entire meeting
Jane: Don't interrupt me again.
Syn gives a mock pout in response.
Syn: I was just saying that I'm not really trying to get under your skin. No need to become so angry with me.
Syn stopped pouting and smirked at Jane, who just sighs in fustration.
Jane: Just sign the contract.
Syn chuckled darkly, before slowly pulling the contract over towards him, reading it over. He had inquired around a week ago about the possibilities of him signing a contract with PWW that would allow him to manage his young protégé, Alisyn, and possibly the other members of Toxic as well. While he was indeed having a bit of fun trying to rattle Jane, he knew that this was serious business. Syn finished reading the contract, then picked up a pin and signed it, making it official. He places the contract back onto the table and slides it slowly over to Jane.
Syn: Everything is in order: I’ve read it over, I’ve listened to your conditions, and I’ve signed, all while having a bit of fun. So (Syn clasps his hands together in grim excitement) When can I make my debut as a manager of a Premium Women’s Wrestling competitor?
Jane gives Syn a look. While he may have signed the contract, she still knew better than to give him this on the spot.
Jane: I’ll contact you when you are able. But know this Syn (Syn raises an eyebrow), I know about what happened on the first episode of Libertarian Wrestling, and I know that you have some kind of revenge planned on Talia and Danielle. With that in mind, I’m telling you now: If you lay one hand on ANY member of The Black Rose Mafia during or near a PWW Event, you’re contract will be voided and you WILL be fired on the spot! Do I make myself clear?
Syn clicks his teeth with his tongue, before sitting there in silence for a moment, thinking over his answer. It had crossed his mind to inact some for of vengence upon ALL members of The Black Rose Mafia (It wouldn't have been fair to just stop at Talia and Danielle) in a PWW function, but it wouldn't have been enough in him mind. He wanted to "return" their little gift to them in the most "colorfull" way imaginable, and that couldn't be done on a PWW platform (Not legally at least). Finally, he looked back up at Jane and spoke, a very dark smile on his face.
Syn: I know that you’ve done your, uh, research when it comes to little ole’ me, but somewhere down the line, I think you maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay have gotten your information crossed with someone else. (Jane raises and eyebrow at Syn’s remark) Because while I may have revenge on the mind, I never let my emotions compromise me with these things. It’s just bad for business. (Syn leans back in his seat at bit) With that being said, I won’t harm any member or The BRM while we are in a PWW Function. (Syn’s smile turns sinister) They have enough problems with Toxic to deal with here without me getting overly involved in the matter.
Syn stood up and walked towards the door, but was stopped by Jane.
Jane: That may be true Syn, but forgive me if I don't trust you right off the bat, seeing as how you've made your name off of decieving the people around you.
Syn had his back turned to Jane, so she couldn't see his face. He slowly turns around, and gives her a wicked smile.
Syn: If my career so far has show one fact, it would be that you, or anyone for that matter, would be a fool to trust me period Jane.
Syn gives Jane a mock bow, before leaving her office. As he was walking down the hallway, his smile of confidence had turned into a frown. While he was pleased that he had gotten the contract, he felt disappointment that this was the ONLY bit of good fortune that he had had in the last couple of weeks. In addition to what transpired at Liberty, he had found out that WKF was closing down only 5 months into its run. The two events were causing people to question if Syn had lost a step somewhere along the line. Syn growled, slightly at the thought.
Syn: It seems as though people have forgotten just how dangerous I am. The Wrestling Kings Federation may be dying, but its dying with me ingrained in every major waking moment of its short history. (Syn gives off a sinister smile) I've done more than enough to make sure of that.
Syn continued walking , giving a brief smile to a few members of the tech crew as he turned down a hallway. He stopped, however, when he saw someone walking out of a locker room not to far down. It was Alexis Landry. Normally, Syn wouldn't have given a second look and conntinued on his way, but with his pronise to "Return" his black rose, he had a stray thought: What better way to get into the mind of Talia Skye than to get into the mind of her cute little protege. Syn watched in curiosity as she walked away form the locker room area and in the direction of the parking lot. Syn stood there for a few seconds, before smiling darkly.
Syn: Hmm. It seems as though I now have a new game to play.
Syn decides to follow after her, very careful to keep himself at a distance just incase she became aware of it. He followed her all the way to the parking lot, then crouched down behind a car as he continued to watch her. She goes over to a car and gets in, before she starts it, pulls out of her parking spot, and drives away.
Syn: Ah, and the chase begins.
Syn walks out from behind the car and looks around, before walking over to his mustang. He opened the drivers door, then started the car, before pulling off and driving after Alexis. He came to a stoplight not to long after exiting the parking lot, and looked around for a moment. It wasn't long before he spotted the familair looking car that Alexis was in about 2 cars up, causing him to smirk. He waited until the light turned green, and continued to follow after her, still keeping away at a comfortable distance. He keeps following her fr a few more miles, before she finally came to a stop at a very fancy looking restraunt. Syn rose a brow as he watched her exit her car and meet with someone. He cranes his head slightly to get a view of the person, and gives a very evil smile as he recognizes her. It was Talia Skye.
Syn: So it seems that Little Lexi led me to a group gathering. And what kind of person would I be if I didn't (Syn Pauses) Take advantage of this in some way?
Syn watches intently as the two talk for a moment, then entered the restraunt. He sat there in his car cor a moment, before he started to think.
Syn: Hmm. What to do, what to do? I've followed the protege all the way to the meeing point, and now I have nothing to do. (Syn holds up one hand in contemplation) Do I chance interrupting their little get together, have it potentially go bad, and risk being fired after only mere hours of my contract being signed? (Syn holds up his other hand) Or do I take an, uh, alternative approach to this?
Syn contemplated the two for a moment, before giving slight shrug.
Syn: Alternative approach. Now, the question is what. To. Do.?
Syn suddenly got an idea. He reached into his pocket and pulled out one of many folded pieces of blank paper that he kept in his hoodie pocket, along with a pen. Syn usually keeps these on hand to help relieve the stress his insomnia brings on, but this was a bit more improtant at the moment. He unfolded the paper and wrote only one phrase on it: "Be Prepared doll, because I play for keeps." Syn smiled as he folded the paper, before exiting his car and walking over to the entrance, where a parking valet was in the process of going to park Alexis' car. Syn stoped for a moment, then put on a faux nervous appearence as he walked over to the valet.
Syn: Um, excuse me. (The Valet looks up) Did two blonde women come here?
The valet nods slowly, and Syn upped the nervousness just a bit as he continued.
Syn: Well, its just, I'm new official for Premium Women's Wrestling. I literally just got this job like a few hours ago, and Jane asked me to deliver something to them that they left at the arena. (Syn goes into a panic) I mean, I have a job to do, but I don't want to catch them on their time off -
Syn starts babbling incohearently, startling the valet. He could understand the guy's problem, but it caught him off guard with him being so upset about it.
Valet: Woah man! Look, calm down, okay? I'll help you out.
Syn managed to calm himself down (It wasn't very hard, considering that he's just acting), and gave a small smile to the valet.
Syn: Thanks man. I just need you to place this notice in her car where she can find it. If she finds it when you return her car, just tell her that The Joker dropped by and delivered it. She'll get the joke.
The Valet smiles and accepts the note from Syn, before getting in Alexis' car and going to park it. As he watches the valet pull away Syn smirks, his small plan now complete.
Syn: And with that very convincing performance, my messege is delivered. Now all that is left to do...is wait. (Syn pauses and contemplates) Hmm. My career path has a funny way of unravling itself: I make things personal with Ryan... I beat Ryan...I make things personal with Nick, and takes everything that he holds dear away from him...I make things personal with Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaarles...and I beat Charles. (Syn gives a sinister smile at all of this) Lets see just how this chapter goes as I up the ante. Bit. By. Bit.
Syn giggles slightly, then cackles as he walks back over to his Mustang and gets in. He starts the car, and speeds back off in the direction of the arena. He has one more idea that he would like to carry out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The camera staticed in and out for a moment, before finally clearing up as it showed what looked like a room, but it had been comepletly destroyed. There were smears of green paint all over the once red and gold walls, the thrones had all been dismantled and destroyed, and there where what looked like gouge marks from a small knife all over the room. Suddenly, the camera turned to one lone throne in the room, showing someone sitting in it. It was Syn, who was eeriely calm as he stared off into the distance for a moment, seemingly not aware of the detruction around him. Slowly, he turns towards the camera and gives a dark smile.
Syn: Ah, it seems as though I have given the legendary "Throne Room" a nice little makeover. (Syn brings his legs up and sits cross legged in the chair as he stares into the camera.) Talia, darling, I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally hope that you and the rest of your group appreciate it, as well as my little notice that Alexis has hopefully found. I'm a very sensitive artist, and this is my first attempt at a canvas this large. (Syn brings his hands up and rests them on the arms of the throne) But although I have given you a "Gift", so to speak, I can't take all the credit for this. I'm just the, uh, artistical hand who brought this magnificent vision of destruction to life. Isn't that right...Alisyn?
The camera slowly shifted and shows Alisyn leaning against an untouched part of the wall, giving a sickeningly sweet smile as she nods her head. She slowly pushes herself off and saunters over to Syn, before sitting down in his lap. Syn gives a dark smile as he begins lightly stroking her hair.
Alisyn: Yes. We really hope that you like it Talia. (Alisyn cranes her head slightly, leaning it on Syn's shoulder as she gave a sinister smile) I went through all the trouble of thinking of the "Perfect" gift to thank you for the oppertunity to face you in my debut on Knockout.
Syn chuckles as he continues to stroke Alisyn's hair, causing her to sigh in content.
Syn: While showing off our little make-over of the Throne Room is (Syn pauses) entertaining, I think that its time that I steer everyone's attention towards the apptly named Liberty event, "Rioting Within", where I and four other ment will be competing in the first ever Supreme Liberty Match. A match where there are no disqualifications, no countouts, and eliminating your opposition is a must.(Syn rolls his neck slightly, popping it a few times, before sighing) To be quite honest, I don't look forward to the event as much as people would like to think.
Alisyn gave Syn a confused look as he continued stroking her hair.
Alisyn: Why would that be? You have the opportunity to gain another chance of becoming the Freedom Champion.
Syn: Alisyn, my dear, it isn't that that lessens my excitement. You see, I've become slowly aware of the fact that my, uh, opponents as of late have all come from the exact three molds of personality: (Syn pulls his hand away from Alisyn's hair for a moment and begins listing off his opponents personalities) The psychopath whom has a taste for mentally disarming his foes, the muscle-bound powerhouse with very little intellegence to fall back on, and the redeemer who hopes to gain forgiveness and acceptance from the masses. (syn shakes his head in amusement) Once you've incountered an individual who's mindest is a certain way, you tend to notice it veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery quickly, but I digress.
Syn: Now, onto my first opponent, Mihalis Maximus. (Syn pauses, then thinks about something) Hmm, now why does he seem familar to me?
Alisyn shakes her head with a smile.
Alisyn: I believe that his girlfriend was introduced to Kai's Crossface on the first episode of Liberty.
Syn: (Chuckles darkly) Ah, yeeeeeeeeeeees. Miss Jill Cruz. Well, aside from his size, a stint as a marine and poor taste in people whom he has relationships with, it seems as though "The Greek Warrior" has nothing to him that really captures my attention. Just a young man whom decided to step into this profession at the behest of his little girlfriend. Unfortunatly for you, Maxy, you have the very poor luck of making your professional debut against me.(Syn smiles sadistically) I promise you that it won't be a Very. Pleasent. Experience.
Syn's smile never leaves his face as he shifts in the seat of the throne slightly.
Syn: And on to one of my other opponents, "True Greatness" Michael Morrison. Someone who is looking for a chance at redepmtion and hopes change himself for the better in the eyes of the people. (Syn shifts slightly, allowing Alisyn to lean onto his shoulder, before giving a taunting smirk) It would be inspiring if it weren't so pathetic. I give you all the credit in the world for, uh, at least attempting to change your ways, but in the end, its too late for redemption. (Syn's smirk turns preditory) too very VERY late.
Syn: And finally, we come to Nightrain. A man who, like myself, has a bit of a flair for putting his opponents through a pshychologial hell with the most diablical mindgames imaginable. I've heard much about you Nightrain. All that you have done, all that you have accomplished and every championship that you have won in your career, but I'm a bit dissapointed to say that I have never witnessed one of YOUR mindgames. (Syn leans forward slightly) What is it that you take into account when you play these games, hmm? How many scenarios play out in your mind, over and over, back and forth, to assure that you have left no stone unturned in planning them out? (Syn leans back again, a somewhat distant look in his eyes) When I face an opponent, I take everything that makes them tick, such as their fears, their strengths, their morals, and I use them to my advantage. I leave them wallowing in their own dispare, wondering what they can do? How can they possibly combat someone who doesn't have any weakness that can be easily exploited. They continue to fall deeper and deeper into my little game, until eventually-
Syn leaned forward, his bright green eyes seemingly blazing as he stares menecingly into the camera.
Syn:-They lose themselves to me in the process. At Rioting Within, I'm going into a match that plays into a match where a Sinner's mind is a dangerous weapon and violence is at its purest, most untained form. I've made my career so far by adding name after name to the list of careers I've collected, and I plan on adding 3 more at Liberty.
Syn: Welcome to the Age of Armageddon gentlemen: There will BE no survivors.
The camera fades to black as Syn gives a blank, soul piercing stare into the camera.
