PCW, eh?
What an interesting little fed this looks to be!
And by "interesting", of course, I mean relatively bland and unexciting, not nearly worth the amount of effort I shall put into it.
But interesting nonetheless!
Before we get too ahead of ourselves, though, introductions are necessary. I'd hate for the peons of the world to be unable to name the most talented individual this fed has ever bared witness to.
I am, of course, the Original Sinner himself, Mr. Three Steps Ahead, Joey Vice! Remember that name, ladies and gentlemen, for it is one you will be repeating for years to come, aha! I hail from the lovely, white-sand beaches of Miami, Florida, a luxurious locale most of you will never be able to enjoy to the fullest, what with your check-to-check lifestyles.
Alas, though, it is not my money and lavish lifestyle I am here to flaunt, oh no! As much as I enjoy doing so, that simply isn't what I'm here for. It's a rather threadbare route that's been gone by many a fool before me, and I shan't be - how do the kids say it - lame and unoriginal.
No, it's not how I live that I will hold over you.
It's how I wrestle.
In this rough and tumble world, too many cookie-cutter characters come and go without offering a single lasting thing to the wrestling world. They show up, do their jobs to the fullest of their minimal abilities, take their paychecks, and go home. And for some, that's all they aspire to! That's all they want! And for the mediocre, that's some fine ambition! But I am not mediocre. Not in the slightest. And I am not here to merely collect a paycheck.
I am here to make a difference.
I am here to change the wrestling world as you know it.
But how does one do that? One would have to leave a lasting impression on his environment in order to change anything. And in the wrestling world, that's not exactly an easy feat. So many different men and women engage in the sport of kings around the world, and even the best find it difficult to truly leave a permanent, everlasting mark on said sport.
But I, I know the way.
Oh, yes indeed. I know the way to do it.
You see, ladies and gents, wrestling has become very...predictable. Very much so. Even the best professional wrestlers, with the most education in the art, end up with movesets that limit their abilities. Storylines play themselves out in the exact same way. Each characters becomes less unique than the last. And, ultimately, in-match spots become standard. How many times have you seen someone immediately run towards the ropes after a shoulderblock, leap over the downed opponent, and then duck under a leapfrog, huh? How many? The answer: You don't know, because counting it would mean having to figure out how many matches every wrestling show has ever had, because it happens in every last match. Ludicrous!
How many wrestlers stop using their vast knowledge of wrestling and simply stick to four or five moves to get them through any match, hmm? I can name at least five in one particularly notable federation. That's simply depressing!
And even worse: how many times do wrestlers set up certain attacks, and the foes they face never realize what's about to happen? Goodness gracious, it's embarrassing! After four matches, even a toddler could tell you what certain wrestlers would do! They fall into patterns they refuse to break, because the idiots they face don't give them any reason to break them! If every opponent Wrestler A faces takes two shoulder blocks, gets up and swings with a punch that misses, and gets dropped on their back following that, why oh why would no one catch that and not do it when they face Wrestler A?
It's enough to make me pull out my hair! And then follow it up with a costly procedure to get it all back, ehehe.
You see, while others, like the wrestlers in this fed, may be okay with that, Joey Vice is not. No sir. And I am here to change that. You predictable, boring ragamuffins that wrestle here are about to be hit with a tour de force. Because I? I am not like every standard wrestler cut out of the same bland mold. Oh, no! Joey Vice is worlds apart from everyone else. I am always Three Steps Ahead of the competition and the curve. You will never know what I am about to do. Ever. And yet, I will know exactly what you plan on throwing at me, and how to counter it.
That turnbuckle handstand dodge? I see it coming and know how to turn it into my own offensive moves. That finisher you love? I know how you like to lead up to it, and what to do to break up the chain. Trust me, if you think for one second you have any type of advantage over me, think again! I am the smartest, most common-sense wrestler you have ever seen! I know your weaknesses, you habits, your styles, and I will crumple them up into a ball and throw them back at you!
And that's how I will leave my mark. Because once I am done, once I rise to the top, everyone who ever wants to wrestle will look at what I have left behind, and learn from it. After I attain all my success, I will become the standard-bearer for the future generations! I will completely bring down today's wrestling standard, and replace it with my own!
And there is nothing anyone can do to stop it.
Because I am always Three Steps Ahead.
