(OOC: This was going to go in my RP...but I ran out of time. Think of this as a bonus )
-------------------------------------
Casey Tanner and Stevie Miller arrive at the Fire and Ice Academy, dragging a now semi-conscious Liam Reilly along with them. They walk inside and are met by one of the owners of the academy, former WKF talent Justin Fire. Justin greets them with a smile, which quickly fades when he sees Liam's present state.
Justin Fire: "What the hell happened to him? Is he ok? Did he get hit by a car or something?"
Casey sits Liam down on a nearby chair, while Stevie sheepishly responds.
Stevie Miller: "Um...not as such. His dad went bankrupt last week and he hasn't taken it too well...as I'm sure you can see".
Justin frowns in Liam's direction, before turning back to Stevie with an inquisitive look.
Justin: "Are you trying to tell me that he's drunk?"
Stevie: "Yyyeah. Look, we can't apologise enough. If we keep him sat down in the corner, out of the way, he shouldn't cause any trouble. Hell, the kids won't even know he's here. But we'd really appreciate it if you didn't tell our boss".
Justin weighs up the situation, before nodding.
Justin: "Fine, but if he steps out of line...
Stevie: "Be my guest and kick his ass".
Justin nods again and then holds out his hand.
Justin: "I almost forgot to introduce myself. Justin Fire".
Stevie gratefully shakes Justin's hand.
Stevie: "I'm Stevie, that sorry sack of crap is Liam and the poor schmuck taking care of him is Casey".
Casey turns around at the sound of his name and gives Justin a quick wave.
Justin: "Pleased to meet you. If you'd like to follow me into the training room, the kids are waiting for you. You guys ok to run the session?"
Stevie smiles at Justin and gives him a tilted nod.
Stevie: "It's what we're here for".
Justin: "In that case, follow me".
Justin heads off down a corridor towards a set of double doors. Stevie follows behind and Casey lifts Liam onto his feet and directs him after the others, muttering to himself.
Casey Tanner: "Don't worry Stevie, leave the little guy to carry the alcoholic meathead, that'll work out great".
The four men walk through the double doors into the training room, furnished with weights, basic fitness equipment, and two wrestling rings. The students of the academy are already waiting, as is an athletic looking man, who approaches the newcomers.
Daniel Fire: "You must be our guests. My name's Daniel, pleased to meet you".
He stretches out a hand to greet Casey and Stevie, who both shake it. When he gets to Liam, however, he is met with a peering gaze, rather than a handshake. Daniel turns to Casey.
Daniel: "What's wrong with him?"
Casey leans in and answers quietly.
Casey: "He's wasted".
Daniel looks visibly shocked at this revelation and turns to Justin, who discreetly motions to him to calm down, mouthing similar instructions to him silently. Daniel nods and simply turns away from Liam to speak to the assembled academy students. As Daniel speaks, Liam is led away to a plastic chair, positioned away from the group.
Daniel: “Well guys, as you know, today we have some special guest tutors who are here to teach you a few new things. Please give a warm F&I Academy welcome to Premium Championship Wrestling’s very own Casey Tanner and Stevie Miller!”
The students applaud and a few of them whoop and cheer, as Stevie notices a few “24 Hour Party People” t-shirts amongst them. He quietly whispers to Casey, his words masked by the applause.
Stevie:“When the hell did we get t-shirts? I don’t remember giving permission for that?”
Casey:“I think we have more pressing issues at hand right now...if that drunken idiot gets a chance he’ll probably set one of these kids on fire. Let’s worry about that for now”.
The students finish applauding and Daniel continues to speak. As he does so, Casey and Stevie look at their friend, who is sat with his head drooping to one side. His eyes are open and he appears to now be fully awake, but still too inebriated to perform any basic motor functions. Satisfied that Liam is no threat to the session, Casey and Stevie turn their attention back to the students. Daniel gives a brief outline of what Casey and Stevie will be teaching the students before letting them take the session. The smaller students practice springboard techniques with Casey, while Stevie teaches the larger students some basic power moves. 30 minutes pass, in which time Liam has become more aware of his surroundings and has even managed to sit up properly. He peers around looking for a familiar face and spots Stevie, who is currently teaching one of the more muscular students how to hit a powerbomb safely. Liam gets up from his chair and walks up to Stevie and taps him on the shoulder with some urgency.
Liam Reilly: “Stevie, we’ve got a problem. We should’ve been at this academy thing like an hour ago. We need to go, now!”
Stevie turns round to his friend and gives him a perplexed frown.
Stevie: “Liam, we’re there right now. I’m in the middle of teaching how to hit powerbombs safely”.
Liam snorts with laughter.
Liam: “They’re letting YOU teach that? All these kids will probably go and paralyse each other now. HAHA, who let your incompetent ass teach anything? Oh that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day”.
Now Stevie begins to look angry, but before he can respond, one of the students pipes up.
Student: “Don’t speak to Mr. Miller like that. Who are you anyway, some retarded hobo or something? That’s sure what you look like anyway!”
Liam puts on a mockingly questioning tone of voice to reply.
Liam: “Really? Is that what I look like? Because you look like the incestuous offspring of a goat and a mule. Fucking little punk kids think they can mouth off to me. Don’t even have the decency to know who I am. Where’s their sense of respect? Guess it just needs beating into them”.
Liam advances, looking ready to strike the student, but stumbles over and lands face down on the floor, still too drunk. The student he was trying to hit laughs loudly, attracting the attention of everyone else present. As he continues to laugh, Liam takes advantage and grabs the student’s leg, dropping him with a tackle. Liam places his knee on the student’s chest and prepares to punch him with a closed fist, when out of nowhere Daniel delivers a roundhouse kick to the back of Liam’s head, knocking him straight out. Everyone stands in dazed silence for a few seconds, before Daniel turns to address Stevie.
Daniel: “You get this sorry sack of crap out of my academy right now, and I’ll just press charges against him and I’ll give you and Tanner commendations for your attitude. But if he’s not out of this building in 30 seconds, I’m calling the police and the three of you are going down. Do I make myself clear?”
Stevie can only manage a nod before hauling Liam up onto his knees and dragging him across the floor. Casey rushes over to help his tag team partner, though not before briefly turning to Daniel.
Casey: “I am so sorry. I thought he’d be out of it for longer”.
Daniel doesn’t look at Casey and simply stares at the exit.
Daniel: “I’m sorry too. Now get out of here while I’m still feeling generous”.
Casey obliges and helps drag Liam out of the door. As the door closes, the students hear Stevie yell out one final utterance.
Stevie: “FUCK!”
