NOTE: I know it's pretty short, but I just wanted to introduce the world of PCW to Chris Dash.
In an exclusive interview on SquaredCircleMayhem.net, the newly-signed PCW superstar and the current APW (Apex Pro Wrestling) World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Dash, talks about his wrestling career thus far, where he sees himself in the future and which one of PCW's belts he sees himself going for!
=========================
SCM: First off, we wanna say thanks for joining us!
CHRIS DASH: Anytime, fellow disciples! Any chance to spread the gospel of ponies is a good one!
SCM: Also, man, congrats on having a kid on the way -- Pretty big step for you.
CHRIS DASH: *nods* Again, thanks.
SCM: Now, one of the biggest questions our viewers out there have been wanting to ask: Of all the places in the world, of all companies, why Premium Championship Wrestling? What made you decide to sign a contract with PCW?
CHRIS DASH: Well, man, it's like I just said, 'twas a chance to spread the gospel. For you see, young one, I've spent the better part of the year now over at Apex Pro Wrestling, preaching and sharing the will of the Church Of Faust. For those oh-so far outta the loop, that my friends is my beloved collective of fans of My Little Pony! And, no no NO, I do NOT mean that kiddie crap that festered during the eighties and nineties, oh no! I mean the good one! Friendship Is Magic!
SCM: Speaking of which, Chris, there's been division among the fans as of late as far as your fandom goes. On one hand, the bronies on the site applaud you for being so open about it; On the other hand, though, people have since labeled you as some "looney, spot-monkey fag"-thingy because of it.
CHRIS DASH: Well, those are what I call Neigh-Sayers for you, sir. It is such a cryin' shame, it is, for half of those Neigh-Sayer haven't even seen the show!
SCM: And the other?
CHRIS DASH: *smiles* Sinning to pictures of moi on the internet.
SCM: *laughs*
CHRIS DASH: Naw, in all honesty, there are those that wanna try to tear me and my good Church down, Neigh-Sayers or not. Just like the show, we of the Church are here to promote the powers-slash-benefits of Friendship and Harmony!
SCM: How would you say your "mission" and whatnot's been working out for you thus far? Anything you'd do differently?
CHRIS DASH: As far as win-loss ratios go, we could always do worse. However, dispute some infighting, we are a very strong, tight-knitted group. We are some of the most talented and dominating people in APW today, and I seek to continue that tradition in PCW.
SCM: Seeing as you're no stranger to high-profile wins and Championships, despite that you're still pretty young yourself at the age of 22, what do you think the future as in store for Chris Dash?
CHRIS DASH: Obviously, I'm going to PCW with the intention of being there for a long while. Goodwill tours courtesy of the Church aside, the one other thing that I'm always OCD'ing over is wanting to create a legacy. One that shall transcend me long after I kick the metaphorical bucket. I mean, I'm only 22 years of age, and I've already rounded up one HELL of a resume; The last CGS World and Legends Champion; The winner of CGS's last Bloodshed Cup; The first-ever CAW Pure Champion and now currently the APW World Heavyweight Champion. I'm doing pretty well thus far, if I do say so myself.
SCW: And speaking of that, you've got a HUGE match with the APW Title on the line, don't you?
CHRIS DASH: King Of The Cage...*smiles*..yeah, man. I'm gonna put the "pwn" in "pony" as far as that one goes.
SCW: So, as said before, you've got some pretty big notches under your belt. Any goals you have in mind of PCW? Might we see you gunning for the PCW World Title?
CHRIS DASH: That would be pretty awesome to do, but first I'd like to establish myself -- get myself in gear. But if I must make a guesstimation, I could see myself going after the Platmium Title if fate's on my side. It's as my old teacher Derek Levy would tell moi: "New fed, clean slate." Him and Hanz Kikazi, for real, are two of the smartest wrestlers I've ever known. Them and Steve Storme are treasure troves of info. I really learned a lot from them.
SCM: Word has it that Derek and Hanz are looking to revamp their school's wrestling program sometime in July.
CHRIS DASH: Yeah, "Tigerheart Wrestling", they're calling it. Good for them, good to see such promising kids -- Many of which I actually helped train -- get a chance to show the fans that they're worthy of their time.
SCM: Could we see you in Tigerheart Wrestling soon?
CHRIS DASH: To be honest with you, I don't think it would be on a regular basis, what with jumping between APW and PCW. Maybe, maybe not, you know?
SCM: Either way, it would be could to see you in the ring with Derek and Hanz; that would be a terrific match....Well, thank you again for joining us! Good luck in your match at King Of The Cage!
CHRIS DASH: Thank you, good sir! Looking forward to chatting it up with you in the future!
