That depends. When making a character, you have to think of how your character portrays. That includes background and gimmick. of course, height and weight comes into play in base pic choosing too (cant pic Daniel bryan to be the BP of a 500 pounder). Then when you pic a base pic, you choose the one who would look the part of your character. For my Brownlee persona, Brian Kendrick fitted because Brownlee was wild and unpredictable, both in and out of the ring and Kendrick is one those fellas who can be unpredictable and could play the part of a random unpredictable ass in my head. Leon started out as a loner and long hair Jericho fitted at the time when I just started. Now I outgrew him and Edge felt more like it.
Finally, its personal preference. If you like the wrestler in terms of RL work, looks, and everything, let him be your BP. Sometimes, wrestlers dont cut it and you look into a wider range. When Momo made a character, she went to Utada Hikaru mainly due to her lack of Japanese Puroresu, but if I showed her some clips, it wont change. I think Hikaru-chan fits Momo and I cant see her changing BPs

True, but what about Nightrain (who weighs well over 300 pounds) having Slash as a pic base? Reaper weighs 285 pounds, and has Sting as a pic base. LOL!

Sting looks like he can be a big man, so Reaper is fine. Nightrain...maybe. What Im saying is someone with Big Show cant be a cruiserweight.

Okay so new discussion topic:
Should one character be able to hold more than one championship at once?
Should one handler be able to hold more than one championship at once? (Excluding the cases in which one person handles both halves of the Tag Champs)

Only one singles and tag team title. It happens, but it means that there's more RP work for them.
I think one handler can hold more than one championship if it's with a different character. But this means he's gotta put more into both of them.

Should a handler be allowed to have more than one title? Sure, but I hope they can fully focus on both characters if that's in a RP based fed.
Should a character hold more than one title? It's okay if the titles are from diffirent companies. As for having two titles in the same company? Not in RCW. Anywhere else? Meh. Not going to talk because Fatality Inc holds both sets of tag team titles in JPW, and two of my characters are in Fatality Inc, but diffirent members defend the titles (due to the Fatality Inc rule), so I guess that makes it okay. That's just my opinion, but yeah. I would never let one character hold two RCW titles. Mostly because I don't plan on giving RCW more than four championships.

Should 1 Person hold every belt at once? No. Not unless you want to put some sort of storyline in it. Should 1 handler hold every titles? Depends. If you are a angled fed, it al depends on storylines. If its a RP Fed, go for it...gives the handler the challenge of putting of multiple RPs.

Should one character hold more than one title in a fed - No. I think, to retain a degree of realism, it makes limited sense to have one character being a dual champion in one company. If you think of the dual champions in WWF/E - Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, D'Lo Brown and Jeff Jarrett (to name a few) - how many of them ever pulled double duty with their titles? HBK turned the European title into a joke, by laying down for HHH, and Jarrett did the same by giving the European title to Mark Henry. Kurt Angle was only joint champion for a month and D'Lo for less time than that. The problem is that, by having a wrestler win two titles, they either relegate the importance of the more junior belt, or don't defend the senior belt very often and make it something of a waste. In terms of E-Fedding, even having one character/team having titles in linked feds is quite redundant. My example would be the Princesses of Lethality being PW and PCW tag champions, simultaneously (I'm sure I'm correct in saying they were). When PW is PCW's feeder company, why would a team that is good enough to win the parent companies tag titles even be competing in the feeder company in the first place, never mind the tag champions there, too. Obviously, with PCW closing its doors, the issue no longer exists. But I think things like that should be avoided too, because it just doesn't make any logical sense.
As for one handler holding more than one title, I think if a handler is good enough then why not. However, I think it is best to limit it to 1 tag title and 1 singles title per handler. Otherwise, if you get a top quality handler winning several singles titles (say if Tom was WHC with Syn and Plat. Champ with Kai), the danger is there for stagnation. Whereas with a tag team, there's two halves to that team (especially if it's a two-handler team) and so challengers have a better chance of winning (see: The Pac/Jay Thunder & Kai's title rivalry).

I think to qualify to be able to hold more then one title you gotta show that you can put out more then one rp a week that are equal in how good they are. Cause i've seen guys who held two titles and they do one big rp for one but put out garbage for the other title.

New Topic!!!!
Should feds have a limit on characters? If so should the limit be on characters overall, or only a limit on characters per handler?

I think feds should have a reasonable limit. Preferably four at most because when you give a handler too much freedom to insert as many characters as they want - it becomes too cluttered (I'm kind of guilty of this). As for limit of characters overall (or size of the roster)? Depends on the style of fed and how the matches are written. If it's an RP style fed, about 20 to 30 characters. Of course, it depends on how many people you have helping you out with the staff stuff, and as proven with PCW, it still can be a challenge.

In a standard thread, I would say 3-4, depending on the thread. 1 Singles and 1 Tag Team. A 4th singles character can be included if a fed has a separate womens division, so you can have 1 male, 1 female, and 1 Tag Team.
In a BTB Fed, there should be no limit with a few exceptions. Take our BTBs for example. It seems Ryan and James have a vast majority of CAWs there. others have a few characters like Ray, Nathan, and myself, but James and Ryan have a soo many CAWs it isnt even funny. If we got a few more CAWs from other people, then maybe some of the unused CAWs from those who have 20+ should be released unless you wanna run a 5-6 hour show like RCW and PW and have 20+ matches.

I think thete dhould be a limit even in a angled fed i agree with tyler but i think a 6 limit is good enough it gives you multiple angles that can be used. Da has 6 people and at the end of pcw i had simething going that rhe 6th person added. Even with certain people having a majority of the caws it still in some line end out showing favoritism toward them not arguing just making a pointblank statement

It all depends on what the overall plan is and how many titles you plan on having (for angled feds). With roleplay feds, I'd say PCW had it right from what I saw. Not an abundant amount of people but the right amount necessary to not clutter it and keep things competitive. I do say it should be about four to five characters per handler, but that would be my rule for an RP fed. Angled wise, you don't necessary have one, but the head of the boat should recognize (without anybody angrily going at them) when enough is enough on adding characters constantly.

Okay new topic: Stables!
This topic has several discussion points.
What are the best and worst e-fed stables you've seen? What makes a stable good? What ruins a stable? How should a stable be used in an e-fed? Are there any stables that could have been good, but fell flat? How many members should be in stables? How many stables should there be in a fed? Should all stables break up eventually? Why?

I think it might sound partal but i rhink dna was decent but started going stale at the end and stables for how many it would depend on the fed its self pcw had a few but they was well balanced. And yes nathan it they all should break up at some point.
What makes them last is the stories you tell if you can keep the angles fresh then they could go on

I feel old here. This is going to take some time in remembering but I think I can remember most. If I don't remember any by name, just chalk that up for me being a 32 year old woman who forgets things. What are the best and worst e-fed stables you've seen? Best: The original version of Da Xtreme Dynasty. Not the versions most of you guys have seen. I saw the first incarnation and it was damn impressive. Total heels and they were very violent and it made everybody in the fed step up. Worst: The Synnfull Devils. I was involved in this feud with my Ashley Rose character, and the characters just didn't really mesh. The only highlights were the heel turn of one Morgan Simmons, making the dynamic of that long running feud completely different, and the emergence of Christina Fierce as Morgan's sidekick. Could even say Nicole Allen was an emergence with how she's doing now. What makes a stable good? - The right characters for the group. Meshing well with each other and a solid working relationship both in and out of character. Also needs to be trust as well. What ruins a stable? - For me, it can be more attributed to bad attitude. I know of one years ago and I can't remember the name of the group for the life of me but the members started arguing with one another and started flame wars with each other. I'm one that the OOC aspect is more important to the group because everybody has to get along and be on the same page for it to work, and if you're not...then it goes to hell quickly. How should a stable be used in an e-fed? - It all varies on the level the members of the stable themselves are at and what their purposes are. It also depends on how good the handlers themselves are (you cannot and should not just put a greenhorn rookie at the top of the heap just like that). Are there any stables that could have been good, but fell flat? - There was this comedy team in ECCW back in 2005 that I thought had a lot of potential, but it never really got going for some reason. It also didn't help that things in that time were a little shaky at best, but I thought it still could have been decent. How many members should be in stables? - Preferably no more than five or six. Then it's overkill. How many stables should there be in a fed? - No more than two. I would be very strict on allowing more than that, and I would have my own way with how that goes. Should all stables break up eventually? Why? - That one is tricky for me. If it become stale, then yes. But if you still have ideas for the stable, go with it until you can no longer do it anymore.

Best stable: Either Team Lethality, The Elite or The Disciples Of Syn.
Worst stables: Top Notch Talent from WKF What makes a stable good? Handlers with good chemistry. That's what made Team Lethality work in my opinion.
How many members should be in stables? I don't know
How many stables should there be in a fed? Depends on how the stables are used for me.
Should all stables break up eventually? Why? Maybe they all shouldn't break up for good. They can compete as a atable in tag team matches, but I guess there is a time when stable members need to go their own way. Have their own individual feuds, ect.

What are the best and worst e-fed stables you've seen?
The best I'd say would be The Elite. They were the kinda guys you wanted to either team with, or face off with. They made their opponents look good, but themselves look better in the way a successful heel stable should.
Worst....well I'm going to be unpopular here, but I'm saying Team Lethality/Toxic/Fatality Inc. Why do I feel they are the worst? Well I feel they can be compared to the nWo. The original idea (BRM/Toxic) was phenomenal. But eventually the idea got oversaturated. Too many people were added and too much time is spent focusing on them, while people outside of the stable(s) get little to no exposure.
What makes a stable good? Talented members, dedicated handlers, interesting characters, cohesion, and the right amount of focus on the stable.
What ruins a stable? Too much focus on the stable, lack of cohesion, a lack of interest, too many members.
How should a stable be used in an e-fed? They should be used in a way that elevates the members in the stable, whilst also helping the opponents get a boost of sorts.
Are there any stables that could have been good, but fell flat?
The New Era. It could have been great, three/four top notch guys all working together against the establishment, re-writing rules and asserting absolute dominence. Where did it go wrong? Partly because too much focus was put on other stables. Otherwise the main pitfall was politics. I'll be honest. Had I not been suspended right after the New Era's formation, we could have done great things.
How many members should be in stables?
I'd say less than 8.
How many stables should there be in a fed?
Only a few, 2-3.
Should all stables break up eventually? Why?
I think it depends. Like Dee said, if you can keep it alive, keep it alive, but you need to know when to call it quits.

Should characters be wrestling for multiple companies? Sure why not?
Is it possible for a character to be in too many companies? I would say it really depends on how those companies book them.
Should there be a limit? Again, it depends on how that character is booked. If they are signed to like ten companies, and they're all weekly, and all ten companies book that character for every show....It's obviously not going to work out, so yeah. All depends.

In the interest of reviving the site a bit I'd like to revive the Roundtable Discussion.
With the reunion show coming up there are a couple "Moments of PCW" questions I'd like to bring to the table.
What was your favorite moment in PCW history? (This can be specific to your own characters, or to all of PCW).
What was your least favorite moment?
What moment was in your opinion the most controversial?
What would you say was the "Epic Fail" moment? (What moment was just so universally bad that it shouldn't have happened?)
What moment would you say defined PCW, made PCW what it is?
Was there any moment(s) you wish had happened, but didn't?

I gotta rack my brain for this.
What was your favorite moment in PCW history? (This can be specific to your own characters, or to all of PCW): for me it was the entire fued between me and smith jones. It was the top mid card feud.
What was your least favorite moment?: the last month of PCW was a bit of a cluster fuck so it wasn't as enjoyable
What moment was in your opinion the most controversial?: everyone would say Jose
What would you say was the "Epic Fail" moment? (What moment was just so universally bad that it shouldn't have happened?): I can't recall any like that
What moment would you say defined PCW, made PCW what it is?:
Was there any moment(s) you wish had happened, but didn't?: REAPER VS STRYKER!

Favourite PCW moment - Personally, winning the Platinum Title. Just proving to myself I was good enough was sweet as. Plus it repaid the faith that the old school PCWers had shown in me. Overall, when PCW came back after LW and ECCW had been tried as replacement feds. That was the start of the best era in PCW history. Also, I think the build up to and evolution of The New Era was pretty damn good too (I may be biased...).
Least favourite PCW moment - The entire affiliation with THW/The firing of Nathan's characters and the subsequent fall-out, both IC and OOC. That sucked. Allied to the fact that my promo got pulled from the show, when I left in the wake of the firing incident, and being replaced by a promo from the GM which basically said everything I'd said, though it tried to shit all over me and Nathan.
Most controversial PCW moment - Briefcase title shots.
"Epic Fail" Moment? - The decapitation of Radar/Characters getting raped. The former was beyond moronic and the latter was just offensive, unnecessary and in the poorest of taste. To a lesser extent, I think the stable war went on far too long and became the focus of the show, to the detriment of everything else, and is worthy of mention on that basis.
Defining Moment - The return of The Elite.
Moments that should've happened - Order and Chaos get a title shot. Damon Warrens vs Liam Reilly. Reilly vs Reaper. Michael Morrison coming back

What was your favorite moment in PCW history? (This can be specific to your own characters, or to all of PCW). Reaper's win over Curtis Wilkes. What was your least favorite moment? Probably Reaper getting fired. Mostly for OOC reasons. My lap top had to get that virus, I had to leave e fedding for the most part, and ever since that happened I just have not found the motivation to RP full time or the want to do it. I tried to join another fed after PCW died, but it didn't work out (I believe I was supposed to post my first RP for that company by now, but I no showed because I couldn't come up with anything). I just can't RP anymore. My lap top getting that virus, and me having to take time off pretty much kiled Role Playing for me. I'm not angry about it anymore, but I'm never going to have the desire to role play ever again. What moment was in your opinion the most controversial? I don't know. What would you say was the "Epic Fail" moment? (What moment was just so universally bad that it shouldn't have happened?) Probably something I did. Like having Reaper beat up that stage hand. No clue what the hell I was thinking. I think I did more stupid things than that. I pretend it never happened. What moment would you say defined PCW, made PCW what it is? I don't know. Was there any moment(s) you wish had happened, but didn't? Reaper vs Danielle, Reaper vs Liam (was going to happen at Struggle for Power I believe). Reaper vs Stryker, Reaper vs Damon, Reaper vs Brytain, Reaper vs Smith, Reaper vs Leon, Reaper vs Mariano, Reaper vs Nightrain, Reaper vs Morrison, Reaper vs Heather and a actual feud between Reaper and Syn. Reaper vs James Baker would have been awesome too. Note: I probably sound biased since all of my answers involve Reaper in some form, so I apologize for that.

With a new angled fed on its way to the forum let's talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly in regards to angled feds.
What do you like about angled feds (pros/positives)?
What do you hate/dislike about them (cons/negatives)?
What has been your favorite angled fed?
What is you least favorite angled fed?
What is the best storyline or feud one of your characters has been a part of in an angled fed (name several if you like)?
What is the worst storyline or feud your characters have been involved in (name several if you like)?

What do you like about angled feds (pros/positives)? You don't have to RP. What do you hate/dislike about them (cons/negatives)? Wow. I'm not sure if there is anything. I'll get back to this question if I can think of something. What has been your favorite angled fed? CCP and PWW. I'm also enjoying WWA, and I believe Rebirth Wrestling will turn out to be great. What is you least favorite angled fed? RCW (It had potential. A lot of potential, but I did a terrible job with it. LOL!) I also think JPW was pretty bad at one point. Thankfully I have help with it now. Also. Feel free to write segments for JPW if you want. What is the best storyline or feud one of your characters has been a part of in an angled fed (name several if you like)? I have enjoyed the Michael Blackfire vs management storyline in CCP. What is the worst storyline or feud your characters have been involved in (name several if you like)? I don't know really. I will say one storyline that probably shouldn't have happened was Reaper becoming Interim GM for WWA. Amy asked if I was okay with it. I agreed to it, and I admit I had fun with it, but I agree it shouldn't have happened, and I apologize for it, but yeah. I can't think of the worst storyline or feud any of my characters have been in. Mostly because I honestly can't remember most of the feuds and storylines they have been in when it comes to angled feds. Haha
