(OOC: I was going to post something much larger, but do all that has happened this week, I decided to do a short Promo detailing a small change in Syn.I saved the full one for this next round)
Syn: Perhaps you should take a walk, Jimmy. Your temper is starting to get to you.
Kai recognized the warning tone of voice Syn took, and mentally shook his head. Jimmy, when he was angry, seemed to not know when to quit while he was ahead. The two, to Kai’s surprise, had been going at it for the last 10 minutes. Jimmy was irate that Syn had not managed to help him get his job back, as well as Syn’s recent loss to Marina Valdivia. Syn had remained calm through the Tattoo Artist’s tirade, but Kai could tell it was only a matter of time that Jimmy said something that set his brother off. Jimmy’s temper got him into a lot more trouble than he was worth, in his opinion. He shook himself out of his musings as Jimmy finally snapped on Syn.
Jimmy: Maybe what everybody says is right. Maybe you HAVE lost a step!
Kai shook his head, and muttered the words “Bad Move” the second that the words left Jimmy’s mouth. And he was right. No sooner had Jimmy finished speaking, Syn had seemingly glided from his seat on the bench and was standing right in front of him, causing him to take a step back. Syn’s normally bright green eyes looked to have turned an almost gold color as the light reflected off of them as he stared intently into Jimmy’s eyes.
Syn: I’m sorry, I must have misheard you. Would you care to repeat that, Jimmy?
Jimmy shakily tried to say something, but no words came out. Kai watched the scene play out in front of him in a bit of amusement, as well as dread. While it was always amusing to see Gambino get torn into, no matter who it was, it was always a bit hard to watch as his Older Brother got angry. It was not a fate that he would wish upon anyone. Syn continued to stare at Jimmy as the smaller man tried to stammer out his answer.
Jimmy: [Terrified] No…no….
Syn’s hand slowly wrapped around the scruff of Jimmy Gambino’s shirt as he jerked the smaller man towards him; Jimmy yelped as Syn nearly lifted him off the ground as he forced Jimmy to look him in the eyes. And what Jimmy saw scared him far, far more than anything he had ever seen out of Syn. There was nothing there. No anger, no feeling. No single, solitary hint of emotion or reason that Jimmy could identify Syn with. It was spine numbing. It was as if this was a completely different individual who he was facing right now. Not the man who he had built a somewhat “Solid” business relationship with. Syn brought Jimmy closer, to where Syn was right next to his ear, as he spoke.
Syn: If I were you Jimmy, I would think long and hard about the next string of words that come out of your mouth. Otherwise, they may cost you MORE than just your employment.
Jimmy’s breath hitched in his throat at the thinly veiled threat, but it seemed that Syn had either not noticed or ignored it as he continued.
Syn: While I’ll admit I’ve more than laxed several views I have on people, make no mistake that I very much am still the same individual who ended no less than a half a dozen careers within his first MONTH as a wrestler. If there is any difference in me, any one at all, it is that I’ve grown a little more. That I have gained a bit more control, instead of needlessly thrashing about like a spoiled child, merely doing things just for the sake of grabbing attention, despite the foolish opionion of anyone who seems to have one reguarding me these days.
Syn hissed in anger as his grip tightened.
Syn: Although, with your actions, I am beginning to wonder if keeping you around is worth the amount of times I have stuck my neck out for you. With your penchant for causing trouble for the sake of making more enemies than necessary, and you letting Bull and Ape WALK OUT of my little group with The Tag Team Titles, I’m a hair away from dismissing you.
Jimmy’s eyes widen in horror at that, and Kai’s eyebrows rise in mild surprise. Apparently, this had been brewing within his brother's mind far longer than he thought.
Jimmy: Syn, no! Look, I’ll cut down on the BS, I swear! Just don’t fire me!
Syn stared stoically at Jimmy as the man groveled and pleaded with him, before he sneered in disgust and dropped him to the ground.
Syn: You have the next 11 months to prove yourself useful to me. If not, you’ll suffer my……displeasure. Understood?
Jimmy nods rapidly, but paused.
Jimmy: Wait….why 11 months?
Syn’s eyes flashed and he hissed at Jimmy.
Syn: Leave. NOW.
Jimmy got the message and quickly scurried out of Syn’s locker room as the screen faded to black.
