It is with a heavy heart that I have decided that it is in Premium Championship Wrestling’s best interest for me to step down as a staff member of the fed, effective today at 2 pm central time. I’ve really enjoyed helping this community run smoothly to the best of my ability. But one of the most important things for someone in a position to help lead is to know when you are not the best of the best to perform the job. I once heard someone state that “Strength is stepping aside and letting someone take your place so they can have their shining moment.” And I believe that my abdication from my position will allow someone else to step up and perform to a much higher standard than I could ever achieve.
PCW has a very strong staffing structure that will be able to carry on with my departure. James Baker has himself a loyal team of people who have PCW’s best interests at heart. His cousin brings very reasonable cases to the table as a very free thinker and one not afraid to disagree with the status quo. Mariano is a very professional person who always strives to do what he believes is the most fair and just thing to do. George is almost a combination of the two who has stuck by his opinion even when no one else has and has always had faith to stick to his guns. The creative team will be able to decide our results just as effectively without me as they did with me. And while I will miss taking part in the discussions on matches, I personally believe that my decision is, overall, for the best to help PCW succeed.
James Baker hired me to be the PCW conflict manager back when there was conflict afoot from an outside source and I was able to negotiate with them to bring peace and tranquility for our great fed. And while there have been successful stories between then and now, there have been moments where the responsibility I serve for everyone here was not to the standards that I personally believe should have been achieved for PCW. There are regrets on my heart over situations where the challenges of protecting PCW from any turbulence and pandemonium were not handled to the quality that I wanted. The liability for those incidents is mine. I had a duty and a responsibility and there were times were my actions were completely ineffective.
To help PCW, which was my motive for everything I did as a staff member and a leader, I will resign from my staff position and relinquish all my power. I have faith that my successor will be able to resolve the upheaval that occurred. PCW deserves a successful person to rely on in times of need. It takes a strong person to realize it is not them.
With best regards,
