It has been almost seven months since The Glamorous/Vicious Combination was last seen on PCW television. November 10th, 2012 was the date, Christina and Ivette won the match over Fatality Incorporated...by disqualification. They were dismantled badly by Toxic. Sure a group they have had problems with in Team Lethality, came to the rescue, but the damage was done and other than brief tweets from Christina on Twitter, nobody has heard from them in quite sometime...that was until they were interviewed. The transcript of the interview is below.
Interviewer: Here I am with Christina Pérez and Ivette Hernandez, the Glamorous/Vicious Combination. Girls, welcome.
Christina Pérez: Thank you for having us. It's a pleasure to be here.
Interviewer: The last time we saw you girls, you two were on the wrong end of a vicious attack by Toxic. What happened?
Christina Pérez: Yeah. I will admit it's not something I like to relive because Ivette and I were original members of that group, but Toxic being the ungrateful fucks they are, beat us down with us being at a disadvantage. We were beaten down like seven or two or some shit like that. It was insane. It still irks me that we were betrayed because we helped make Toxic the dominant group it is known as today. Without us, both the Heather Monroe and Morgan Simmons' first incarnation of the group wouldn't have been a success. Every group needs that duo who will kick a lot of butt without a hesitation. The Glamorous/Vicious Combination is that team who will whip anybody's ass while making no bones about it.
Ivette Hernandez: All the while looking glamorous. I see tag teams like Fatality Inc who just come off as a second rate version of us. Our last match on PCW television, we did beat them and looking fabulous while kicking ass...we made that popular in this company and I don't care who disputes that because it's the truth.
Interviewer: Have you guys watched PCW since your last appearance?
Christina Pérez: We have. We've been watching what has unfolded. There are some things we never expected would happen while on the otherhand, I'm not surprised at some things.
Interviewer: Examples?
Christina Pérez: I didn't expect Terrell Ryder to do what he did, I sure as hell didn't expect Danielle Lopez and her group to be as vicious as they are right now yet I understand why and I say it's about time Danielle stopped the goody two shoes act and become more vicious. On the expected side, I fully expected more teams coming in and be a cheap imitation of us. Look at a group like Mi Pi Sexy for example. Reyna Carter is the head bitch of the group, right?
Interviewer: I think so.
Christina Pérez: Whether she is or isn't, she has set the tone for that below average group being a huge imitation of what we are all about. She's a spoiled little princess who has never worked a day in her life and she claims to be vicious which I don't find anything vicious in hitting another person with a pink rubber stick. That thing wouldn't hurt a fly let alone a wrestler.
Ivette Hernandez: Or having a magic wand in hand. Trust me, they're not all what they hype themselves to be. I have seen Reyna disrespect the ones who paved the way for her and every other female to be in this company. While Christina and I have had our differences with Danielle and Talia in the past, we recognize that those two women helped propel women to huge highs in PCW. It's because of their contributions is why you see the female talent in PCW today do the stuff they do today.
Christina Pérez: And despite those same differences with Danielle and Talia, we have respect for what they have done and what they continue to do to this day.
Interviewer: Speaking of that subject. Do you think there will ever be a match up between you two and the team of Danielle and Talia, or will there be another match up against the Xtremely Lethal Ladies?
Christina Pérez: Good question. We always matched up well against the ladies and every time we faced each other, we put on a great match. We have that chemistry where we just click. On the otherhand, a match up against both Danielle and Talia would be great to have. When you compete against two very talented females like them...it raises your stock whether you win or lose.
Ivette Hernandez: Think of the memories we could create.
Interviewer: Let me ask this. Are you two still under PCW contract?
Christina Pérez: Yes. We're on a hiatus. We had some personal issues that interfered with what we were doing and we had to take time off. With Ki being injured and retiring, he's not going to be continuing on but whenever we're ready, we will be ready to come back to television and do our best.
Ivette Hernandez: Speaking of that. There is something we want and that's the PCW Tag Team Titles. We were close during the tournament last year to crown new champions, but we were in a bad situation. Now? Christina and I are focused, we have our stuff mostly behind us and we think we can compete for the gold.
Interviewer: What do you think about the current tag team champions?
Christina Pérez: I know they're not exactly fond of us, or at least I am under the assumption they're not, but I do respect their drive and determination. With who they are as people, it's commendable that they have overcome a lot in their lives and are living out their dream. They told all the bigots and haters to shove it and they proved them wrong with those titles.
Ivette Hernandez: I agree with Christina. Mariah and Rachel are talented. There's no question about it and I think a match up between us and them would be fun and phenomenal. But to us, they are an obstacle towards what we want and make no mistake about it, we have respect for them, but that doesn't mean we're going to play nice. If anything, we're going to hit harder and make them hurt even more than normal, and that's double true with them being the tag team champions. They're targets and the titles is the symbol for that. They're the hunted and if they don't know that already...they will find out from every other team in the division.
Interviewer: When do you guys plan on coming back exactly?
Christina Pérez: As I said, whenever we are ready. There is no timetable at all. But what we can tell you is it will be sooner than you think.
Ivette Hernandez: Could even be this Saturday or at Slamathon.
Christina Pérez: That is true. Could be at anytime and we want those tag team titles. That's our goal for when we come back to PCW. When that will be? Who knows, but Ivette and I will let all the PCW fans know that we will be back more determined than anything. We can promise that.
Interviewer: Well Christina and Ivette, it was good catching up with you girls and hopefully we see you back soon. I think a large portion of the fans are looking forward to it.
Christina Pérez: Again, it was a pleasure to be here and I love each and every fan who supports us. It's going to be interesting to say the least.
