TMZ caught up with Wrestling Personality Tyler Brownlee on what happened between him and ex-fellow RCW Commentator Liam Reilly. Although Brownlee acknowledges Reilly's departure and wishes him best of luck in his future endeavors, Brownlee denies any alleged threats of physical violence against him.
"What Reilly may or may not know is that this is a Sport Entertainment business," Brownlee commented. "In this business, any persons, whether on TV, at live shows, or both, are in character when performing. Any 'threats' I may have made were in character. Did I say them? Yes. Do I mean it? No. I like to have fun in my job because I love this business. I enjoy every second of every minute of every hour of every day. Do I sometimes go overboard? Yes. However, I can personally say that any sort of threats I have made to Mr. Reilly is nothing more than empty threats. If he wants to back out simply because I was in character, he can go ahead."
Jimmy Gambino, RCW General Manager and personal manager to several RCW Wrestlers, has not yet commented on this issue.
