I know this is by far not my best work and I totally expect to lose, but I wanted to at least post something. Wish I could have done more, but the past few months have been extremely stressful and have had to deal with a lot of very serious shit, so RPing has had to take a backseat. Congrats to either Heather or Dani. I'm just glad my last RP match is against two people who helped me a lot over the years.

Ever since I came to PCW years ago there has been something that has never changed: I’ve always been seen as the second choice compared to my ‘BFF’ Danielle Lopez. However with this reunion show I have a chance to prove I am the better competitor. It’s time to go a little old school Talia Skye, and she always gets what she wants.
The scene opens up in a radio station building where Talia Skye is about to be interviewed by a local sports radio host Chris Tyler. The young woman walks into the room where the host is finished the last segment before their interview. This is the first time Talia has spoken to the media in months, but finally the “Killa Queen” has decided to break her silence. She sits down across from Chris Tyler and is given a headset and microphone.
Chris Tyler: Alright I’m very excited to say today’s guest has arrived! She is a former PCW Brawl and Women’s Champion, PWW World Champion, JPW World Champion, the list goes one really. She is the “Killa Queen” Talia Skye! Welcome to the show Talia!
Talia Skye: Thank you very much Chris for inviting me.
Chris Tyler: Now I wanted to bring you on here to talk about the upcoming PCW Reunion show, where you have a big match, but I think it’s best to begin well…at the beginning. You were just a young girl from Ontario, Canada living in the lap of luxury so how did you get into the wrestling business?
Talia Skye: Well, I actually remember it like it was yesterday. When I was young, much like now, I was always hunting down my next challenge. I had done modelling and pageants and they bored me. I had done the whole school politics things and that bored me to death too. And then I saw an episode of professional wrestling one day after school and I realized that it was my next challenge. It was physically and psychologically demanding and I was determined to prove I could conquer it just as easily as modelling and school politics.
Chris Tyler: So you ended up finding a wrestling school?
Talia Skye: Yes I actually went to the same wrestling school as Nathan and Aaron Warrens which is where I became close with the two of them.
Chris Tyler: And from there you went out west?
Talia Skye: Yeah once I was 18 I moved out to Calgary on my own to train with Chris Storm, an amazing technical wrestler. He whipped me into shape and didn’t take any of my attitude. Chris gave me a reality check and made me realize that I had to work my ass off if I wanted to get anywhere. I actually remember this one time he was wrestling me and I had given him sass and he had it. He knocked me down and locked me in a single leg Boston crab for about 10 minutes while I tapped.
Chris Tyler: Wow that sounds a bit excessive!
Talia Skye: It might, but I learned my lesson. I learned a lot about respect for the business and those involved in it when I trained with him.
Chris Tyler: So after you finished training in Calgary where did your career take you?
Talia Skye: Well I went all over the world. I am of the belief, as I was at the time as well, that in this business there’s always room for improvement and there’s always more to learn. I spent a few months in England, where I worked on some of my technical game. I then went out to Mexico for almost a year, learning to incorporate some of the lucha style into my moveset. Finally I went to Japan for a year and a half.
Chris Tyler: And how was Japan?
Talia Skye: I loved Japan! I would say that Japan is to this day my favourite country to wrestle in. There is such a phenomenal level of respect for the wrestling business there. And female wrestlers receive, in my opinion, just as much respect there as the men. While I was in Japan I started to get a significant fanbase.
Chris Tyler: What would you say is your best or favourite match from your first time working in Japan?
Talia Skye: I would have to say…. My match against Terra. You may remember Terra from PWW. Her and I were having an amazing feud, and this was to be the last match of our feud. We had decided that if it was to be the last match it had to be special so we finally decided to be a bit…crazy.
Chris Tyler: Crazy in what sense?
Talia Skye: In Japan there were a few wrestling federations that were well known for their death matches. The thing is though in these death matches the competitors were almost exclusively men. We decided to change that though. So we said fuck it, let’s have a barbed wire massacre death match.
Chris Tyler: That’s insane! And who ended up winning!
Talia Skye: I won of course!
Chris Tyler: Haha! Of course you did! So after this you came back to North America.
Talia Skye: Yes! I joined a pretty big North American based company known as the WWE. I worked there for a couple years and was the most dominant women’s champion they had in a long time. I was undefeated; I was the measuring stick for women’s wrestlers in the company.
Chris Tyler: So why did you choose to leave the WWE for PCW?
Talia Skye: I felt I had done enough in WWE. I was bored there weren’t many challenges. They didn’t let men face women, and I’m a big believer in gender equality in the squared circle. PCW always let any gender face any gender. That appealed to me. Also it was great that several of my friends were already there.
Chris Tyler: So tell me about your first run with PCW.
Talia Skye: It was crazy! I debuted and went right after Danielle Lopez and Heather Monroe!
Chris Tyler: Why those two? Why not some of the men?
Talia Skye: As great as it would be to have faced men right away I thought it would be great to take on some of the top women in the industry and prove to the world that women could steal the show in a man’s world.
Chris Tyler: And steal the show you did! Look at Battle Finale II for example. Your match with Danielle Lopez has long been touted as one of the single greats and most influential matches in mainstream women’s wrestling. Do you agree with this?
Talia Skye: Completely! I think that match was the single moment that the wrestling world took notice of the women of PCW. We stole the show that night and to this day it remains one of my favourite matches of all time. And when you look at the impact that match had on the future I agree it was very influential.
Chris Tyler: Care to explain?
Talia Skye: After that match PCW became extremely interested in promoting more women’s wrestlers. So they came up with the idea of a women’s wrestling show: SNK. That’s where I won the PCW Women’s Championship. That translated to PWW when PCW closed down and I held the PWW Women’s Championship.
Chris Tyler: PWW was where we saw the creation of one of the most dominant stables in recent history, the Black Rose Mafia. Care to tell me how that started?
Talia Skye: Well Danielle and I had become close friends. She was also friends with Desiree. And the three of us came up with a plan of how we could dominate SNK and then PWW.
Formation of the Black Rose Mafia
Chris Tyler: And dominate you did! So let’s talk about the revival of PCW. This time was one hell of a rollercoaster for you.
Talia Skye: It sure as hell was! I was slated to make a big return, Danielle and I had plans to enter the tag team championship tournament. Those plans fell through due to backstage drama. Then when I finally returned and had a storyline going that same drama came back and led to the firing of Damon Warrens. I felt it was completely unfair and I quit PCW in protest.
Chris Tyler: And at the time if I recall you were a month away from having the dream triple threat that you are preparing for now, correct?
Talia Skye: Yes I was, all the stars were aligning and we were weeks away from the dream match, but this drama stopped that.
Chris Tyler: So how was your relationship with your former co-workers during this time?
Talia Skye: Well let’s put it this way my boss and ‘friend’ James Baker had apparently sent Morgan Simmons out to injure me on Rapture because he wasn’t impressed with me. That led to a huge fallout with Danielle and I. I stayed the hell away from all of them. They removed me from the PCW Hall of Fame in spite. Honestly it was pitiful.
Chris Tyler: Months later though everything seemed fixed. You came back as a manager and part-time wrestler. How did that come about?
Talia Skye: It really helped that J.T. Banks and I got back together. He was really the reason this all worked out and I love him to pieces for it. He pretty much told us to get over our egos and talk. And we did. Danielle and I patched things up, as did James and I. I resigned a contract and the rest was history.
Chris Tyler: So what was it like working as a manager for the first time in PCW?
Talia Skye: It was weird obviously. I had been a wrestler my whole career, but it was a nice change of pace. I love trying new things; it’s the spice of life. So I pitched the idea to Da Xtreme Dynasty and they loved the idea. So here I was making my managerial debut and….my team wins tag team gold.
Chris Tyler: You also managed one of your opponents for this big triple threat Reunion show match to two World Title victories. Is it weird at all to be facing your best friend for a championship that you helped her win?
Talia Skye: It’s definitely crazy! I never thought I’d get the chance to have a world title match at all, but here I am. It’s so special that here are the three most influential women in PCW history are main eventing a PCW Pay-per-view in a match 4 years in the making for the World Title. This is history making.
Chris Tyler: It’s been a while out of the ring for you do you think you will be ring ready for what, as you and many others have said, is a history making match?
Talia Skye: I think so. My injuries are healed from my battle with Morgan Simmons from over a year ago. I had no problem wrestling in Pride and JPW. I held numerous titles that all show I am just that damn good. And while I haven’t been on television wrestling for a while I have been training. I always train, regardless of whether or not I’m going to be having matches. It’s a great way to stay fit. So yes I will be ring ready.
Chris Tyler: Now as you just said you haven’t been in ring in a while on television, but you have still made an impact in the business. You’re a manager in WWA with several clients. How did this come together?
Talia Skye: Well I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I’m a fairly in demand talent. So Danielle, who is the head honcho in WWA, called me up and said she wanted me involved. They wanted to have more big names involved to help the company gain some fanfare and also to help some of the newer more inexperienced talent get over and get trained behind the scenes.
Chris Tyler: And so you brought in Killa Queen Incorporated. How did you select your clients?
Talia Skye: Well in the vein of the old school manager I knew I wanted to manage several talents. I figured there are the tag titles and two singles, so I set out looking for the women I thought were talented enough to bring home the gold. Terra was an obvious first choice for me. She and I have a high level of respect for each other from our time in Japan and she`s also a beast. She`s damn near unstoppable. From there I went on a trip around Asia looking for more talent.
Chris Tyler: Why specifically Asia?
Talia Skye: I think it’s super important to introduce the North American audience to more Asian wrestlers. Their technique and skill is flawless. They train harder than most people in this business and I have a huge amount of love and respect for that. So I ended up seeing the Korean Swat Team and they impressed me. I signed them no problem. And finally Riley James…oh jeez that girl is a handful.
Chris Tyler: Now I think I’ve heard a story about how you two met…..she tried fighting you in a bar?
Talia Skye: Yes! Hahah! J.T. and I went out to a bar and we were having a great time just relaxing. All of a sudden some drunk bitch comes up to me and starts getting in my face. J.T. tells her to step off, but you know drunk people, they don’t listen to reason often.
Chris Tyler: No they do not!
Talia Skye: So she pushes me off of my bar stool, I fall to the ground and get back up and get in her face. So here she is dressed like a drunk cowboy ready to fight, and I’m in stilettos and an admittedly skimpy dress. The two of us fought, got pretty damn violent. At the end of it both of us were standing tough and bloody and I realized I had found the last piece of my puzzle. Here was this no nonsense tough as fuck brawler. I gave her my contact information, offered her the job and here we are.
Chris Tyler: Wow! I feel like you`re life is absolutely crazy!
Talia Skye: It totally is!
Chris Tyler: So now things are going to get a little closer to home. You are officially engaged to J.T. Banks. How did he pop the question?
Talia Skye: Oh my god it was so dorky, but absolutely perfect.
Chris Tyler: That sounds great! So before we wrap up here do you have any comments about your upcoming match against Heather Monroe and Danielle Lopez?
Talia Skye: It will be a match for the ages! This is a match fans and wrestlers alike have been waiting to see for years! It will be a show stealer to say the least.
Chris Tyler: You have had some critics that have said they don’t think you’re capable of beating Heather Monroe and Danielle Lopez. What do you say to these critics?
Talia Skye: I say simply this: The Killa Queen returns at the PCW Reunion Show and by the end of the night the throne will be hers.
Chris Tyler: Strong words! Thank you Talia for joining us today and good luck in your match!!
