"Immortal" by Adema plays through the arena as we are welcomed to the 115th edition of Friday Night Frenzy. Fans in the Freedom Hall are going insane for some WWA action.
MW: Welcome to the 115th edition of Friday Night Frenzy! The Ohio Valley Tour continues as we are back in Louisville, Kentucky, this time in the Freedom Hall! I'm Mindy Watson alongside Eric Jameson, and we have a great card for you tonight!
EJ: Crystal versus Destiny is highlighting this show, and we also are getting for the first time ever, Mariah Lopez going one on one against Joanna! Those two matches alone should be a classic!
MW: We also have Riley James against Amy York in a battle between two former Queen Bitch Champions!
EJ: Riley has gotten very popular since the Lethal Cup, and Amy York is no slouch either! This one will be very interesting!
MW: I don't like to babble on too much! Let's get into this show!
"Phenomenon" by Thousand Foot Crutch hits and the crowd cheers extremely loud as Jen Henderson walks out from the back. The hometown girl is basking in the reception as this particular homecoming. She embraces as many people as she could before entering the ring. She has a microphone and begins to speak.
Jen Henderson: Being back home feels EXTREMELY GOOD!
The crowd cheers.
Jen Henderson: We're on the road to Ohio Valley Mayhem, the inaugural episode of the Wildcard series this company has installed. To be headlining it is an honor in of itself. And I'm going for the WWA World Championship.
The fans cheer again.
Jen Henderson: Now I know I have a tall task ahead of me. The champion is one of the hardest hitting competitors in the game today. She can strike with you, she can make you tap and she's quick as hell. All of you are very familiar with her in this area. I am aware that to beat her, I am going to have to dig deep down in a place where I never go to and then some... but I am up for the challenge. I am up for the challenge to be one of the few who has beaten the KO Queen.
We go to the video screen where Crystal Alvarez is standing in her locker room, with an Enzuigiri Party t-shirt over her ring gear and the WWA World Title sitting comfortably on her right shoulder.
Crystal Alvarez: I admire the ambition, and it will be a great match. You say its going to be a tall task for you to beat me, and hey, you're not wrong in the least. But I know you'll give me the best fight you can give me, and in reality, that's all I ask of any opponent. We'll kill it in two weeks time, I'll see you then, Jen.
Crystal disappears from the screen as "Phenomenon" hits again. Jen Henderson stands there and nods her head in approval before heading to the back.
Match 1: The Psychopathic Freakshow (Abby Parker and Nicole and Lizzy Allen w/Alexis Landry) © vs. Enigmatic Justice (Masked Enigma, Miss Justice and Lady Tempest) - Non Title
Enigmatic Justice defeated The Psychopathic Freakshow by disqualification. This opened up our broadcast, and it featured the return of WWA's resident superhero trio of Enigmatic Justice, and a win or good showing here, would definitely put them in the hunt for a future shot at those Trios Titles... but the Psychopathic Freakshow was not about to let that happen. The two teams had Abby and Enigma start this one off. The two of them were brawling with one another, trading vicious blows. When Lizzy and Justice entered, they exhibited a more arial style of offense, while it turned into a technical affair when Tempest and Nicole entered, displaying three different styles among these six wrestlers. The fans were clearly behind Enigmatic Justice in this one as they hung in there and nearly won the match by pinfall on a few occasions. Perhaps out of frustration or whatever reason they had, Alexis Landry blatantly blasted Miss Justice in the face with one of the Trios title belts in front of the referee, therefore disqualifying The Psychopathic Freakshow.
MW: Alexis got her disqualified here, for whatever reason, I don't know!
EJ: Enigmatic Justice was on the verge of beating the Trios Champions... and you have to believe the "Reformed Beauty" wasn't pleased of that in the least!
The Psychopathic Freakshow are beating on Enigmatic Justice. The Superheroes and the psycho's are going at it. That was until the Mascara Mafia joined in on the attack, siding with the Freakshow against the Superheroes. Six on three, with the managers barking out orders. This was until the Killswitch Knockouts came and evened up the odds, helping Enigmatic Justice take the fight to the two Trios teams that had them outnumbered!
MW: The Killswitch Knockouts have saved the day here, and they're helping Enigmatic Justice right here, right now!
EJ: There's also some lingering issues that Lilith has with the Mascara Mafia if last year was any indication!
The face Trios teams eventually clear the ring of the villain Trios teams, sending them away. Enigmatic Justice and the Killswitch Knockouts each high-five one another before standing together, daring The Psychopathic Freakshow and the Mascara Mafia to come back, but the respective managers of those teams are advising their team's not to do such a thing. The heroes stand tall together, much to the delight of the crowd.
"Ice Princess" by Azealia Banks hits and the crowd cheers as Talia Skye and Reyna Carter of KQI's The Canadian Glam Squad, come out together. They each have the WWA Tag Team Titles draped on their shoulders with matching white "Boss Ass Bitches" t-shirts over black mini skirts and matching heels with the gold tiara's over their heads as they make their way down the aisle, with Reyna tagging fans hands. The two of them get on the apron and point to each other, posing before getting into the ring. Talia has a microphone and the Glam Squad takes a seat in their signature red and gold thrones, much to the delight of the crowd.
Talia Skye: Heeeeey bitches!
The crowd pops huge for the familiar two words.
Talia Skye: We feel elated to be here tonight, in front of all of you wonderful souls in Louisville, Kentucky.
The crowd pops some more. Talia then passes the microphone to her protege, who is kind of all business at the moment.
Reyna Carter: Now then, as it pertains to the matters at hand. We want to say we are elated with joy that the Cardinal City Pro officials have accepted the challenge for both WWA AND CCP Tag Team Titles up for grabs at Girls Night Out XI.
A smile comes across the face of both members.
Reyna Carter: We are well aware that The Enzuigiri Party has to defend their tag team titles at Breaking Point against Da Xtreme Dynasty and possibly The Blood Seekers, which we know will be a fantastic match up. Am I right, OG #GlamBoss?
Reyna graciously passes the microphone back to her mentor, the one and only Talia Skye.
Talia Skye: That's right. And while they will be defending their titles, we at the Canadian Glam Squad plan on doing the same exact thing... but the question is WHO will we be defending them against?
Talia thinks alongside her partner in crime.
Talia Skye: We'll gladly face any team, other than Hot and Sexy of course because we've already beaten them twice and they're not worthy enough to face us again. But I mean its a very good question, but we'd like to see which team has enough insides to accept such a challenge against one of WWA's ELITE tag teams.
Suddenly, the Phantasm theme by Fred Myrow and Malcolm Seagrave hits the sound system and the fans roar as Ella Lopez and Dr. Lester appear. They enter the ring and Lester has a mic in hand.
Dr. Lester: You'll be happy to know that one team will be answering your challenge, Mrs. Banks. And it is a team consisting of Ella Lopez and another one of my patients, whom will be revealed in due time.
He pauses for a bit before continuing.
Dr. Lester: Don't think for one second that this strays us away from our current objective. To tell you the truth, answering this challenge only intensifies it. We actually have a lot of respect for the Canadian Glam Squad and you girls are good for the WWA... but my patients holding gold just warms my heart, and that's how its going to be in two weeks time. Ladies, we will see you there.
The Phantasm theme hits again as Lester and Ella leave, while Talia and Reyna stand there, kind of perplexed as they have their titles in hand.
Match 2: Riley James (w/Talia Skye) vs. Amy York
Riley James defeated Amy York by pinfall. The crowd support Riley James has been getting is unreal. Coming off an impressive showing in The Lethal Cup tournament, the beer drinking Texas known in most circles as "America's Most Wanted", was looking to show everybody that her showing in the tournament was no fluke. The former Queen Bitch and Trios Champion took the fight to York, whom also had something to prove and to get back into the win column. They fought tooth and nail, with the high-flying tactics of York throwing Riley off a bit. In the end, Riley was able to put the two time Queen Bitch Champion away with the Death Sentence to cap off an impressive victory.
MW: Riley James proved her showing in the Lethal Cup was no fluke, and earned this win!
EJ: This girl is only going up, and it all started with The Lethal Cup tournament!
Riley and Talia celebrate the hard earned victory, with Riley drinking a couple of beers, much to the delight of the crowd. Meanwhile, Talia Areano is standing at the beginning of the aisleway, looking on, much like how Riley did the same last week. Riley notices as she's drinking her beer, and nods in respect before continuing to drink it down, making their first time encounter that more anticipated.
Match 3: Ella Lopez (w/Dr. Lester and Doomsday) vs. Zaira (w/Mascara Mafia)
Ella Lopez defeated Zaira by disqualification. This was a match up between two individuals with unique pasts. Despite their different allegiances, respect was shown here between the two, much to the dismay of the Mascara Mafia. The first part was an even affair, with neither wrestler really able to take full advantage of this one. Zaira would eventually take the upperhand, landing some stiff strikes to keep Ella down. There were a couple of points where Zaira had it won, but Ella kept kicking out, much to Riley Vega's anger. Ella came back, and delivered some strikes of her own here. Just as she was going for the Hot Tamale, Riley Vega hit her in the back with a chair to cause the disqualification.
MW: Come on! This isn't right!
Vega has a smirk on his face, but that changes rather quickly as Doomsday comes in and beats the holy hell out of Vega. He chokeslams him out of his boots. Calista, Zella and Kiara come in and try to take him down, but Doomsday is too strong for the three of them as he sends them flying too.
MW: The Mascara Mafia is no match for Doomsday!
EJ: Shit, have you looked at him? He's jacked to the gills! Raw power and strength!
Meanwhile in the ring, Ella helps Zaira to her feet, as Dr. Lester is also in the ring. The pair are seen talking to her. Zaira is torn on what to do, but ultimately follows Ella and Lester out of the ring. The three of them, as well as Doomsday all head to the back while the Mascara Mafia is laid out all across ringside.
We pan to the back where Courtney Erickson is standing there with a microphone in hand.
Courtney Erickson: I'm standing by with Angelina Williams. Angelina, last week, you were robbed of a victory over Lola. How are you feeling?
Angelina Williams: I'm very pissed off. She grabbed my tights and managed to get the fluke win after I had her right where I wanted her. Yes I said fluke because she doesn't have talent to do it on her own accord.
Courtney Erickson: Will there be a second match up between the two of you?
Angelina Williams: You're damn right there will be, especially if I have anything to say about it. Matter of fact, I think that'll happen soon enough.
Just as she said that, James Baker comes walking into the scene, dressed in a pink robe covering up his attire of pink tights and black boots.
James Baker: Uhhh sweetheart, that's not going to happen. You see, you're not really worthy enough to face somebody of Lola's stature. She's the greatest thing to come out of Indiana, even greater than Larry Bird.
Angelina Williams: Says who?
James Baker: Says her representative.
Baker be pointing his finger at "The Phoenix" before continuing.
James Baker: I representing STARS! STARS like Princess Abeela, Shelly The Bod, my personal bodyguard Perseus, and the ever so great Lola. To face her again, you're going to have to EARN IT!
Angelina didn't like that whatsoever and went to attack the "Beautiful" one... but was attacked by Lola from behind. Soon, Abeela, Shelly and Perseus joined in and made it four versus one against the former Estrogen Champion. This went on until Whiskey Emmanuelle and Elektra came in with baseball bats. The Princesses and their manager, managed to bail right before anything else could happen. Whiskey and Elektra checked on Angelina as we go to break.
Match 4: Mariah Lopez (w/Mariella Lopez) vs. Joanna
The match never got started. As Joanna made her way to the ring, she was jumped from behind by Dana and Amber Simmons of The Boston Bombshells. They attacked her two on one until Joanna's opponent for tonight, Mariah Lopez, came in to make the save. It was evened up with the two of them going after the Bombshells, until Mandy "The Monster" and Serena Mariella came in and attacked them, making it four against two. They were heavily outnumbered even though they tried their damnedest to prove otherwise. This went on until Rachel Robinson, Mariah's wife and regular tag team partner, came out and ran the four of them off, but not without hitting one of the Bombshells with a steel chair.
MW: Rachel Robinson made the save for Joanna and Mariah!
EJ: She would absolutely do that for her wife, and its a bonus that she also has beef with Alexis and her clients!
The Lethal Barbarians and Joanna stand tall together while Alexis Landry's clients and The Boston Bombshells look back with smirks before going to the back.
"Architects" by Rise Against plays and the crowd boos as GLITTER members Angela Lopez, Mercedes Mendoza and Tamara Jones all walk out from the back, feeling ultra proud of themselves from last week. The three of them walk down the aisle and brush off the fans before entering the ring. Angela has the mic, and the youngest Lopez definitely has something to say.
Angela Lopez: My, my, this is a cesspool.
The crowd boos.
Angela Lopez: Last week, we destroyed the enigma, the legend, the phenom known as Kijo. Let's take a look.
The video screen shows highlights of GLITTER beating down Kijo last week after her match with Sgt. Clemets. It shows Kijo's fighting back, but ultimately falling at the trio, who was without their leader. We go back to the ring with each of them smirking like hell.
Angela Lopez: We did what nobody else could do or has the guts to do, and that's take out that destructive bitch. We took out the winner of the 2017 Lethal Cup tournament. We're unstoppable at this point. At the Ohio Valley Mayhem televised special, we will destroy her further and DRIVE her out of the WWA, FOREVER!!!
The lights suddenly go out in the arena, much to cheers from the crowd. A distorted voice can be heard through the speakers.
Voice: You cannot kill what is already dead. They say to never fuck with the monsters that are creeping under your bed. GLITTER, you have messed with the monster under your bed post... and for that, YOU WILL PAY IN KIND! You three in the ring, as well as your "fearless leader". But next week, we're going to have some fun. Some horror fun. The bloodshed won't stop until Melanie Ramirez is brought to Kijo. You have seven days. Tick tock.
The lights come back on in the arena as the three GLITTER members stand there. The three of them look very rattled as they know what they have to do. They each exit the ring and go to the back while talking to one another.
MW: Kijo has sent a message, loud and clear! The Japanese Boogeyman wants Melanie Ramirez!
EJ: And she won't stop until she gets her, and we've seen time and time again that Kijo doesn't stop her destruction until she gets what she wants! Plain and simple!
Match 5: Taryn Willow © vs. Desiree Miles - Non Title
Taryn Willow defeated Desiree Miles by pinfall. This particular match up pitted the current Estrogen Champion against the former WWA World Champion, whom is also a PCW Hall of Famer. Despite a bit of a layoff, Desiree proved she could still hang with the young talents of today. Taryn though, clearly was not the fan favorite in this one, and much to her credit, she played up to that with her dirty tactics in the match. Desiree had a few instances where she had the match won but each time, Taryn kicked out. It was the same for the champion as well, as Desiree wasn't going to go down that easy, showing the fight that a former WWA World Champion possesses. Despite being tested throughout the contest, Taryn put Desiree away with the Pride of Brooklyn for the very hard fought victory.
MW: Taryn got tested tonight! The champion had to earn this one!
EJ: Desiree Miles has always been a tough outing for opponents! A former World Champion and chief member of the Black Rose Mafia, the PCW Hall of Famer has that never say die attitude, and she almost got the victory over Mrs. Alvarez!
Taryn however, isn't going to stop as she starts to attack Desiree as she begins to get up. Desiree cannot defend herself here as Taryn is delivering a mass amount of punishment to the PCW Hall of Famer. Taryn now has her Estrogen Title in hand as she awaits for Desiree to get to her feet. But before she could do anything - Terra, along with her manager Talia Skye, come out, and Terra starts brawling with Taryn. The two of them went at it, until Terra sent Taryn flying out of the ring.
MW: Good lord! Taryn flew at least five feet! My god what power!
EJ: The rage inside of the beast is surreal! Uncanny to say the least!
Taryn teased getting back in there... but ultimately decides against it, choosing to wait until Ohio Valley Mayhem. Terra however stands there, looking very menacing while Talia is checking on her longtime friend's condition. Taryn stands at the top of the aisle, with her Estrogen Title being held high in the air as the boos are raining down on her in the Freedom Hall.
Main Event: Crystal Alvarez © vs. Destiny - Non Title
Crystal Alvarez defeated Destiny by submission. This was the first match up between these two athletes in two years, they last faced off in Cardinal City Pro when Crystal was their Television Champion. The two former CCP Women's Champions were set to do battle in the main event, and each of them upped their game considerably for this one, especially as they are in a venue they have each wrestled in plenty of times for CCP. Destiny threw Crystal off early with a style she had never used before, and it was very effective throughout the contest. However, Crystal being who she was, wasn't going to go down easily and she rocked the hell out of Destiny, hitting her extremely hard. The two of them went tit for tat throughout the contest with Destiny coming close to winning. However, she made a very vital mistake as she went for the Anti Party Kick... but Crystal ducked and then grabbed the neck as she locked in the all familiar yet devastating Gogoplata submission hold she calls the Tap or Die! Destiny tried like hell to fight out of it, but much like its name sake, she had no choice but to Tap out, giving the WWA World Champion the victory in this one.
MW: The champ is rollin' here with a big time victory here tonight!
EJ: Destiny is an old opponent of hers a couple years back, and is a CCP legend! But so is Crystal, and the KO Queen is ready for her match up at Ohio Valley Mayhem!
As Crystal celebrates, Jen Henderson heads to the ring and looks at the champ with a smirk on her face. The two former CCP Women's and Queen of the Mountain winners stare at one another, with Crystal holding the WWA World Title high in the air, signifying her status as the alpha female of the WWA. The broadcast ends with the two of them respectfully continuing to stare at one another.
