Match 1: The Killswitch Knockouts (Mya Lopez, Lilith Evans and Yasmeen Dumont) © vs. Enigmatic Justice (Masked Enigma, Miss Justice and Lady Tempest) [WWA Trios Championship]
This opening contest and the first of three championship matches gets underway with Yasmeen Dumont starting this off against The Masked Enigma. The two of them engaged with a series of high impact moves, with Enigma getting the advantage early, throwing the champs off before she tagged in Miss Justice. Justice went up against Yasmeen and fared well until Yasmeen countered a Hurricanrana attempt into a powerbomb, and the fans popped loudly as Yasmeen is a Canadian herself.
Yasmeen then tagged Mya Lopez in the match, and the latter went up against Justice, hitting her with enough firepower to get this one back into their favor. The two time WWA World Champion wore Justice down considerably with a variety of submission holds, showcasing her technical prowess. This lasted until Justice kicked Mya straight in the head and this gave her enough time to tag in Lady Tempest. Tempest and Justice planted Mya down with a double gut buster.
Tempest laid in some lightning quick strikes against Mya, for in which the latter came back with some of her own. This exchange went on until Tempest planted a neckbreaker to keep Mya down before focusing intently on that area of the body to keep her at bay. It worked for quite a while as Mya Lopez was wearing down considerably... until she found just enough to get out of it, then stun Tempest long enough to make the all ever hot tag to Lilith Evans.
Lilith came in and took it directly to Tempest with a lot of strikes before hitting her with an overhead belly-to-belly. Lilith let out a roar before following up with a double underhook sitout facebuster. There was a near fall there when Enigma came in and broke it up. Yasmeen though, flew in immediately and those two took it to the floor. Miss Justice then dove over the ropes and hit a plancha on both, taking them all out. In the ring, Tempest attempted the Definition of Justice... but Lilith ended up reversing it into the Black Raven, with Tempest tapping out soon after.
WINNERS, AND STIIIILLLL WWA TRIOS CHAMPIONS: The Killswitch Knockouts via submission!
"Psycho" by Puddle of Mudd plays to a huge chorus of boos from the crowd as Casey and Brandon Matthews walk out, with Alice Humes Kennedy and Tamara Hawke right behind them, and Mya Denton being led with a leash by Casey. The four of them walk down the aisle with a purpose as they head into the ring. Brandon has a microphone and begins to speak.
Brandon Matthews: When we formed Kijo's vision for the whole world to see, we knew there would be those who opposed us. Those who wouldn't share our vision for this company. Boy oh boy were we correct in that assessment.
The fans boo the living hell out of Brandon.
Brandon Matthews: But you see, we have a bone to pick with management... and not to anybody's surprise, the Kuromusha Army aren't the only ones who dislike Danielle Lopez. While our battle is more with Dr. Lester and his so-called "patients", Danielle decided to join up with Lester, effectively making her a part of this Great War. There are forces in the back who dislike the boss lady, and well... lets bring them out. Shall we?
"Sorry" by Beyoncé plays to a thunderous amount of boos from the crowd as Alexis Landry and Mandy "The Monster" appear from the back. The pink haired loudmouth is seething as she has a microphone. Both her and Mandy enter the ring and shake hands with Brandon.
Alexis Landry: Yes Brandon, thank you for the invitation. It is true, my clients and I have a major problem with the head honcho of this company. Every fucking time my clients get on a roll, we are stopped dead in our tracks and are left off the cards for months and months on end knowing well and good how bullshit it truly is.
Alexis says intently while the crowd chants derogatory things at her.
Alexis Landry: [clearly ignores them] It is a gross injustice how my clients continously get the shaft here in WWA. All we want is a chance to prove just how good they actually are, yet Danielle Lopez wants to hand her best friend Talia Skye all of the spotlight, as if that stupid Canadian bitch needs anymore of it.
The crowd boos Alexis even more. That was until "Puppets On a String (w/lyrics)" by Dale Oliver plays to cheers from the crowd as Canadian native Kelly Hampton walks out from the back, but they turn right to full blown boos as James Baker and former CCP North American Champion Big Beauty appears alongside her. The three of them walk down the aisle before getting into the ring. Hampton has the mic and begins to speak.
Kelly Hampton: Its been quite sometime since I have been here. I was ousted from this company rather unfairly mind you.
Kelly says with disdain.
Kelly Hampton: Both Reyna Carter and Crystal Alvarez got what they wanted by driving me out of here. While Baker and Beauty were dominating CCP, to whom I manage both of them there, this caused the relationship I had with my clients here to mostly vanish. And I owe all of that to Danielle Lopez's incompetence and rather favouritism to both of those former World Champions, who still are allowed to run amock of this company. Hell, if your name is Taryn Willow, Crystal Alvarez, Reyna Carter, Talia Skye, or any member of her stupid Lopez family, you can do whatever the hell you want in this company.
The crowd has boos for one of their own here.
Kelly Hampton: Now fellas, I know you are looking for members of your five person squad at New Years Battlefield. As you know, Beauty is a former client of Casey Matthews so there is history there. I, as the well successful manager of Big Beauty, would be honored to offer her services as a member of Team Matthews at the Battlefield and gain a form of revenge on not just Danielle Lopez, but also Dr. Lester as well.
Kelly says with a smirk, and Alexis Landry now speaks up.
Alexis Landry: Miss Hampton, I like your theory on adding your beast in there, and much like yours, my monster here also has history with Casey Matthews, and while I know there is no love loss between those two, we are willing to put that aside and Mandy has graciously offered to be a part of Team Matthews, giving them two of the biggest most powerful monsters in wrestling on the same fucking team. It doesn't get any better than that.
The crowd boos as Kelly and Alexis are in agreement.
Brandon Matthews: YES! YES! YES! I love this idea. Two of the biggest forces in wrestling today, joining our team. They will team with the Wrecking Crew, as well as our slaa.... I mean, my brother's girlfriend, Mya Denton. We have assembled a rather dominating five woman group. I wonder what Danielle Lopez and Dr. Lester comes up with. We're DYING to know what those hacks come up with. Get that shit up next week bitches. We're out.
"Psycho" plays again as the Kuromusha Army exits, with Alexis and Mandy, as well as Kelly, Baker and Beauty all following suit to a rabid amount of boos from the crowd.
Match 2: Terra (w/Talia Skye) vs. Princess Abeela (w/James Baker) vs. Desiree Miles [Winner faces Kijo or Reyna Carter for the WWA World Championship at New Years Battlefield]
This match up is underway, and immediately, Abeela and Desiree Miles team up to try and take the beast out of this one. Desiree goes for the face while Abeela goes for the legs. This combination works for a bit until Terra overpowers both and shoves them to the mat. Terra flexes to the delight of the crowd and dares her challengers to step it up. Being the veteran that she is, Desiree shoved Abeela forward, and Terra responded with a sidewalk slam to the former World and Trios Champion.
This left Desiree to fight her former rival, and the two of them renewed it, with Terra gaining the upperhand here. However, Desiree was not going to do down quietly as she bit the forehead of the beast, who staggered a bit. Desiree immediately tried for Florida's Finest... but Terra was too strong and ended up turning it into a Samoan Drop! Terra goes for the pin... but Abeela broke it up at the count of Two!
That only pissed the beast off even further as Terra hopped right back up. Abeela ran around the ring, attempting to avoid Terra... but she eventually was caught and was planted right down to the mat with a Two-handed choke powerbomb! This set Terra up to hit Abeela with the Earthquake, and immediately went for the cover... and punched her ticket to a World Championship match at New Years Battlefield!
WINNER, AND NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE WWA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: Terra via pinfall!
Match 3: Whiskey Emmanuelle © vs. Lexi Reiyne [WWA Television Championship]
Coming off her biggest win yet in WWA last Friday night, Whiskey Emmanuelle puts the Television Title on the line against former champion Lexi Reiyne. The two of them shook hands before circling around the ring, where Whiskey's strikes got her the early advantage here. Lexi though, found a way to fight back here and was taking it to the champion, causing Whiskey to roll out of the ring and re-evaluate her strategy against a very game Geek Goddess.
Whiskey eventually rolled back into the ring and went after Lexi again, who was ready and delivered a few well placed striked before capping it off with a Hurricanrana. The fans are clearly behind Lexi, who made a name for herself on the Canadian wrestling circuit as one-third of the famed Fallen Angelz stable. She went high risk... but it didn't result in a reward as Whiskey moved out of the way, and that was what the champion needed right there.
Whiskey got back up and went after Lexi with a stiff combination of rights and lefts before finishing it off with a kick to the face. Lexi got back up and Whiskey whipped her into the ropes. Whiskey ran in... and hit a knee lift to the jaw, before transitioning into the bulldog! Whiskey waits rather rabid like for Lexi to get up. As Reiyne is back to her feet, Whiskey NAILED her in the face with the Droppin' Bitches kick, before she immediately changes it up and locks in the Dragon Sleeper portion of Crank That Fucker! Lexi tried like hell to fight out of it and came oh so close to the ropes... but the pain was too much and she had no choice but to submit.
WINNER, AND STIIIILLLL WWA TELEVISION CHAMPION: Whiskey Emmanuelle via submission!
"Leave a Scar" by Marilyn Manson plays as Whiskey Emmanuelle is handed the Television Championship. However, at the top of the ramp, Talia Areano can be seen watching intently, perhaps eyeing an opportunity at the Television Title.
We cut to the backstage area where Courtney Erickson is standing by.
Courtney Erickson: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time. "The KO Queen" Crystal Alvarez!
The crowd cheers as the camera pans to Crystal Alvarez, wearing an Enzuigiri Party t-shirt over black jeans and black and white converse's.
Courtney Erickson: Last week, we saw your wife Taryn Willow take a big time Code of Light off the stage and into the Electrical Equipment. Everybody is wanting to know how is she doing?
Crystal Alvarez: She's getting better. She's doing extensive rehabilitation. A spinal contusion is no joke, it is no laughing matter, and thankfully it wasn't much worse than it actually was.
Courtney Erickson: Do you personally lay any fault to anybody for this?
Crystal Alvarez: No. While I do hate that the love of my life cannot make her living inside that ring until New Years Battlefield, I don't put any fault whatsoever on Rachel Robinson. I've known Rach close to five years, and her and I put on a classic match up back in August. She's not one to do that shit on purpose.
Courtney Erickson: Alrighty, because we have another set of guests. Former WWA and CCP Tag Team Champions, The Enzuigiri Party.
The camera pans to Bella and Kyoko, who do their customary handshake with Crystal.
Courtney Erickson: Like how I asked Crystal. How is the condition of Rachel?
Bella Robinson: Very very sore. She finally got to move around today. Its a slow process but she will definitely be ready to go before New Years Battlefield.
Courtney Erickson: Why do you believe that she went to this level against Taryn?
Bella Robinson: I know certain situations have been very hard on Rachel. That was something that we all kind of intended to keep private... yet Taryn had to run her mouth. There were the rumors on the net and we assume that's how Taryn got her information. We don't know how this got out considering very few people knew about it behind closed doors... but we will get to the bottom of this. I promise you that.
Crystal Alvarez: That's something we all agree on here. Sensitive information like that should never be touched, just like how people's troubled pasts should never be brought to light either, especially as I had helped Taryn beat her demons... yet Mariella had to bring that shit up and use that to slander her. Whenever something like that happens, I have to deal with it because I'm the only one who can calm her down when people within the business provokes her.
Bella Robinson: We don't condone that either. As boss lady said, two wrongs don't make a right. We're not in favor of it but we also stand by Rachel and Mariella, just as you stand by Taryn. The three of us are a clique, always have been.
Crystal Alvarez: And always will be.
The trio does the handshake again.
Courtney Erickson: Speaking of Mariella. When is she returning?
Bella Robinson: I'd say very very soon. Next week perhaps. She'll be around and she has things to say. We have things to do.
The trio of former Team Lethality members all leave the set together.
Match 4: The Jungle Warriors (Joanna and Elektra) vs. The Boston Bombshells (Dana and Amber Simmons w/Casey and Brandon Matthews) [Winning team becomes number one contenders for the WWA Tag Team Championship]
We begin this one and Joanna is up against Dana. This is a continuation of Joanna's battles against the two Simmons' sisters who have made her life difficult over the last several months, but now this is for the number one contendership of the Tag Team Titles. Joanna had the upperhand early on... but Dana came back with some piston fire rights and lefts before throwing Joanna over the ropes. The referee begins the count, but Joanna got back in early and the brawl between the two continued.
Joanna had the advantage for a bit, then it shifted right back to Dana before Joanna had it again. Back and forth we are early in this one. Unbeknownst to Joanna though, Amber made the blind tag, and The Boston Bombshells made her pay with a clothesline/spinebuster combination. Amber made the cover... but could only get a Two count! Amber stays on Joanna before transitioning into in-and out tags between her and her sister. They isolate Joanna and utilize dirty tactics to keep her at bay, much to the dismay of Elektra who tried to stop it but the referee shielded her, allowing The Bombshells to do more dirty tactics against the former TV Champion.
This went on with The Boston Bombshells continuing their display of dominance, until Joanna was able to fight back and stun Amber until she tagged in Elektra! Elektra came in and cleared the ring of both Dana and Amber with her powerful moves. She went to the outside and fought Amber like a woman possessed, and even powerslamming Dana down to the floor. The fans were eating this up, cheering on the woman of steel every step of the way as she rolled Amber back into the ring and made the cover... but only a Two count!
The battle between the two teams continued, with Joanna and Dana fighting it out on the outside while Elektra and Amber did the same before their brawl ended up outside of the ring. Both teams continued throwing haymakers at one another as the referee began counting. They ignored the count the entire way, and were still brawling, even as the referee reached the count of Ten, ringing the bell for this one to end.
WINNER: N/A via double countout!
The fight continues among the two teams, with security eventually coming in to break this one up. This prompted Danielle Lopez to walk out from the back to stop this.
Danielle Lopez: This has gone on long enough. We've tried to solve this number one contendership issue, but to no avail. Sooooo... I have an idea.
The boss says with a smirk.
Danielle Lopez: At New Year's Battlefield, we will have The Canadian Glam Squad defend the WWA Tag Team Titles against The Boston Bombshells...
The crowd boos.
Danielle Lopez: ... Annnnnnnd, Joanna and Elektra of The Jungle Warriors, in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match!
The crowd cheers wildly as "Still I Rise" by Shadows Fall plays. Danielle leaves the stage while the security has both challenging teams for the Tag Team Titles separated for the time being.
Main Event: Kijo (w/Casey and Brandon Matthews) © vs. Reyna Carter (w/Talia Skye) [WWA World Championship]
The main event of the evening is a rematch from Boom or Bust and Eve of Destruction earlier this year as the current World Champion takes on the longest reigning WWA World Champion and one half of the Tag Team Champions. The champ stands there very stoic like, while the challenger gets her fellow Canadian's riled up for this one.
The bell rings and the challenger immediately goes after the champ with strikes and the rabid Hamilton crowd is cheering on Reyna's every move. Kijo comes back with very stiff strikes of her own, and the fans are booing rather hardcore at her every move. The fan hatred only fueled Kijo as she struck even harder, eventually knocking Reyna back down to the mat with a clothesline. The champion stays on the challenger with some stomps before hitting the point of her foot directly to the jaw of Reyna Carter.
Kijo looks at her challenger with an expressionless look on her face before continuing to go to work, striking at every body part with precision. She stomps away at the head, the arms and the legs before hitting a boot to the face. She makes the first cover... but only a Two count! Kijo stays focused and gets Reyna up. She whips her into the corner, then runs in for a splash... but NOBODY home as Reyna moved out of the way. This bought some time for the "Glam Boss", who followed up with a German Suplex! She went for a pin of her own... but only a Two count here!
The contest went on some time and Reyna was in control... but it shifted right back to Kijo when an arial attack by Reyna failed. Kijo then targetted the ribs rather psychologically, kicking at them, then locking in an abdominal stretch. Reyna was hurting here as Kijo had the hold synched in tighter, stretching Reyna's mid-section out. The former World Champ was in a large amount of pain as it was very hard to get out of this hold... but her fellow country people are behind her every step of the way. She finds the strength from within to get back to a vertical standing and hits a jawbreaker to cause separation, before hitting a discus clothesline... but both competitors are down here.
Both eventually get up and start trading blows, with the Canadian's fully behind the challenger, while booing the strikes of the champion. Back and forth they went, and Reyna eventually got the upperhand again, with backfists, then a clothesline to get the champion down. She picks Kijo back up and whips her into a turnbuckle before following in with the Mean Girls Problems dropkick! Kijo stumbles out... and Reyna hits the Inferiority Complex! She hooked the leg and was on her way towards a second World Title reign... buuuuuuuut Kijo kicked out at Two-and-a-half!
Reyna is in disbelief but still stays on Kijo, hitting a dropkick to the side of the head before signaling for it again. Kijo got up and Reyna went for a standing version of A Bitch's Welcome... but Kijo held on, and delivered a powerbomb to the mat. This allowed the champ to get Reyna into a sleeper before transitioning into a body scissors, then getting into the pentagram and fully locking in the Obsidian Nightmare! Reyna was in a bad bad way, right in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go. To her credit, the "Glam Boss" did everything she could to try to get out of this one, damn near escaping... but the hold was too much and she had no choice but to submit.
WINNER, AND STIIIILLLLL WWA WORLD CHAMPION: "The Japanese Demon" Kijo via submission!
"Astral Dogma" by Yousei Teikoku plays and the crowd boos loudly as Kijo is handed the WWA World Championship... but that doesn't last long as she continues to attack Reyna.
MW: The match is over! You proved your point!
EJ: She wants to send a message loud and clear to Terra!
Kijo continues the attack. Talia Skye came in and started striking at the champion, and it was back and forth for a while... until Casey Matthews came in and hit her in the back with a chair... but Talia surprisingly didn't go down. The "Killa Queen" turned right back around and Casey immediately began cowering to the corner, not wanting any part of an angry Talia Skye... but it was a trap as Kijo turned her around and blasted her with the Doomsday Kiss.
MW: Kijo is a one woman wrecking machine! She has destroyed the Tag Team Champions!
EJ: Its a sight to see! This woman is dangerous!
Kijo continues her onslaught on the Tag Team Champions... but that didn't last long as Terra came walking out, mean and with a purpose. She hits the ring and is face to face with the champ. After a long staredown, Kijo eventually leaves the ring, knowing that she will have her showdown with the beast at the beginning of January.
MW: I've never seen Kijo leave the ring before, but is this smart strategy?
EJ: Yes it is! Terra is a massive beast who is a former WWA World Champion in her own right! Kijo has never faced an opponent as large as her! That's a challenge all in itself!
The show ends with Kijo looking on stoic like at the top of the stage while Terra looks on with an equally stoic face while checking on Talia and Reyna.
