Date: 1-3-2021
Venue: The Lethal Compound (San Diego, California)
Match 1: Tag Team Match
Mi Pi Sexy (Angelina Williams and Lexi Reiyne w/Kelly Hampton) def. The Queens of Pop (K-Spice and Sassy Julie) in 5:00: We started the broadcast off with one of wrestling’s best tag teams in action. They didn’t exactly break a sweat here as they hit Sassy Julie with Beautified for the win.
Post Match Extravaganza: Mariella Lopez and The Monsters of Beauty came out and attempted to brawl with their adversaries but was separated by Scott and Marty (formerly Bull Connor and Ape Simmons). The two sides were wanting to continue to go but they were being separated with extreme force.
Match 2: WWA Trios Championship
The Pretty Committee (Bianca Davis, Veronica Taylor and Christina Fierce w/Mariella Lopez) © def. The Insanity Patients (Mya Denton, Harley Green and Cora Quinn) [WWA Trios Championship] in 7:22 to retain the WWA Trios Championship: This was a bout between two teams who have some history with each other, and it was a lot more competitive than The PC preferred it to be. The champs ended the match with the #Basic destroyer to Harley Green.
Backstage
Mariella Lopez and The Pretty Committee: The manager and her Trios Champions walked to the back, and Mariella said this as well as this Friday Night is a sample of what a more aggressive Pretty Committee looks like. She says Chroma Conclave will not walk out of Eve of Destruction under their own power while The PC will remain Trios Champions and that's just the way it is. It's up to Harper, Sanada and Dokueki to accept it, otherwise they will suffer the consequences much like they did on Frenzy this past Friday night.
Match 3: Lethal Cup Tournament
11. Raven Crowe (w/Eavan Maloney) def. 6. Rachel Robinson in 8:32: Both were coming into this match with loads of momentum. Raven had the hot hand early, taking it to the legendary Hardcore and Tag Team wrestler, but Rachel being the crafty veteran she is, was showcasing her skills and pulling out a lot of new moves we have never seen from her before. The end of the match saw Rachel attempt the Code of Light… but Raven managed to get out of it and stunned Rachel with a pump kick which led to her hitting the Coven Back Breaker for the win and a final four appearance in the Lethal Cup Tournament against the winner of the Crystal Alvarez versus Athena match.
Post match: Both Rachel and Raven had a stare off before shaking hands as a sign of respect for the hard hitting match they just went through.
Backstage
Eavan Maloney (and Raven Crowe): The "Serpent of Chaos" stated Rachel Robinson was good and her comeback is one for the ages… but her Gothic Princess is on a major roll and is now in the Final Four of this tournament. As a former Lethal Cup winner herself, Eavan stressed that this tournament only gets harder. She personally knows how good and how destructive Crystal can be and tells Raven not to take her lightly. Raven assures Eavan that she won’t. Talia Areano came into the picture with words of fury, saying that the only reason Raven won at Wildcard IX was because she grabbed the tights, but did state she would love a rematch for Eve of Destruction. Raven got up in Areano's face and accepted the challenge. Areano smirked and slapped Raven in the face before walking away with a confident expression on her face, showing an attitude we haven't seen out of the Spicy one yet.
Match 4: Tag Team Match
The Gladiator Sisters (Elektra and Desdemona Stratos) def. Hot and Sexy (Brittany Kinary and Katie Chason) in 6:00: The Gladiators were looking to build off of their recent path of destruction, and they did just that as they made this about as one-sided as possible. Elektra and Desdemona ended the match with a Nike Chokeslam to Brittany Kinary.
Backstage
Elektra and Desdemona: The sister’s were in the back and were quite confident in themselves and their abilities, believing with what they have done as of late, they should be considered for a Tag Team Title match. Before they could say more, Joanna and Trixie Decker came in and took the fight to the sister’s. Scott and Marty appeared for the second time and separated the four of them; Marty having two and Scott having two, both physically throwing them out of the building single-handedly to end things.
Match 5: Tag Team Match
Tara Cabral and The Reaper def. The Prophecy (Zella and Zaira) in 6:45: Tara and Reaper were teaming up for the very first time against common enemies, and the former rivals worked well together, throwing The Prophecy off of their game. Match ended when Tara and Reaper hit a combination of the Tara-Rizer and Fear The Reaper.
Post match extravaganza: Bathory and Alice Manson came out along with Calista and were taking it to Reaper and Tara. Zella and Zaira eventually recovered and it became five against two. As Tara and Reaper’s backs were against the wall, Nicole and Lizzy Allen came out with crowbars and fought back against the five members of The Prophecy. Tara and Reaper eventually rejoined and turned their five enemies away from the ring. Tara grabbed a mic and challenged The Prophecy to a four on four match for Eve of Destruction with Reaper and The Allen Sisters as her partners. Dr. Lester accepted on behalf of The Prophecy before going to the back.
Match 6: Singles Match
Jenn Simmons def. Yang Shu in 7:36: To say Jenn was irate was understating things, she was ticked off and was determined to take it out on Yang Shu. But Yang was showing a rather feisty attitude against Jenn Simmons. Bianca Page who was still angry about two weeks ago, came out for a distraction which did cause Yang to take her eye off the ball. That gave Jenn the opening she needed as she hit The Patriot Way for the win, much to Page’s satisfaction.
Backstage
Bianca Page: The "Classy" one was quite pleased with herself and said that Yang Shu's victory over her two weeks ago was a sham, a farce, a FLUKE! She had to do what she had to do to make sure Yang knew her place, and for why she did what she did to Brittany Williams, she did that because she can do whatever she pleases.
Match 7: Trios Match
The Killswitch Knockouts (Mya Lopez, Lilith Evans and Yasmeen Dumont) def. Sereka Tajiri and The Paisley's (Sarah and Tina Paisley) in 6:15: This was the first time in months that The Knockouts were in action, and this was the best they had looked in a while. There was no hesitation, no slip ups, just hard hitting. The three time Trios Champions ended this one with the KO City to Tina Paisley.
Match 8: Singles Match
Bianca Page def. Destiny in 6:58: Destiny was in for a battle here against Bianca Page, and the two of them had a bit of a back and forth. Destiny went for the Anti Party Dro… but that was countered as Page turned it into the Halo before capping it off with Pure Elegance for the win.
Post Match: As Page celebrated, Brittany Williams came out and got a form of revenge with a chair shot to the back. Having not forgotten the events of FNF 189, Britt-Brat was wailing all over Page with the chair until she hit her with the Coronation right on the chair. Williams left with the chair in her hand but not without shouting things at Page.
Backstage
Brittany Williams: The "Lil' Dream Machine" came back and noted that Bianca Page was not going to get away with sucker punching her right in the mouth. But she thanked Page because it opened her eyes on what it was she had been doing wrong during her WWA tenure, aka allowing BS to happen. She then goes into what happened to Mariah this past Friday and chastised her mother and her tia Mariella Lopez, calling their actions reprehensible and says they WILL pay for what they did to Mariah, and that's a promise she intends on keeping.
Match 9: Singles Match
Trixie Decker def. Serena Mariella in 8:01: Trixie had been on a bit of a slide as of late and was looking to rebound against Serena Mariella. Both competitors were aggressive in the early going here, and Serena got in some shots but Trixie had a counter for everything that was thrown at her. Trixie eventually got Serena set up for the Jinx Drop to get the victory.
Backstage
Rachel Robinson: Rachel expressed how awesome it was to compete in The Lethal Cup Tournament, and says while it is disappointing to bow out of the second round, she has no regrets. Then the tone of her voice changed as she talked specifically about what happened Friday to her wife Mariah. Rachel states that both Mariella and Christina will feel her wrath of fury and dared both of them to come confront her face-to-face on Frenzy in twelve nights before storming off, electing to keep this one short, sweet and to the point.
Main Event: Lethal Cup Tournament
1. Crystal Alvarez def. 10. Athena in 10:34: Two former WWA World Champions went at it in a technical style contest. Anything associated with technical wrestling was used here. Crystal managed to put Athena away with Wrath of THE Alvarez in what was a clean contest.
Post match: Alvarez had her hand raised, then extended her hand as a sign of respect to Athena who eventually got up to her feet. Athena looked at the hand but walked away instead, perhaps frustrated that her chance of regaining the WWA World Title went up in flames. Alvarez looked quite angry at the snub but she couldn't focus on that too long as Raven Crowe met her in the ring. The two of them engaged in a staredown with one another as the show came to a close.
