Venue: The Lethal Compound (San Diego, California)
"Misery Business" by Paramore plays and the crowd that was allowed inside of the Lethal Compound tonight was red hot for the fifth episode of Sunday Night Knockout under the WWA banner. Desiree Miles and Melanie Mendoza welcomed the viewers for this show and hyped up the lineup, featuring both Television and Joshi Championships on the line as well as the battle between Raven Crowe and Diamond (formerly Kate) Steele to determine who will challenge for the Joshi Title at Boom or Bust IV in twenty-six days.
Match 1: Rachel Robinson and The Ninja Squad (Lethalclaw and Lethalkill) vs. Sophisticated Royalty (Michelle Ryder, and Sarah and Sandra Lively)
Sophisticated Royalty tried to get a jumpstart on the match but The Ninja Squad caught them and along with Rachel, they were blasting the heck out of each member of the team. Both Lively Twins and Michelle Ryder though had a little bit of momentum in spurts but the experience and continuity of Rachel and The Ninja's as a trio’s unit were just too much as the three of them hit Ryder with the Ninja Bomb for the win.
WINNERS: "The Dark Barbarian" Rachel Robinson and The Ninja Squad via pinfall in 8:23!
Post Match: Following the win, The Monsters of Beauty AND The Gemstones came out and attacked them. Rachel and The Ninja’s tried to fight back but the numbers and size disadvantage was a little bit too much to overcome and in the end, they stood tall over Rachel and The Ninja’s.
Match 2: Brittany Williams vs. Maria Salvatore
The “Lil Dream Machine” and Maria Salvatore, two women who have indirect history with one another, were set to do battle here tonight. Salvatore got the upperhand with a few underhanded tactics but Brittany fought back and laid into Salvatore with stiff shots, all before going for the kill and finishing her off with the Frog Splash she calls Hollywood Hills!
WINNER: “The Lil’ Dream Machine” Brittany Williams via pinfall in 7:16!
Post Match: Right as Brittany was declared the winner, The Gemstones and The Monsters of Beauty came out and attacked the “Lil’ Dream Machine”. Brittany did her best to fight back but the five on one disadvantage literally did her no favors as The Monsters of Beauty capped off the beatdown with the Monsterific to major heat from the audience.
Match 3: Raven Crowe (w/Eavan Maloney) vs. Diamond Steele (w/Mariella Lopez) - Joshi Rules Match [Winner receives shot at Joshi Championship at Boom or Bust IV]
This match was far from what these two normally do, but for a shot at a championship? They were willing to adapt as far as possible, and that’s what we saw a lot of here. Steele being the more technically sound of the two, had gotten Raven to use a rope break following a sleeper hold but Raven started to come back into it by working over the arm of the former Hardcore Champion, causing her to use a rope break as well. The two battled for a few more minutes until Raven hit Steele with the Coven Backbreaker and the Three count to pick up the win.
WINNER: "The Gothic Princess" Raven Crowe via pinfall in 11:21!
Post Match: Eavan Maloney was on the microphone and proclaimed that despite her huge respect for Tara Cabral, this was indeed Raven's time and regardless of whether it is Tara or Hikari Richards who walks out tonight as Joshi Champion, Raven will leave the biggest WWA pay-per-view of the year as a champion.
Pre-Taped Promo
Dr. Lester: He and company were at the remains of what was known as the Prophetic Compound. Lester orchestrated for it to be burned down to teach Abby Parker a lesson in respect. Lester says he isn’t satisfied yet. He challenges Abby to a Clockwork House of Fun match at Boom or Bust IV and says he will finally rid the wrestling world of Abby Parker for good.
Match 4: Bianca Page vs. Azola Alves
Bianca Page, coming off a victory over Yang Shu, was looking to continue that momentum over Azola Alves and it appeared as if she was doing that in the early going, but Azola found an opening and capitalized on Page’s early arrogance with a Judo style offense. But Page eventually found a way back into it and it led to her hitting Pure Elegance for the win.
WINNER: "Classy" Bianca Page via pinfall in 7:23!
Post Match: Bianca Page was victorious again but was confronted by Yang Shu who still is not pleased that Page got a cheap win on FNF 192. Yang challenged Bianca to one more match for Boom or Bust, which Page denied. Not feeling satisfied, Yang slapped the hell out of Page in the face then hit her with a spinning heel kick in the face to stand tall over her to the roar of the crowd.
Match 5: Jung Moon © vs. Harley Green [WWA Television Championship]
Coming off of a successful title defense this past Friday, Jung Moon was looking to keep the momentum going but she was hurt going into this one thanks in large part due to the attack by Morgan Simmons to end Frenzy, and that gave Harley Green an advantage as she was hitting the ribs and neck area of Jung with everything she had, grounding her completely. But despite the injuries, Jung came back and was pushing through the pain while combating Harley Green. Green went for one last gasp and tried a dive from the top… but Jung hit her with the Seoul Crusher upon arrival, then got the Three count for yet another successful championship defense.
WINNER, AND STILL WWA TELEVISION CHAMPION: “Unforgettable” Jung Moon via pinfall in 10:23!

Crystal Alvarez and The Puerto Rican Head Smashers: The fearsome team of four reiterated their desire to make those who won't show respect pay. Crystal hypes up the trio of Isabella Rivera, Annalisse Sanchez and Antonella Diaz as a problem in the Trios division. While they are here to bust some heads, they're going to do it with honor, something Athena does not possess. Alvarez challenged Athena and The Knockouts to an eight person tag team match and says hopefully Athena won't be a sore loser when it comes time to lose the match.
Match 6: Courtney Erikson vs. Trixie Decker
This match came from Erikson bad-mouthing Decker on the previous edition of Knockout. The two of them went right at it with fists before Erikson got the upperhand with an eye poke. The crowd was booing the hell out of Courtney who scoffed at them but all the showboating she was doing did her in as Decker made a comeback of sorts and was closing in on a win but Erikson feigned being hurt badly which caused the referee to intervene and Decker let her guard down. That proved to be a mistake as Erikson capitalized on that and hit It’s Courtney Bitch for the win.
WINNER: Courtney Erikson via pinfall in 6:14!
Post Match: Erikson had a giant smirk on her face and wiped her feet on Decker in huge disrespectful fashion before taking her leave.
Backstage Promo
Courtney Erikson: The unbeaten announcer turned wrestler stated that she proved Trixie Decker is nothing more than a fraud and proclaims herself to be the first entrant in the thirty-first edition of the Scars of Wrestling Cup match at Boom or Bust IV before walking off.
Main Event: Tara Cabral © vs. Hikari Richards [WWA Joshi Championship]
The bell sounded and Hikari threw Tara off early with her fast paced offense, even dropkicking Tara out of the ring. The champion came back in and delivered a series of forearm shots before hitting a clothesline. Tara slowed the match down and even managed to cause Hikari to use a rope break after locking in an armbar, all to hopefully lock in the crossface. But Hikari managed to stage a comeback, going back to that fast paced offense before hitting the Hikari Express that caused Tara to use a rope break.
But Hikari was in control and nailed Tara with the Orient before hitting her with the Occident to cause Tara to use another rope break, leaving her with just one remaining. Hikari was in the driver’s seat and was hitting arm drag after arm drag before going for the spinebuster… but Tara’s size wouldn’t allow her to do so then hit her with a Swinging Side Slam and a cover… but Hikari got her foot on the rope and both competitors are now at one rope break a piece. The contest lasted several more minutes until Hikari tried for the Shock Turn, only to get it turned into the Cabral Crossface! Hikari tried to get out of it but unfortunately had no choice but to tap out.
WINNER, AND STILL WWA JOSHI CHAMPION: “The Lioness” Tara Cabral via submission in 13:37!
Post Match: Once Tara was announced still the champion, Raven Crowe (accompanied by Eavan Maloney) came out and was face-to-face with the “Lioness” as the two engaged in a stare down with neither of them backing down ahead of their upcoming championship match as this edition of Knockout comes to a close.
