-The following is a dream Hana Brightly had the night before the Slamathon III Event, where she's scheduled to team with Mindy Alexandrov to face Scarlett Quinn and Lucas Silva.-

Diving into a pool of water, today our Pokemon journey begins with Hana Brightly from Pallet Town fulfilling her fan-service quota for the month. Her hair done to resemble the fins of the mighty Magikarp, her one-piece swimsuit tries to share the qualities of the beloved water-type Pokemon, red scales and all, as she kicks her feet gliding her way through the blue waves. It wasn't often that Hana gave herself the opportunities to relax but on warm summer's day like this one, she just couldn't help herself! It was a beautiful day and her journey had brought her to a small lake just off of Route 12.
Slowly surfacing from the water she sneakily kept an eye on the pier, a look of dastardly deeds expressed on her eyebrows as she kept everything below her nose submerged. Hana Brightly wasn't an evil person by any stretch of the imagination but her Pokemon, Mindimander, wasn't quite embracing the enjoyment of the beautiful day. See, Mindimander was a Charmander and as she tip-toed across the pier keeping ample sight of her flaring tail Hana Brightly kept her focus locked on, swimming slowly behind her readying herself for a surprise attack. "That's right Mindy," she thought to herself as menacing sweat marks made themselves known as Mindimander's head, "just bring yourself closer to the edge..."
Mindimander was doing her absolute best to be brave. Now hugging her tail, she thought that maybe if she just allowed herself to kiss the water with her feet she could grow more comfortable with the idea. Getting closer and closer to the edge of the pier, anticipation brewing as the vast blue sea grew larger, Mindy kept her attention focused on her small feet. The last thing she wanted to do was slip and slide and fall straight into the pool. That would be absolutely horrendous, a nightmare of all nightmares! "Char...man...der." Mindy began to count her steps out loud, hoping that her own voice would drown her nervousness. "Char...man...d--"
WATER GUN!
[/i][/color] [/center][/size]Smacking her cheeks forcing a gush of water to squarely hit Mindimander in the forehead Hana softly laughed as her Pokemon fell on her butt upon connection. "I gotcha! I gotcha good!" Mindimander was far from pleased as she shot a small fireball in Hana's direction forcing Hana to dive back into the water once more. Popping back up a few inches away she shot another squirt of water in Mindy's direction, again hitting her as frustration overcame her Pokemon. Throwing a small temper tantrum Mindimander sprung back up onto her feet a shot a larger fire ball, again missing Hana by just centimeters as she dove back into the water.
Looking around desperately, Mindimander spun in a warning circle, bracing herself for another squirt from her rarely mischievous trainer. Holding her hands in front of her, ready to block any sudden streams of water, Mindimander waited. Waited. Waited even longer, but nothing! Hana wasn't the most athletically gifted person, was it possible she could even hold her breath for this long? A small sense of worry overcame Mindimander as she brought down her shield and looked over the edge of the pier. Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Admittedly, she half-expected Hana to jump out of the water and squirt water point-blank at her face, but still, not a peep! Not even a small rustle within the waves of the water. Scurrying to the opposite side, Mindimander looked again, and still her trainer was mysteriously absent. "Charmander?"
"MWAHAHAHA! I THINK I'VE FINALLY DONE IT, LUCASAUR!" a voice boomed in the distance as a giant Snorlax-shaped mechanism looked to be sucking water from the lake. "Terrel Giovanni has searched eons for this, but the evidence of Pokemon-Human hybrids have finally come into fruition, all thanks to me! ME! SCARLETT OF THE SOON-TO-BE TEAM ROCKET ELITE!" The Snorlax-shaped robot than sat upwards revealing a net hanging from its mouth. Inside that net? A captured Hana Brightly complete in her Magikarp one-piece swimsuit squirming as she tried to kick herself out of the net. "This is my meal ticket! My name will forever be etched in the Team Rocket history books as the person who finally discovered such a marvelous discovery! Granted, it's just a lowly Magikarp hybrid, but just IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES LUCASAUR!"
"BULBASAUR!"
Team Rocket Grunt Scarlett, complete with her evilly black uniform, then picked up her Bulbasaur and danced with absolute glee, both sharing smiles from cheek-to-cheek as just thought of rising through the Team Rocket ranks was enough for them to be happy. "Do you understand what this could potentially mean Lucasaur? Our experiments at the Lake of Rage to force evolving Magikarp could potentially influence a new wave of human evolution!" Putting her Pokemon down she then walked over the robotized Snorlax and began to examine her discovery. Motioning for her Bulbasaur to take notes, her Pokemon immediately grabbed a pen and paper with his vines. A hand on her chin, Scarlett hums loudly as she looks Hana Brightly up and down, completely ignoring the fact that it was a woman in a swimsuit. "Further examination of the subject suggests that Pokemon-Human hybrids posses both gender charisti--"
WATER GUN!
[/i][/color] [/center][/size] Hana Brightly was saving it for her Charmander, but now just seemed like an opportune moment as she splashed water into the face of the evil Team Rocket member. Watching her broil with rage Hana stuck out her tongue and smiled, poking fun at the detail-orientated Rocket member. "You're so silly. I'm just a girl in a -"
"LUCASAUR, VINE WHIP IT NOW!" Pointing an dictating finger at Hana, Scarlett took a few steps away from the human Magikarp as she tried to wipe the water away from her eyes. Hana's attempt at a Water Gun also showed evidence on the "R" on her shirt, which only enraged Scarlett more. "And don't hold anything back!"
Throwing the pen and paper away in the distance Lucasaur, following orders, had a new sense of vigor in his eyes as he began to use his vines as weapons spanking a defenseless Hana Brightly. "BULBA! BULBASAAAAUR!"
The net providing absolutely no cushion, Hana could only hope that Mindimander was in earshot of the all the commotion. Shielding her thighs, allowing her arms to feel the impact of the vines' connections, she screamed for her Pokemon to come and save her. "MINDIMANDER! WHERE ARE YOU!?" Hana's day was far from relaxing now.
EMBER!
Just as Hana pleaded for her Pokemon to come save her, a ball of fire collided with the robotized Snorlax. The heat of the fireball burning the top of the net providing a chance for the captured Hana to escape. Luckily, Scarlett's boisterous voice had caught the attention of Mindimander the moment she began to laugh. Putting her fear of water behind her, Mindimander rushed with all her might to the scene, not even keeping mind of her footing as she allowed her sole purpose to save Hana overcome her attention. Now just within feet of Team Rocket, Mindimander went into a battle pose, smoke flaring from her nostrils as the heat of the moment provided her less of a chance to be afraid of the water that laid just below her. "Charmander! Char! Char!" Hoping that Hana would surface from the fall, Mindimander tried not to let her worry influence her actions as she stared down the no-longer whipping Bulbasaur.
"Oh?! Well isn't this grand! A wild Charmander coming to save this freak of nature, HAHA! You're lucky that I found some thing far more greater than a Charmander, otherwise I would be capturing you right at this very moment! LUCASAUR, GRAB IT!" Scarlett wasn't about to let her chance at being remembered for all eternity go to waste. Ordering her Bulbasaur to grab the submerged Magikarp hybrid with his vines, the Bulbasaur did just that as he lifted Hana out of the water with relative ease. "Toss it too me, Lucasaur! We dare not let another chance for it to escape!" Just like that, Hana was tossed into the arms of Scarlett, Scarlett shifting Hana's body so they were eye-level. Applying a rear wrist lock, and securing Hana's neck with her other arm, Scarlett slowly edged backwards, Lucasaur providing defense as he kept the Charmander within his sights.
"What are you doing?! Let me GO!" The last few moments for Hana had been an absolute whirlwind. First she was captured, then the robot exploded, and just when it felt like she was about to make her grand escape, she was forced and tossed out of the water like she was completely weightless! Even more so, the delusional Team Rocket member seemingly thought she was a major prize, the trophy of all her accomplishments, or lack their of. "I'm seriously not what you think I am--"
"Hush! LUCASAUR, let it known that Pokemon-Human hybrids can speak fluently in English! They seem to have an understand of the basic usage of sentence-constructing. They may try and talk their way out of capture! This could be why this evolutionary mystery has alluded us for so long!" Tugging tighter on the neck, Scarlett worked themselves closer and closer away from the pier. Lucasaur keeping a mental note of his master's findings as he kept his vines out, readying himself for any sort of offensive maneuver the Charmander may take.
"Mindi...mand..." Hana could see that her beloved Charmander was just feet away. The forceful strain on her neck making it difficult to speak. Trying to force some leverage between Scarlett's arm and her neck, she began to use her free hand to try and apply pressure beneath the elbow. "I'm...not...some...experiment!" She could feel she was succeeding! Scarlett's arm moving closer and closer to her mouth, Hana decided to take the best option possible! Opening her mouth wide she took a gigantic bite into the arm of Scarlett, forcing her to drop her holds to mend to her injuries.
"LUCASAUR, LET BE KNOWN THAT, GAH NEVER MIND, GRAB IT, QUICKLY!"
Unknowing what was exactly happening behind him, Lucasaur turned his attention back to the scurrying Hana Brightly, turning it away from Charmander. Vines already out, they darted for the running Hana, but before Lucasaur could even grab hold of her again stream of fire interrupted it. BULBA!" The fire only angered him as again he shifted focus. Burying a foot into the ground, Lucasaur began to stomp, wanting the Charmander to try burning his precious vines again. "SAUR! BULBASAUR!"
"Char, Charmander!" confidence brewing, Mindimander quickly ran towards Hana and got in front of her, protecting her from any more feeble attempts at her capture. Smirking, she watched as the Bulbasaur invited her to attack. "Charmander!' Waiting for an order from her trainer, Mindimander kept her guard as she kept her arms extended providing just a bit more of a barrier for Hana.
Taking a moment to catch her breath, Hana watched as Mindimander brought herself between her and the evil Team Rocket. This was supposed to be a relaxing, cool, carefree day! Instead, it turned into something completely sour. Knowing that Mindy was waiting for a plan of action, Hana quickly stood up straight and for the first time took notice of her surroundings. Water was directly behind and in front of them, definitely not the ideal choice of surroundings for a fire-typed Pokemon. Even more so, she wasn't about to let the fact that Mindy seemed absolutely fearless be ignored by her, though she probably shouldn't mention it right away. "Okay! Mindimander! Start off with a flaring Ember!"
"YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS?! It's a trainer!? This has to be a law against nature, Pokemon cannot be trainers for other Pokemon! That's ridiculous!" Team Rocket Scarlett shaking off the bite needed to capture the Magikarp hybrid, and she wasn't about to let some silly Charmander get in her way! "Lucasaur, end this quickly. Toss that Charmander into the drink!"
Battle music begins to fill the ears of both rivals as Bulbasaur quickly goes first on the offensive. Vines fully extended they go straight for the Charmander, aiming to clutch by her by the legs and quickly toss her into the lake. However, Charmander quick on her feet. Twirling, leaping, and barely managing avoid each attempt, Charmander quickly found herself in the face of Bulbasaur. Sucking in a breath of oxygen, heat then envelops her throat as she lets out of a flaring Ember, point-blank into the face of Bulbasaur! "CHARMANDEEER!"
IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!
"BULBASAAAAAAAAUR!" he screams as the super effective connection reels him backward. Dropping his vines into the ground, he anchors himself before falling into the lake himself. Shaking his head, Bulbasaur tries to shake off the hit, but the Ember's super effective qualities left its mark as he could still feel burning sensations still present on his forehead. "Bulba!
"GAH! C'MON LUCASAUR! The promotion, PROMOTION! You'd be the Pokemon of an elite member of Team Rocket! I'll get a code-name! Put that Charmander to sleep with Sleep Powder!"
"Great job Mindimander! You're doing absolutely wonderful out there, keep it going with another blast of Ember!"
"Char, char!" Running towards Bulbasaur again, Charmander charges at full speed ready to unleash another ball of fire into the face of her target. This time Bulbasaur seems ready though. Closer and closer, Charmander begins to suck in another breath of oxygen, already feeling the fumes of an upcoming Ember attack! However, Bulbasaur uses this to his advantage. Smirking, Bulbasaur then violently rattles his bulb as pink powder begins to surround him. Instantly Charmander is hit with drowsiness, the Sleep Powder already having its effect. Before she could unleash her Ember she falls straight on her face, smoke puffing out of her nostrils.
Taking a moment to pose, Bulbasaur holds his head up proudly and does a little strut as he walks to the fatigued Charmander. "Bulba, bulba, bulbasaur!" Vines extended once again, Bulbasaur then proceedingly begins to play with Charmander, whipping her with immense force. "BULBASAUR!" he screams proudly as he begins to wrap his vines around her legs and lift her into the air, much like he did to Hana Brightly just moments prior. "Saur, saur, saur, saur," he laughs as he walks to the edge of the pier and dangles Charmander over he water.
"NO! MINDIMANDER, SNAP OUT OF IT!" With eyes wide open, Hana watched as Bulbasaur slowly unwrapped its vines, allowing Mindimander to fall into the depths of the lake. Leaping into to save her, Hana's foot is then grasped by a now free vine as she's reluctantly separated from her Pokemon. "MINDY! NO, NO! MINDY!"

"No, no...Mindy, no!" Kicking her legs violently, Hana Brightly suddenly sits upright, the comfort of her own bedroom settling her down as she could feel her heart racing to its absolute beats. "Mindy..." Looking upward, Hana then runs both her hands through her hair and takes a deep breath. It felt so real. Collapsing backwards, hands outstretched, her right hand touches her counter, landing on her pink Nintendo DS. Closing her eyes she smiles at her stupidity as she picks it up and brings it towards her face. "Midnight gaming...probably not the best idea." The battle music from a Pokemon trainer battle still playing, she swiftly turns the game off before sliding out of bed, not bothering to save. She was just hours away from her Premium Championship Wrestling debut, Hana Brightly had more important things to focus on than her Pokemon FireRed save. "Definitely not going to allow Scarlett and Lucas beat us this time! PCW, I CHALLENGE YOU TO A POKEMON BATTLE!"
