The scene opens up in what looks like a deserted neighborhood on the outskirts of Los Angeles, California. Brian Spencer the Third is sitting on a curb out in front of a rundown house. The house has clearly been vacated for years. The house is a decent size along with a lot of the homes in the area but has not been kept up for quite some time. The front of the house has a siding that is either all of the way off or just hanging on by a thread along with stripped wood on the front door. Windows are either cracked or shattered. Inside you can see furniture that is ripped and just left to rot. The tenants on the home must have left abruptly as they took nothing with them. The camera pans back out to put Brian Spencer the Third back in view as he sits there looking around the neighborhood with little emotion. He looks back at the worn out asphalt beneath his feet and then back up at the camera. He is wearing some nice jeans with a designer t-shirt. He has sunglasses hanging on the front of his t-shirt and he puts them on just as the sun starts to poke back through the clouds. He is sitting there for a moment in silence before looking back up and ready to speak.
Brian Spencer the Third: On June 23rd, 2011 it will have been exactly three years since my parents lived in this exact home that sits behind me. On that night I got a chance to showcase myself to the wrestling world when I wrestled for a small promotion trying to get my name out there. Plenty of scouts were in attendance for a lot of different companies. That night my parents sent me an email after trying to contact me through my phone with no response for me. I read the email and they said they were sorry for my childhood and a whole bunch of apologies. They wanted to make it up to me by supporting me in my future opportunities so they told me that they were going to attend my wrestling match that evening. I did not respond to that email. I have not talked to my parents since I left the house the day after I turned eighteen years old. They did not deserve me in their life after the way they treated me as a subordinate and they tried to push me in the direction of a real profession such as teaching or engineering. They did not support me in any way, shape, or form when I was younger and now they all of a sudden changed their mind? That’s not how it works in life, but I can’t stop them from attending so that is their choice.
Brian Spencer the Third looks down at the asphalt once again still showing very little emotion. He stares back into the camera again and continues.
They never made it to that show that night. They died on impact in a car crash when a drunk driver swerved into the opposing lane and hit my parents head on and you want to know something. They should have supported me when they had the chance. It is a little something called karma and it came into play here didn’t it? You see, when I left my parents house the day after I turned eighteen, I knew I was something great. In fact I knew I would make it in the wrestling industry but my parents did not know nor did they have any faith in me. Simply put, they told me it was lost cause. I wonder if they were still alive today, that maybe they would have realized I was the smartest in the house. My parents never did well in school. They never amounted to anything in their lives. Look at it this way, my mom did not work and my dad owned his own carpentry business. Guess what, it does not take an ounce of intelligence to be a carpenter or a housewife. I was the only one in that household that could do what I wanted and had the intelligence and reasoning to back it up and I have not lost any of it.
For the past three years, I have been constantly asked about my feelings towards the death of my parents and stuff like that. I have one response to all of that. I simply do not care. Why should I show any sort of sympathy or emotion towards something that benefited me in not one way in my life. They do not deserve an ounce of caring from anyone, especially me. Now I know that people show up at their grave sites quite often crying and mourning their death. They give flowers to set next to their tombstone. My parent’s relatives are there all of the time when I drive past the cemetery but not once has their son ever visited their grave. They simply do not deserve any sign of respect from me. Now enough of this stuff. I know people are watching me right now and questioning my attitude and my lack of a heart. Let those people say stuff, because it will not affect me one bit. In fact I have other things to focus on such as my debut this week in FCW. The people that I am facing are probably wondering why I am talking about my dead parents like that and probably are looking for a point or moral to this story. That is completely fine and you will get an answer to your question eventually but now is not that time. Now I have to express even more disgust in people, more specifically the people I am stuck wrestling in my debut match on FCW.
Brian Spencer the Third looks around the neighborhood as he gets ready to address his opponents for his debut match in FCW. He has probably already gained a lot of negatives comments on him but at this point he does not care. He has a job to do and that is what he is focused on doing.
Before I came out here today, I happened to catch some tapes for my match this week and to say the least, I was not impressed. Before I even talk about my opponents and how much more useless they are than my parents, I just need to get something off of my chest. Hardkore World is a thing of the past and it was not a credible company to begin with. I know a lot of people in FCW are Hardkore World alum, I guess is the right term but this is not Hardkore World. That goes for you Syberus. I do not care what you did in that company nor does anyone else in this company. You just use that company as a way to make yourself look better. You see, I am not dumb and I have no doubt you actually won all of these championships you claim you have won, but that does not mean you are some sort of wrestling icon now. I could open up a company, hire a bunch of nobodies and beat them and say my record is one hundred wins to zero losses but that does not make me a good wrestler. That is essentially what you have done just you did not win one hundred matches with no losses. You beat a bunch of nobodies for those titles. And you hold those achievements high above your head as if we are to bow down to you or something. Look Syberus, I do not care what you have done in other companies. I do not care what you say you are going to do either. That is all in the past so it is all irrelevant here.
Syberus, my parents showed absolutely no respect for me when I was younger. They had no faith in me that I would make it as a professional wrestler and here I am. I made it and look at where they are right now… dead, yet people still show them respect that they do not deserve. Now I am not saying you will die because you are not showing me any respect, but what I am saying is that people who do not respect me and people who do not see the raw talent I possess, don’t get very far. I do not care what you say but you have yet to do a thing in this business worth talking about. You can talk all you want, saying that you do not want to hurt us. All you want to do is win. Good Syberus, I am glad that is all you want to do because just like the hope that my parents for seeing me wrestle when they realized I was becoming great, it won’t even come close to happening. You do not have a chance Syberus, so go reopen Hardkore World and win ten more championships if you would like. Get all of the attention you need for someone with an IQ below twelve. The fact of the matter is, I am smarter than the people from Hardkore World so I will not buy into all of this hype people give you. I know you aren’t as good as people say. Good luck.
Brian Spencer the Third gets up from the curb he was sitting on and kicks some dirt towards his childhood home as he begins to walk down the street. The camera follows him as Brian Spencer the Third is not finished.
I know you are not the only other person in the match though, Syberus. There are three other people in the match as well that are barely worth mentioning. We have an oriental who I am sure is no better at wrestling than they are at running a country. It is obvious May Shen has no chance here in this match but hey, you have to give her credit for trying right? Nick Donald, is even more of a nobody. I have never heard of that name nor do I really care to be honest with everyone. Let him show up to the match with an inclination of winning, it won’t pay off. Now you two are pretty funny and all and have essentially a zero percent chance of winning but Reaper, now he is a scary one. Showing up the arena a week early just to describe his body features. Thank you for showing up a week early. I really mean it from the bottom of my heart. I mean how else would I know that you are six feet three inches tall. That is not even the best part. The best part is that you are around two hundred and sixty pounds. You don’t know your own weight? It sounded like you were just guesstimating there. Whatever the case may be, I am glad you are happy to start your first match here in FCW. It must be an honor for you. What better way to start off your wrestling career with a notch in the loss column with the winner being Brian Spencer the Third. Believe me, it is a good thing.
Brian Spencer the Third continues walking down the road through the abandoned neighborhood. He stops for a bit and looks into the camera to make sure he is garnering the full attention of his opponents and everyone watching.
You see, three years ago tomorrow, my wrestling career truly began and ironically my parents died that day. Sunday, I am opening a new chapter in my wrestling career in a way. When I step into that ring before the show goes on air and you four are across the ring from me, you will be indifferent. You will be in awe of such a talent in front of you but then you will be scared and discouraged in a way because let’s be honest, no one likes losing the first match, right? Hopefully you guys will learn before it is too late that I deserve respect because if not, you just might end up like my parents in a grave way before your time had come. That would be bad, wouldn’t it? To avoid all of this, just realize who you are facing on Sunday because if you don’t realize it beforehand, you will be sure to remember it afterwards.
Brian Spencer the Third walks away as he motions for the cameraman to stay where he is as the scene begins to fade out.
