Sample RP (Required): This is from my character, Jakob Alexander, over at THW. With this bunch of rp's, I won my first championship there.
Opening up in rainy Enon, Ohio, the camera has rain drops on it. The cameraman keeps wiping it off but to no avail. He is walking down a sidewalk next to what look likes a high school. A man walks on the opposite sidewalk and reaches the doors before himself. Escaping the pouring rain, the cameraman wipes off his lense one final time and the man is identified as Jakob Alexander. Upon observation, the high school is identified as Greenon High School. Jakob is sporting some kind of jersey, number 20. Walking into the lobby, a man stands with his arms at his sides. Jakob spots him and both men greet each other with a handshake.
Jakob Alexander: Coach Stevens, it's been too long. How've you been? better yet, How has my defense been holding up?
Coach Stevens: The defense is our main concern every year. You know this school's football team is known for its brick wall like defense. Our players get their motivation and inspiration from the same guy every year.
Nodding to his left, Jakob turns and comes face to face with himself...in poster form. A poster is framed and mounted on the wall and it pictures himself in his senior year wearing the black and white of the Greenon Knights. Number 20 stands proud in the lobby of his former high school. Jakob turns back to his former coach.
Jakob Alexander: It makes me proud to know that every year, your players get their motivation from a guy who went here a good 12 years ago. I must have left one hell of an impression.
Coach Stevens: That you did. Leading the Greenon Knights to a championship by playing defensively left a mark that will never be erased. I will also remind you that your senior year was the last title we've won. I called you here for one reason tonight. Our players have looked up to you and dedicated every game to you since that night that we won that title and tonight, We are back in that title game. My thoughts are that nothing would give them the motivation to stomp a mudhole in Tecumseh's asses then to have you on the sidelines. keep in mind that your answer right now may make the difference between winning and losing tonight.
Jakob Alexander: Of course Coach Stevens, I'll light a fire under their asses like no other. What time do you hold your pre-game pep talk?
Coach Stevens: Around Six thirty tonight. Also, I have two presents for you. One of them being verbal. In honor of your win all those years ago, I would like you to be our honorary defensive coodinator tonight.
Jakob just smiles and nods as Coach Stevens smiles.
Coach Stevens: I also have something to give you.
Stevens bends down and picks up a gray box and hands it to Jakob. Jakob takes the box and opens it up, revealing a black and white football jersey. He takes it out and drops the box. It looks worn out and old but is still in good condition. Jakob turns it around and His eyes widen up. On the back reads "Alexander" and the number is 20.
Jakob Alexander: I cannot believe you kept this after all these years. Do you know how many people are going to blow their tops when I walk out of that tunnel? That whole stadium is going to blow up. I will be there, six thirty sharp.
Jakob drapes his jersey over his shoulder and the two men share a handshake. The camera feed cuts as Jakob exits the school.
The scene opens back up to show the entire Greenon Knight football team kneeling in front of their head coach, Brian Stevens. A mild chatter begins and Stevens quiets them down.
Coach Stevens: Alright guys. You've worked all year for this. This one day, the most important day out of this whole year for you guys and I know you will all do your best to bring home that title. A title that has eluded this school for over a decade. You've played hard. You've shed blood, sweat and tears to get here and we will make the most of it. I have my own way of guaruanteeing victory, however. I have brought somebody in to give you all a little extra motivation to go out there and win. You all know his name, I can promise you that. I present to you, Strong Safety, number 20, Jakob Alexander.
Right on cue, Jakob walks into the locker room wearing his number 20 jersey, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of black sneakers. The football players stare and gaze in awe at the mere presence of the last man to bring home that title to his school.
Jakob Alexander: Thank you Coach Stevens, for bringing me in and having me give these talented players something to play for. This national title has eluded this school for over a decade and there is somethin funny about that story. Over a decade ago, I led this team to a national title. Over a decade ago, this school produced one of, if not the best, Strong Safety in school history and I believe this whole team can work together and bring that title home again. I want all of you to pay attention very closely.
Jakob points at the poster of himself on the wall behind him and begins speaking.
Jakob Alexander: Today Gentlemen, I am honored to coach you. More honored am I to lead you onto the field of battle. There is another honor to be bestowed upon you. That is the answer that comes with this question...Who am I?
Players: I AM A CHAMPION!
Jakob Alexander: That's right and I want you to remember that all through this game. I will conquer what has not been conquered. Defeat will not be in my creed. I will believe what others have doubted. I will always endeavor the prestige, honor and the respect of my team. I have trained my mind and my body will follow. Who Am I?
Players: I AM A CHAMPION!
Jakob Alexander: I will acknoledge the fact that my opponent does not expect me to win but I will never surrender. Weakness will not be in my heart. I will look to my comrades and to those that have brought me into this world and to those that have trained me and I will draw strength from them. Who am I?
Players: I AM A CHAMPION!
Jakob is speaking very loudly now. A THW cameraman has set up near the door to the locker room and is recording this for the THW website.
Jakob Alexander: I will glady go out into the field of battle and I will move, groove, and everything I can do and I will reach my field of battle at any means at my disposal. When I get there, I will arrive violently. I will rip the heart from my enemy and leave it bleeding on the ground because He cannot stop me. WHO AM I?
Players: I AM A CHAMPION!
Jakob Alexander:To my side, I have comrades. Comrades that have been with me through thick and thin. Through sacrifice, through blood, through sweat, and through tears. Never will I let them fall, Never will I let them down and I will never leave an enemy behind because my opponent does not know my heart. Who am I?
Players: I AM A CHAMPION!
Jakob Alexander: No one will deny me. No one will defy me and no one will tell who and what I am and can be. Belief will change my world. It has moved continents, countries, and it has put man on the moon and it will carry me through this battle. Who am I?
Players: I AM A CHAMPION!
Jakob Alexander: Defeat, retreat, those are not in my words. I do not understand those definitions. I do not understand when things go wrong. I do not understand mistakes but I do understand this. I understand victory and I understand never surrendering. No matter how bad things get, My heart and my mind will carry my body when my limbs are too weak. Who am I?
Players: I AM A CHAMPION!
Jakob Alexander: Today will be that day. No tommorow, not next week but right now, right here. In your house and in your home. Who am I?
Players:(Shouting loudly) I AM A CHAMPION!
Jakob Alexander: History will remember me and I will not have to worry about him not being kind. I will define myself. I will write my own praises and no one will tell me what I can and cannot be. I will never go home, not without giving everything I've got because WHO AM I?
Jakob and the whole entire Greenon football team because shouting " I am a champion" and after a few times saying it, The whole team and the two coaches, Stevens and Jakob follow behind them as they run out of the tunnel leading to the field. Steven stops Jakob.
Coach Stevens: Jakob, hold on. I'm going to have the broadcast team announce you. You'll know when to come out.
Stevens runs out ot the field and joins his players as the broadcasting team begins naming them off.
Broadcasters: Hello Knights fans. Welcome to the national championship game. First off, starting at Quarterback, number 7, Braden Storck!
Number 7 begins jumping up and down, getting the crowd going.
Broadcasters: Starting at Halfback, number 25, Sebastian Connor!
The halfback begins fist pumping with the crowd, riling them up even more. Before they can announcing the starting Wide recievers, Coach Stevens stops them and hands them a piece of paper and a cd. The broadcasters go wide eyed just as the players did when told the news.
Broadcasters: Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a special guest with us here tonight. He used to play for the Knights many years ago.
They pop in the cd and "Sick" by Adelitas Way begins to play over the speakers.
Broadcasters: He started at Strong Safety and led the Knights to a national title win 12 years ago. Number 20, Jakob Alexander!
At the mere mention of the number 20, the crowd went nuts and when Jakob actually jogged out and stood at mid field, the noise was deafening. Jakob flexed his right arm and begin stomping the field as a reporter covering the game jogged up to him. Jakob simply snatched the mic from him and begin pacing around.
Jakob Alexander: These were MY stomping grounds about 12 years ago. I led the Knights to a national title and tonight, I'm here to do it again only this time, as the honorary defensive coordinator!
The crowd go bonkers as Jakob tosses the mic back to the reporter and takes his place on the sidelines.
Jakob has a headset on and is pacing up and down the sidelines. The Knights are on defense with about five seconds left in the fourth and the opposite team is on the 15 yard line. The quarterback hikes the ball and dumps it left to the halfback who runs into the Cornerback, shakes him off and tries to juke the Strong Safety, who's number is 20. He gets by but just barely. However, the Safety wraps his arms around the backs mid-section and german suplexes him. The clock has run out, ending the game 27-24, Greenon Knights. The stadium blows up. Jakob throws his headset and leaps onto the piling of players, celebrating with everyone else. Angelica Romero fights her way through the bodies and pulls Jakob aside.
Angelica Romero: Jakob, it's time to shoot a promo for your match with Keegan. Is there anywhere you would prefer to shoot it at?
All the people have stopped cheering and are watching the two.
Jakob Alexander: Right here is perfect. The time has come Keegan. Nocturnal Nightmare is here, are you ready? I'm not sure you are. Before I start though, let me just share something with you. Before you go spouting off about me losing two days ago to John Ojeda, Lets take a look at the difference between my opponent and your opponent. You faced Connor Edwards, who rightfully smacked you around the ring like a cheap whore. I faced John Ojeda. Sure, I don't respect him as a person. He's quite the douche actually but as much as I hate it, the man can fight. He fought me at my near best and we had a slobber knocker. It came down to whoever had the will to pull out the win and since I had already locked in my shot at MY belt, I obviously didn't exert myself as much as He did. He won, but, My pride is still intact. Is yours? You got bitch slapped by a no talent can like Connor Edwards. I'm pretty sure you have more explaining to do then I do. Anyways, as I was saying, Keegan, the time has come to put up or shut up. I already know which one you are going to choose and I can't say I'm suprised. As Much as I dislike the fans that cheer me during Evolution, that is one thing I have that you do not. I have people who believe in me. These people all around me have my back and believe I can do anything and so do I. These people also believe that I should have won at Oblivion and that you are holding MY title around your waist. Sure, it says you're the champion on the website and on the belt but we both know who the rightful champ is. You should just hand me that belt at Nocturnal Nightmare and we'll call it even. This is more like a title defense then anything else anyway. I mean, you keep getting lucky over and over again but sooner then later, your luck is going to run out. That day is on tuesday. You've ducked me long enough. As much as I'm pissed at Ryan Dangerous for not making this a Last Man Standing match, I'm kind of happy He didn't. Why? Because I would win by default. You aren't a man. You just have a little slab of meat hanging between your legs where balls should be hanging. I'm not going to let this go on much longer though. Why ruin a perfectly good night by talking about you? Just be thankful that Nocturnal Nightmare isn't being held in Enon or I'm afraid the whole town would be booked for murder. I'll let you respond to this anyway you please but remember Keegan. You cannot stop me. I bid farewell to your bitch ass with one final saying.
The whole football stadium shout "FUCK YOU!" at the same time as Jakob holds his arms out in a Raven-esqe type of taunt as the camera feed cuts.
