[The crackling and snapping of a blazing fire can be heard, the fire forming a circle in a large clearing of a forest. Jay Thunder stands mid-circle, donning an angel-white hoodie with his signature loose-fitting shorts and boots. The hood is pulled over almost every inch of his face, what is left exposed being mainly his nose and his lips. He looks down at the ground below, standing as still as a statue.]
Jay Thunder : I'm back again, the second time in less than a week... I feel I didn't get my point across in my last little dialogue here...
[He looks up, eyes still covered by the hoodie as the fire burns around him. Sparks from the inferno jump and dance around, high into the air.]
Jay Thunder : This time around, I'm forgetting that Marina Valdivia ever existed in the Premium Land... I'm focusing mainly on the big prize, the Struggle For Power Battlefield Match. The winner earning themselves a PCW World Heavyweight Championship match at the “Place where Legends are Born,” Battle Finale III.
[The camera angle changes, showing half of Jay's face illuminated by the fire and moonlight mixed, the other half pitch-dark.]
Jay Thunder : Ever since my first match against Adrien Cochrane and the other guy nobody remembers, I've watched everyone in PCW around me rise as I have. Make history as I have. I've followed a path to the top of the fittingly-named “mountain” that has been compared to that of one Mariano Fernandez. It flatters me to even be mentioned alongside such a legend. The longest-reigning PCW World Heavyweight Champion, the kindest gentleman you'll ever meet, and other things have cemented him smack-dab into the PCW Hall of Fame, a place I wish to be in one day.
[He sits down Indian-style in the middle of the raging inferno around him.]
Jay Thunder : And he's been authorized entrance into the Battlefield. It's going to be in an honor to meet him, should it come down to such. Mariano Fernandez Cuzzocrea, I'll see you at Battle Finale III. Good luck, White Knight.
[His exposed lips smile a bit, and he continues.]
Jay Thunder : Alongside that legend, I will be in ring with the likes of Danielle Lopez, Syn, and Ryan “The Reaper” Robinson. I respect each of these three people, and I believe they have done great things in PCW thus far, Danielle Lopez being the longest reigning PCW Broadcast Champion.
[He slowly pulls back the hood from his head, drooping it limply behind his head. His chocolate-brown hair sits, slightly messy, atop his head, his icy-blue eyes complimenting everything perfectly.]
Jay Thunder : Now, before I get into the next competitors, I have to say this; I respect everyone in PCW who I think has earned it. Those who have earned it have been named already, but there's a few I see stepping into this match that I have almost no respect for. One of those being Draven Logan Kennedy... You look at his record since the return of PCW, and what has he done? Sure, he's won the Platinum Championship, but he also lost it a good while ago. He's being handed these opportunities by management, but what has he done since his return? People like Danielle, Ryan, and I... We've EARNED our place in this match. Danielle, like I previously stated, was the longest-reigning Broadcast Champion, Ryan has been improving as much as I have here, and I've won the PCW World Tag Team Championships twice in about seven months. I've got three matches at this pay-per-view, and I intend to record three more wins.
Jay Thunder : Honestly, he's the only one I believe hasn't earned his spot here. All of the rookies, the “nobodies,” they've earned their spot by being here. This is their chance to hit it big, like the rest of us. Before any of them think I'm ranting on them, I'm not. I am still a rookie myself here, believe it or not. But there's one specific man I see in this match that I feel is my toughest challenge... Magnus Thunder. A legend according to management. He's been in the business almost as long as I've been. I respect this man, and I know he won't let me into that winner's circle without a big fight. I'm ready for it, don't forget that. Underestimate me and you WILL pay for it. I've proven myself in matches like this before. Example being Honor Role 4, the Extreme Battle Royale. I finished second, but I would have finished on top if it hadn't been for Jakob Alexander. Now, I forgive him for that shit, I realize that wasn't the real him, but I won't give him any mercy in this match. This is the match where history is written, where it's all set in stone, for Battle Finale. I intend to walk out of here the winner, with the Broadcast AND Tag Championships slung happily over my shoulder.
[He stands up, and begins walking through the flames, unscathed, to the outside of the ring.]
Jay Thunder : Everyone in this match, watch out for the Dark Horse to ride in and leave the ring littered with the souls of those who get in my way. Good or bad, it's on. Adrien Cochrane, I'll see you at Battle Finale III. It's gonna be a show-stopper.
[With that, the camera starts to freak out, static and distortion going across it before it shuts off.]
