Hey guys. Some of you may know me as only being a judge for PCW RP's and with my ever so harsh critique on some of them, but here, I'm going to try and bring some magic into this section. I know at least one of you has heard of the fictional promotion LPW (if I remember correctly by searching through the archives. Reaper used the promotion in one of his past PCW RP's). LPW was something I thought up many years ago as a way to enhance my own characters. It was never an actual e-fed. Why it still sort of lives today? It was one of those things where it got bigger than I had imagined. Even to the point where five years ago, I created my own women's fed Ladies Extreme Wrestling (LEW) as a spin-off to LPW to moderate success (obviously it doesn't run anymore). So I figured with me being far removed from the RP game to the point where I wouldn't consider doing it again. I would present the concept I hold near and dear to me...to all of you.
Note: A lot of the characters in LPW are characters from many years back. The newer characters that are in there that may or may not be familiar, I received permission to put them in. If you want any of your characters in, shoot me a PM with some details and I will be sure to add them in. Can't promise on when new episodes will be posted, but they will be posted when I have completed it and when I get the time. And I'm also not planning on going through my files and get ALL of the episodes up as I don't have the time and luxury to find them and do that since there's so many of them I have. Maybe one day I'll do it but not anytime soon.
Backstory: Latin Pro Wrestling is a federation that began in 1996 by huge Lucha Libre fanatic Dee Bruce. Dee moved to Mexico in hopes of getting away from the hectic problems that were happening in America. With the majority of her money, she created LPW in hopes of providing the Mexican wrestling scene with an exciting company that places an emphasis on not just the famed Lucha Libre style, but also others like Technical, Brawling, Joshi and any other style of the wrestling business. Little did she know and expect that business would quickly boom for the young company. Within two years time, LPW became the hottest thing in Mexico but their future was in jeopardy as Dee was injured in a car accident and nobody was sure what she would do going forward. But Dee recovered and continued to run the promotion independently. In 2006, they rebounded nicely and got a major television deal on Televisa and haven't looked back. LPW has been the home to highly decorated Mexican stars like The Ortiz Family, Alberto Ramirez, El Grand Nacho and Pedro Ramirez, while highly famed foreign stars like Morgan Simmons, Danielle Lopez, J.T. Banks and Ryan "The Reaper" Robinson also work for the company when they're not tearing it up in PCW.
