CWC is proud to announce the relaunching of another tool in it's e-bag.
Moving forward, all CWC wrestlers in member federations will be rated based on their win and loss records in their home feds. By ranking based solely on wins, losses and titles, and not on a "power ranking" system, this takes any hint of bias out of the equation, as the wrestler's actions in their own feds are what affects them being able to move up and down the ranking. With that, we have already taken current rosters, and added in wins and losses from the most recent show in each federation.
I would like to announce that heading up this project for us, and newest addition to the CWC Staff, is EFK's own Johnny Rebel. Johnny has fostered a life-long interest in stats and statistics, acquiring his doctorate from Cambridge in Statistics, with his thesis on "Battle Royals, only one win, or many?"
We thank Johnny in heading up this endeavor and ask that all CWC members and member federations help him as best they can moving forward.
HOW DO THE RANKINGS WORK?
- Each win gives a wrestler a +1
- Each loss gives a wrestler a -1
- Each PPV win gives a wrestler a +2
- Each PPV loss gives a wrestler a -2
- Holdings of secondary singles and tag-team titles gives a +3
- Holdings of a primary fed title gives a +5
- Holding of secondary CWC titles gives a +3
- Holding of a primary CWC title gives a +5
- No Contests, Count Outs and Losses in Battle Royals and Gauntlets will be a 0
Top 30 of all feds put together each week will be published, with access to full fed rankings via spreadsheet as well.
Full statistics can be found moving forward on the forums of CWC, located at www.wearecwc.com, on the section entitled "CWC E-Wrestler Rankings."
All CWC Fed-Heads are asked to kindly pop in on the Fed-Head sections of the boards, to gather further communication on rankings moving forward.
