Slamathon IV was a historic night.
From Ryan "The Reaper" Robinson winning the Platinum Championship to Danielle Lopez finally winning the big one, Team Lethality had one of the best nights in the history of the group.
Someone that didn't have a good night, however, was Draven Logan Kennedy.
You see, the sins that DLK has committed over the years finally caught up with him, as the masked man revealed himself to be Israel Steele. And worse than that, the two people that he partnered with were in on the whole thing.
With that in mind we find Derek Jacobs standing in a field. Surrounding him is the rubble of a once-strong building, which has been reduced to piles of nothingness. Derek picks up some of the rubble and begins to speak.
Derek: They say that pride comes before the fall, Draven. And now I think no one else understands that as well as you do. How does it feel to have your Dark Apocalypse, and everything else you've stood for crumble all around you? How does it feel to know that I'm always one step ahead of you? Let me let you in on a little secret, Draven. The masked man? The sneak attacks on myself, Crystal Alvarez and all the others?
We were in on it the whole time.
Someone needed to teach you a lesson, Kennedy. And who better than Israel Steele, a ghost of your past that has come back to haunt you once more. I said that this wasn't over, and now you know that I'm absolutely right.
But now onto more pressing issues. It has been brought to my attention that my opponent this week is Dante Daevain. Now Dante's a guy that's had some good success here in PCW, being a former world tag team champion and all, and hell recently he almost won the Scars of Wrestling cup!
But you see the truth of the matter is that he's not as hungry as I am.
The success he's had is the exact opposite of me. Since I've been back in PCW, I've only won one match, and that was against the biggest jobber on earth.
I'm hungry, Dante. And while I respect your accomplishments, that won't stop me from feasting on you this coming Rapture. I'm gonna tear you limb from limb, but don't worry. It's just business.
I want every single PCW wrestler to watch this match. This is your notice. Dr. Pain is hungry. For violence, chaos and destruction.
And he's about to be fed.
Bank on that.
