(Scene One: Team Lethality locker room.)
Here I am backstage at Rapture, walking to the Team Lethality locker room, just moments after the ending of the show. My signature golf club is in my right hand and the PCW Platinum Championship is on my left shoulder. I'm somewhat confused as to why Yoshiru Long sacrificed himself to save me from taking a big boot to the face, but I'm also extremely happy about my win over Curtis Wilkes which is with no doubt the biggest and most difficult win in my career. I eventually get to the Team Lethality locker room, open the door and walk in to see my cousin TJ Parks, and my long time friend Tom Pendergrass sitting in chairs. They get up and give me a fist bump and a hug.
TJ: Dude, you did it. You fucking did it. You defeated Curtis Wilkes, something a lot of people didn't think you could do. Just like they didn't think you could take the Platinum title from Jerry Matthews, but you did it, and we knew you could! Congratulations!
Tom: Hell yeah! There is no one the Reaper can't defeat!
TJ: Well. You could be right, Tom, but Reaper hasn't faced Danielle yet.
Reaper: I would actually like to face Danielle one of these days.
Tom: Would be a damn good match. You two would tear the fucking house down.
Reaper: Indeed.
I look around, and notice We're the only three in the room. Which is a tad different. Usually everyone including Desiree is in this room by the end of the show.
Reaper: Where is everyone else?
Tom: Danielle and Talia are in the trainer's room getting looked at for their injuries, Desiree went off somewhere with Kev, Aurora is with Alexis and I'm not exactly sure where Izzy is.
Reaper: Ah. Alright. I was just wondering. Everyone is usually in the locker room at this time. I understand that we don't ALWAYS like to stay in here though.
TJ: From what the boss lady tells us, Izzy is probably out there eating all the fucking food at catering.
Tom: ... DAMMIT!
Reaper: What's wrong?
Tom: I knew that's what I was forgetting. Fuck it, we can grab some food on the way to the hotel.
TJ: Good idea. We also need to get back to the hotel as well.
Reaper: I take it we have training tomorrow?
TJ: You know it.
Reaper: Alright. I'll catch up with you guys. I'm going to call Bella, then take a shower.
Tom: You have fun with that man, we'll either be checking on Talia and the boss, or in the parking lot doing whatever.
Tom and TJ leave the room and I sit in a chair before taking my cell phone out of my bag and calling Bella. It rings twice and she answers.
Bella: Hello!?
Reaper: Hey babe.
Bella: Hey baby! I just watched your match! You defeated Curtis Wilkes! I'm so happy for you! I knew you could do it!
Reaper: Thank you, babe.
Bella: You're welcome. I'm kind of wondering something though.
Reaper: What would that be?
Bella: What's up with Yoshiru Long saving you? You haven't secretly joined the Elite behind everyone's back or something have you!?
Reaper: No sweetheart. I haven't. You know I would never do that.
Bella: Hehe. Indeed, babe. I was just making sure, but who the hell is that unknown person who tried to attack you and Danielle?
Reaper: He actually took out Leon and attacked Yoshiru. I think I may know who this guy is, but I'm not going to say anything. I could be wrong.
Bella: Awww. Is my Reaper afraid he might sound stupid if he guesses the wrong person?
Reaper: Perhaps I am. Not going to lie.
Bella and I share a laugh.
Reaper: Hey babe. Do you remember the day dream I told you about where I had a conversation with myself in the future?
Bella: Yes. What about it?
Reaper: Well. I thought nothing of it during the day dream, but a while after I snapped out of it. I started thinking and the old man kind of reminds me of someone.
Bella giggles.
Bella: Well I'm sure he does, silly! He's you in the future!
Reaper: No. I mean he reminds me of someone I used to talk to.
Bella: Really?
Reaper: Yeah. Remember me telling you about those weird day dreams I had when I wrestled for WKF? There was always this spirit in a black robe with a hood over his head and he would always give me advice.
Bella: I think I remember that. The spirit that helped you save me from Syn, right?
Reaper: Yes.
Bella: What did you say his name was, again?
Right then and there, I freeze and I try to make the attempt to remember what the spirit's name was, but I can't for some reason or another. I know his name was different. Maybe that's why I can't remember. Then again, different names should probably be easy to remember. Either way, I can't remember.
Bella: You there, babe?
Reaper: Yeah. I'm here. I can't remember what his name was though.
Bella: Damn. That sucks. Maybe you should rest, and think on it a bit more. Maybe you will remember after you do that.
Reaper: Good idea.
Bella: Yeah. Anyways I'm getting tired. I think I might go to bed.
Reaper: Alright, babe. I'll let you get some sleep. Give RJ a kiss for me, and tell your mom I said hi.
Bella: I will, baby. I love you!
Reaper: I love you too.
The phone call ends and I place my cell phone back in my bag before grabbing my normal clothes. I stand up on my feet and walk into the shower area as the scene fades to black.
(Scene Two: Weird day dream.)
It's about two hours later and I am back at my hotel room, sitting in a chair. I have a lot of stuff on my mind right now. I'm trying to remember the name of that spirit I used to talk to in my day dreams, but I still can't remember his name. I'm also thinking about my family though. I really miss Bella and I'm not used to traveling without her. Honestly, it's kind of weird to be in a hotel room all by myself. People can say that shouldn't be a big deal as there are a lot of people on the PCW roster who hardly EVER get to see their families, but the thing is, they're probably used to it. I'm not. I'm used to having her follow me around everywhere. I guess this will all be worth it once the new baby is born though. Besides. I will see Bella tomorrow when I get home. Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that I miss her now, but I suppose that's normal. Suddenly, I look over and there is a figure in a long black robe with a hood over it's head sitting in the chair next to me. I somewhat jump as I'm a tad surprised someone is in the room with me. No one came in with me, and there was no one in here a few minutes ago. Either I wasn't paying attention and someone broke in which is very unlikely, or I'm having another one of those weird day dreams. The figure pulls the hood down and reveals itself to be me as a old man. At this point I know I'm having another day dream. I didn't expect to see him again any time soon though. I figured I haven't seen him for the last time, but I didn't think I would see him again THIS soon. I look at him and begin speaking.
Reaper: I guess I'm having another day dream?
Old man Reaper: Yes Ryan. You are, but in this day dream. You're not in some weird forest or somewhere. You're in the exact same place you are in reality.
Reaper: Yeah. Anyways. When the hell did you get in here? Or better yet, why are you here?
The old man lets out a twisted laugh.
Old man Reaper: Can't an old man visit himself from time to time?
Reaper: Hmm. I guess you make a good point, but there has to be another reason you're here.
Old man Reaper: I came to congratulate you on your big win over Curtis Wilkes.
Reaper: Thank you. That was the hardest win in my career.
Old man Reaper: No kidding. I never defeated Curtis.
I give the old man a surprised look. Is it actually possible I have accomplished something he hasn't?
Reaper: You mean to tell me that you have NEVER defeated Curtis Wilkes?
Old man Reaper: Nope and I can remember having the same match you had tonight. I didn't go for the Reaper slam though. I turned Curtis around, hit him with a DDT and went for the Black Hole Gore, but he moved out of the way, I crashed into the turnbuckle, and he hit me with the Diamond Cutter. You're already hanging my best for me. I guess I have a win over Curtis Wilkes now.
Reaper: I guess you do.
Old man Reaper: So do you. We both do.
Reaper: I guess that makes sense. We are the same person after all.
Old man Reaper: Indeed we are.
Reaper: Yeah, and I'm actually kind of glad you came. There's something I have been wanting to talk to you about.
The old man gives me a curious look.
Old man Reaper: Oh really? What would that be?
Reaper: You remind me of someone.
Old man Reaper: Who do I remind you of?
Reaper: Well. Back when I wrestled for WKF. I would have these day dreams where I would be talking to this spirit and he would help me with my battles by giving me advice and stuff. I never listened to him of course. Anyways, I didn't think anything of it when I met you, but I started thinking later after I snapped out of that day dream, and I remembered that he wore a robe kind of like the one you're wearing and I remember his voice being kind of similar to yours.
Old man Reaper: Was his name "Wraith"?
At this point my eyes widen and my memory is all coming back to me. "Wraith" was indeed the name of the spirit that helped me in my battles in WKF. I'm kinda surprised my future self can remember that when I can't though.
Reaper: Yes! That WAS his name! How can you remember that when I can't even remember!?
The old man smiles.
Old man Reaper: It's actually very simple, Ryan. Wraith and I are the same person.
That surprises the hell out of me. Is it even possible that him and Wraith are the same people? I'm not sure why Wraith would be talking to me. From what I recall, our last conversation wasn't so pleasant.
Reaper: Are you serious?
Old mand Reaper: Yes, Ryan. I am.
Reaper: Why did you start talking to me again? After the stuff I said to you last time we spoke. I figured you would just turn your back on me for good, and never offer to help me again.
Old man Reaper: That wouldn't exactly be easy to do. I want to change my past and you're my only hope of doing that. Besides, you are me. I can't just give up on myself you know. I had to at least give you a SECOND chance.
Reaper: Fair enough. Thank you for the second chance, but why did you tell me your name was Wraith? You could have just told me the truth to begin with.
Old man Reaper: At that time, you were still trying to understand the whole supernatural stuff. Yes, you DID have supernatural magic powers back then, but you didn't understand everything just yet and time travel wasn't something you believed in so I posed as a spirit who wanted to help you out, but now you're at the point where you understand your powers and due to the powers you have, you believe that ANYTHING is possible
Reaper: Good point, but posing as Wraith didn't do so good did it?
Old man Reaper: It didn't. Like you said earlier, you didn't listen to a damn thing I told you.
He has a point as I let out a small laugh.
Reaper: I didn't listen to anyone back then.
Old man Reaper: I know.
Reaper: Of course you do. We're the same person. Anyways, I take it you're going to attempt to help me stay on the right track again?
Old man Reaper: Of course! I do want to change my past after all.
Reaper: Sweet! By the way. I have a question.
Old man Reaper: Ask away!
Reaper: What do you want me to call you by?
Old man Reaper: Just call me Wraith. That's what you always used to call me back when we were friends.
Reaper: You viewed me as your friend, Wraith?
Wraith: Yes, Ryan. You were not that mean to me. Well. Other than the last conversation we had with each other. You just didn't take my advice most the time. You never did actually, but at this point I believe I can help you. You're a lot smarter now than you were back then. No offense.
Reaper: None taken. If I was stupid back then. You were also stupid back then. We all make mistakes though.
Wraith: Exactly.
Reaper: Anyways. I have a match with Draven Logan Kennedy on the next episode of Rapture. I'm going to win, right, Wraith?
Wraith: That depends on what you do in the ring. I said it before and I'll say it again, your destiny is completely up to you. Just because something happened to me, don't mean it will happen to you.
Reaper: Ah. I forgot about all of that. My bad.
Wraith: No problem. Anyways. I think it's time for you to get back to reality.
Reaper: Wait! What do I do if I need to speak with you!?
Wraith smiles.
Wraith: When you need me. I will come.
Suddenly, I snap back to reality, and look around. I am the only one in the hotel room. I check my watch and it is seven o clock in the morning.
Reaper: Damn! I better hurry up and get ready if I want to have breakfast before going to the airport.
I stand up, grab my bag and walk into the bathroom as the scene fades to black.
(Scene three: The Promo.)
Reaper: On the last episode of Rapture. I once again did something that a lot of people didn't think I could do. This time it was winning a match against Curtis Wilkes, in the main event nonetheless. It was the most difficult victory in my career, but no matter how many times I win a hard fought match. It seems like a lot of people just call it a "fluke" and refuse to believe in me, although I win all of them FAIR and square. But I'm glad I now own a victory over a member of The Elite.
On the next episode of Rapture. I will be going one on one with someone I have been in the ring with a few times before. Draven Logan Kennedy. The score for Draven and I is tied at one win a piece. He has defeated me in a First Blood match and I have made him TAP OUT in a normal match. I won two other matches in WKF that involved him, but I'm not going to count them because he isn't the one who got pinned or tapped out.
No matter how many times I get in the ring with Draven. People ALWAYS predict that he will defeat me and although the Draven we usually see these days would probably do good to defeat a member of the Jobbers For Hire. Those exact same people are STILL foolish enough to predict me to lose this match. I think it's safe to say that I am a true "underdog" in PCW despite being six foot five and weighing two hundred and eighty five pounds.
But personally, I could care less what those few people believe though. Myself and everyone else KNOWS that I will win this match with no doubt. I am already a better champion than Draven was, or could ever hope to be. Despite all of that Draven, I am looking forward to getting in the ring with you. I may have only been in the ring with you five times, but you're still one of my favorite people to beat the hell out of and throw all over the ring. I do bad things to bad people and Draven, you are the definition of a bad person.
There is no doubt in my mind I will make you tap out for the second time in my career. My only question is which Draven will I make tap out? Will it be the Draven who can hang with the main eventers, or is it the Draven who loses almost every damn match he competes in? I'm going to win this match regardless, but I really hope I am getting in the ring with the better Draven. Because it will make my victory over you all the more sweeter. You should also keep in mind that Izzy will be keeping a close eye on this match because your horrible actions have made him angry.
By the way. I have a message to Jay Thunder. If you try to cash in one of your brief cases after my match against Draven. You will regret it, so I suggest you don't do it. It was nothing more than a mistake at Slamathon and it won't be anything more than a mistake on Rapture. If you even attempt to do it, I will put you out of commission faster than Jose's multiple personalities rearing their ugly heads in a PCW environment.
Just remember everyone. Just because seasons don't fear the Reaper! Don't mean you shouldn't!
Welcome to the World of Lethality!
See you there, Draven.
