Superstar Information
Wrestler's Name: Victor Cavanagh
Wrestler's Nickname: “The Catalyst”
Billed From: Bellevue, WA
Manager/Valet: N/A
Age: 36
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Face/Heel Status: Heel
Theme Music: “Counting Bodies Like Sheep (To The Rhythm of a War Drum)” – A Perfect Circle
Gimmick (Tell us a little bit about your character): “Man Without a Country.” For years, Victor Cavanagh was the man everyone turned to in professional wrestling to do the jobs no one else would. The most vicious, brutal, ugly work that most moral and upstanding folk would turn their nose up at, or stand markedly against.,..that was his business. And business was good. Victor took any job with anyone who reached out to him, his services always going to the highest bidder….until he grew tired of playing by the rules others set down for him, and began picking his own targets, and his own spots. Victor managed to subsequently burn every bridge he had in the wrestling business, and disappeared from the limelight for several years…driven into an almost self-imposed exile. He has no friends, no compatriots, and no allies. He’s a man entirely apart.
Pic Base (The actual picture is optional, but it is required to include the persons name): Kassius Ohno (the artist formerly known as Chris Hero)
Physical Description: Athletic built. Toned, but not overtly cut. Long, sandy brown hair and beard. Ice blue eyes.
Detailed Appearance (out of the ring): Very casual. Jeans and t-shirts. Generally always has a hoodie on, and tends to always keep the hood pulled up in most circumstances when in public, or even doing on-camera promo work.
Detailed Appearance (In the ring): Silver brief tights with ‘Catalyst’ scrawled across the backside. Black knee & elbow pads. Silver-and-Black boots. Typically wears a hooded sweatshirt to the ring with the hood pulled up, that he will discard before the match.
Personality: Cold & Calculating. Generally betrays little to no emotion in, or outside the ring. Has a very dry, sarcastic wit, but otherwise remains level-headed. The sport and the violence that comes with it are a business to him…not personal.
Brief Bio: Victor was trained in the sport of professional wrestling by the notoriously ruthless Boris “Ironside” Mirianov at the Ironside Gym in Seattle, Washington. When Vic completed Mirianov’s notoriously intense and brutal training regimen, he traveled the Washington independent circuit, gaining esteem for his ruthless efficiency inside of the ring. His rise to prominence lead him to the IPWL (International Pro Wrestling League), where his vicious streak and willingness to harm any individual in his path for the right price drew the ire of the majority of the locker room, not to mention several accolades, including the IPWL Television Championship and on two occasions the IPWL Heavyweight Championship. When the company folded, Victor returned to the indies, taking his brutal show in the road…until he was more or less blackballed from the industry as it stood on the strength of some of his more vicious actions. That was 2008. Victor dropped off the grid after that, his whereabouts and his activities unknown…until resurfacing in 2013.
Style (Hardcore, Brawler, etc.): Vicious Hybrid Technician/Striker/Submissionist. Constantly innovating new ways to twist people until they break.
Entrance (write it in detail because it will be copied and pasted into our shows when your character enters the ring.):
“Don’t fret Precious I’m here
Step away from the window
And go…
Back to sleep…”
The lights fade as the hypnotically pounding rhythmic intro to “Counting Bodies Like Sheep (To the Rhythm of the War Drum)”. A chorus of boos courses through the crowd as Cavanagh appears on the stage. He stands in total silence, cracking his neck before methodically making his way to the ring, ignoring the jeers and catcalls raining down on him. He hops up on to the apron, making his way to the middle, where he pauses again, pulling his hood back and glancing out into the crowd for a moment before stepping through the ropes. He heads to his corner then, discarding his sweat shirt and doing final adjustments on his tape and pads before he leans back against the turnbuckles, awaiting the start of the match.

Here’s the deal. I haven’t RPed with this particular character (who was my stand-by) in at least 5 years. The boards for the fed I carried him in have since been wiped from the face of the internet, and since I was a genius way back then, I can’t find any of my old Vic RPs to save my life. BUT, I am RPing in a different fed right now, as an entirely different character. If all you’re looking for is to gauge my skill level as a writer I’ll drop a link right here:
s8.zetaboards.com/PDW/topic/8424455/1/#new
If that won’t do, I can probably throw something together for Vic relatively quickly.
