The Hardcore Championship was the third singles title of the Women's Wrestling Alliance. Originally known as the Estrogen Championship, the title was created as WWA had expanded. Danielle Lopez and Mya Denton thought of the title as similar to the PCW Broadcast Championship that Danielle helped raise the prestige of. Bella Robinson was the inaugural champion, marking one of her first ever championship reigns in professional wrestling. The title has seen some killer rivalries, such as former PCW World Tag Team Champions Angelina Williams and Reyna Carter battling for the title, to Reyna feuding with Lilith Evans, who went on to hold the title for 217 Days, all the way to Taryn Willow and Terra having a fierce rivalry for the belt where the former re-branded the title to the Hardcore Championship midway through her title defense against Talia Skye at Halloween Fury 2017. While it may not be the "World" and "Television" Titles, the Hardcore Title definitely has made its mark for the company.

There has been twenty-one reigns among sixteen wrestlers. Taryn Willow holds the most reigns with the title at four, while Morgan Simmons holds the longest reign in title history at 218 days (and counting), and Kijo has the most title defenses at nine. Mandy "The Monster" holds the shortest reign in title history at 4 days. The title was declared retired on the 178th edition of Friday Night Frenzy, with Mariah Lopez being the final holder of the championship. Mariah retired the championship in favor of the Joshi Championship replacing the Hardcore Championship as WWA's third singles championship.
