"Immortal" by Adema plays through the arena as we are welcomed to the 113th edition of Friday Night Frenzy. Fans in the U.S. Bank arena are going insane for some WWA action.
MW: Hello everybody, and welcome to the 113th edition of Friday Night Frenzy! This is the final stop before Beach Bash II!
EJ: Expect a lot of craziness tonight, and that's highlighted by the biggest tag team match in WWA history!
MW: That's right! Twelve women! Teams of six! One lead by Crystal Alvarez, the other lead by Rachel Robinson!
EJ: Although neither team really got to choose though! It was thrown together! But this will be fun!
MW: It will be! Let's get into the action!
We cut to Whiskey Emmanuelle sitting in the back of an ambulance backstage. She looks towards the camera to her left, leaning against a stretcher placed in front of her.
Whiskey: I told you things would get violent last week and as predicted, they did. See the cuts on my arms? They don't sting any more but I'm willing to display the cuts, the potential scars, for the world to see. I don't hide behind anything. I'm as upfront and honest as they come. If James Baker, Princess Abeela and Shelly The Bod want to hide away like cowards then that's cool. It's their prerogative. I'll always be out in the open, though. Nobody to hide behind. Nobody to stand in my way when it looks like I might be in trouble or get hurt.
Why am I sitting in the back of this ambulance? Well, I sat in one just like it last week while I got taken off to the emergency room so that I could be patched up. Me and Jen Henderson went to war and the cuts and tears in our flesh show that. Even though she didn't advance in the tournament, she proved to any doubters that she's tough, just like I did. Are you tough, Riley? Or are you like Abeela, Baker and Shelly, hiding behind Talia Skye when things get tough? Sure, you've been a success here before but do you need Talia out there when we fight in Stretcher Match to see which of us makes it further into the Lethal Cup?
We don't have to put each inside one of these things but if things get as brutal as we have to in order to win and advance, so be it. I'm no stranger to ambulances, and I'd willingly go for another ride in one if it means beating you up, strapping you onto a stretcher and rolling both you and Talia over a certain point so that I can have my hand raised. You've heard the comments over the past week. There's a movement bubbling up behind me, and it's pushing me closer to earning the respect of WWA and the fans by winning this year's Lethal Cup. The shit with the Princess and her subjects? The constant questioning of my heart, ability and desire to be a success in WWA? The brutal nature of this tournament? It's a good thing this isn't an Inferno Match because I'm already on fuckin' fire, Riley. The only way I'm getting onto one of these things is when I'm dragged onto one after I've beaten you and sorely in need of medical attention in the process.
She slaps the stretcher with both hands and rises to her feet, climbing out of the ambulance and past the camera, out of sight.
Match 1: 5. Whiskey Emmanuelle vs. 2. Riley James (w/Talia Skye) - Stretcher Match [The Brutal Four Round in The Lethal Cup Tournament]
Riley James defeated Whiskey Emmanuelle. This was a golden opportunity for these two as a win here would get them to the finals of this tournament. The intent for these two was beating the hell out of one another, and that they did. Whiskey definitely hung in there with Riley, just as Riley had done the same. They each tried to get the other over the line, but stopped each other dead in their tracks. A few minutes later, Whiskey was well in control and had Riley right where she wanted her... but she was attacked by both Princess Abeela and Shelly The Bod with "modified" baseball bats. They especially attacked the injured knee and continued to do so until they knew she couldn't get up any longer. They bailed after Riley James had come to and ran them off. However, Riley took advantage by placing Whiskey on the stretcher and wheeling it across the line, giving her the win and the spot in the finals.
MW: Riley James is going to the finals!
EJ: Major props to both Riley and Whiskey for the outstanding match up! They gave it their all in this one... although I'm sure Whiskey is a tad pissed off about being screwed out of this match!
Riley and Talia leave the area. But Shelly and Abeela come back and continue their assault on Whiskey, two on one style, much to the boos of the crowd. They continue the beating, and James Baker is seen clapping with glee. That was, until Elektra came to even up the odds. Whiskey and Elektra fought off the duo of Shelly and Abeela, with the villain's as well as their manager, retreating to the back.
MW: Elektra made the save for Whiskey this week!
EJ: Its a payback for last week when Whiskey did the same for her! Abeela and Shelly have been a thorn in Whiskey's side for quite sometime, and now it looks like she finally has an ally in this equation!
The camera's are in the back where Courtney Erickson is standing by with the current WWA World Champion, Crystal Alvarez.
Courtney Erickson: I am standing by with Crystal Alvarez. Champ, how are you feeling tonight?
Crystal Alvarez: I'm good, I'm good. My body is in shape, I feel excellent heading into Beach Bash next Friday, which I am looking forward to defending this lovely championship in the heart of CCP country, LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY!
Crystal says with excitement.
Courtney Erickson: Tonight is a preview of that as you team up with Lexi's Angels, Melanie Ramirez and Taryn Willow to take on Terra, Joanna and the one night only reunion of Team Lethality. Your thoughts on all of this?
Crystal Alvarez: You think I'm happy about this shit? I haven't forgotten about the bullshit that Katie and Brittany pulled in JPW. Stabbing me and Dani in the back by aligning themselves with certain fuckass people. Alexis Landry is a fucking snake, and her "monster" can't beat me. We've already proven this numerous times. And Melanie Ramirez wishes she could be on MY LEVEL. Taryn is Taryn, I love her to death and having her on my side is like always. She's a ride or die chick, and so am I.
Courtney Erickson: With all that, are you going to co-exist with your partners?
Crystal Alvarez: I'll do whatever is necessary for me. One person I'll definitely be on the same page with is Taryn. But as long as Alexis's bitches and Melanie stay the fuck out of my way and don't fuck shit up... but then again, I didn't ask to team with them in the first place. If they cross me, I have no hesitation of putting any of them down. You bitches have been warned.
Crystal walks off from the interview set, intense as she can be.
Match 2: The Killswitch Knockouts (Mya Lopez, Lilith Evans and Yasmeen Dumont) © vs. The Goddesses of Metal (Melissa Evans, Bailey Punk and Lauren Matthews) - WWA Trios Championship
The Killswitch Knockouts defeated The Goddesses of Metal by pinfall to retain the WWA Trios Championship. This was the team's 4th title defense, and this was against one of the premier Trios teams around. There was no finese here, just straight up brawling which is what both teams prefer. The fans were into the action as both teams had their moments in this one. Lilith and Yasmeen grabbed Bailey and hit her with the Double DDT, which was then followed up with Fly Mya Fly from Mya for the successful title defense.
We open up to a vignette playing on the screen, showcasing Lola as the "Ultimate Diva". Brash, beautiful, sexy, powerful, athletically gifted, the total package, the more superior athlete. It states she is coming to Beach Bash II next Friday night.
Match 3: The Canadian Glam Squad (Talia Skye and Reyna Carter) © vs. The Allen Sisters (Nicole and Lizzy Allen w/Abby Parker and Alexis Landry) - WWA Tag Team Championship
The Canadian Glam Squad defeated The Allen Sisters by pinfall to retain the WWA Tag Team Championship. This was the very first title defense for Talia and Reyna, and they were facing one of Alexis Landry's tag teams. The Allen Sisters were very game for this match up, and they certainly brought it to the champs... but the champs weren't going to allow themselves to be beaten. They took it to the Allen's, and despite the tit for tat for the last few minutes, Talia and Reyna got the win when they hit Lizzy with the Total Elimination they call The Makeover.
MW: The Canadian Glam Squad's first defense was a success! They beat a very game Allen Sisters!
EJ: They're no slouches as a tag team! Most people tend to forget what they did over in JPW, being former Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions in addition to Nicole's two reigns as International Champion, via her longstanding feud with Reyna Carter!
The Freakshow aren't done as the three of them, as well as Alexis, are attacking the Tag Team Champions. Hot and Sexy came out and joined in on the attacks, making it six against two. They continue the attack until the Trios Champions, The Killswitch Knockouts, come out, armed with steel chairs (barbed wired ones in Lilith and Yasmeen's case). Alexis and her clients immediately bail, not wanting any part of what the Knockouts could do to them.
MW: The Killswitch Knockouts are armed and ready to go here!
EJ: Who would have ever thought Mya Lopez would willingly make the save for Reyna Carter and Talia Skye? I sure as hell didn't!
MW: Its no secret Reyna and Mya have a lot of history with one another! 2016 had numerous classic matches between these two for the WWA World Championship, and it was Reyna who defeated Mya to begin the longest reign in the history of that title!
EJ: And you also can't forget the history Reyna shared with Lilith over the Estrogen Title!
MW: That's another good point! Either way, The Killswitch Knockouts did what was right, and its only one week until they and the Glam Squad defend their titles in respective matches against Alexis Landry's clients!
We go to the back where Courtney Erickson is standing by with a microphone in hand.
Courtney Erickson: I am standing here with Ella Lopez.
The camera pans to Ella, who gets a mixed reaction at best.
Courtney Erickson: The one time we saw you here, you were defeated by Reyna Carter with the Estrogen Title at stake, and that was with Dr. Lester by your side. My question is, why are you here two years later?
Ella Lopez: Where I was as a person two years ago, I don't ever want to go back to that. I was lost, I was in a horrible place. Looking back, I stood no chance in getting what I wanted. Now? I have seen the light, I have seen the errors of my ways. I dumped all the bad habits that I had, and really why I'm here is so I can earn the respect that I want all across the globe.
Courtney Erickson: And that starts here?
Ella Lopez: Correct. Starting from this moment, I will do things the honorable way. No more dirty tricks, no more being brainwashed. It is all about respec...
Before she could finish, she was attacked from behind by Calista and Zella of the Mascara Mafia. The two of them viciously are beating her down, with the encouragement of Riley Vega. Ella attempts to fight back but the numbers are too great. They eventually hit her with multiple shots to the face with metal spikes before standing beside Riley.
Riley Vega: Yes! Rest easy, young one.
Riley says with a smirk as he and the two members of the group depart.
Match 4: 1. Kijo vs. 11. Elektra - Monster's Ball Match [The Brutal Four Round in The Lethal Cup Tournament]
Kijo defeated Elektra by pinfall. This wasn't for the faint of heart, it was a Monster's Ball and Elektra was at a disadvantage, facing arguably the most demonic force in WWA today. Elektra did what she could to combat Kijo, and it caused a bit of damage... but Kijo was not going to allow herself to be beaten. In fact, she's the one who dishes out the beatings, which she did for a long portion of the match up with a various amount of weapons, which busted Elektra open. Elektra did kick out of the Doomsday Kiss once, which shocked the hell out of Kijo. They battled for a few more minutes until Kijo was able to hit a second Doomsday Kiss to get the win.
MW: The finals has been set! It is going to be Riley James versus Kijo in a Last Woman Standing match!
EJ: This is the third time Killa Queen Incorporated has a member going to the final round! Terra did it in 2014 and won the whole thing, while last year in the Trios version, Riley and the Korean Swat Team did it and won the tournament and became the inaugural Trios Champions!
Another vignette plays on the big screen, this time, highlighting the return of Talia Areano to WWA. It shows her past highlights in the company, including winning the Estrogen Championship over Lilith Evans. It says she is coming soon.
Main Event: Crystal Alvarez, Lexi's Angels (Mandy "The Monster", Katie Chason and Brittany Kinary w/Alexis Landry), Taryn Willow and Melanie Ramirez vs. Team Lethality (Rachel Robinson, Mariah Lopez, Bella Robinson and Kyoko Kawashima w/Mariella Lopez), Terra (w/Talia Skye) and Joanna
Team Lethality, Terra and Joanna defeated Crystal Alvarez, Hot and Sexy, Mandy "The Monster", Taryn Willow and Melanie Ramirez by pinfall. This was a twelve woman tag team match, featuring teams of those who would be facing each other next Friday night at Beach Bash, which included the one night reunion of Team Lethality as The Lethal Barbarians and The Enzuigiri Party entered together to their old stable's music. Meanwhile on the other side, Crystal Alvarez did not want to team up with any of Alexis Landry's clients and Melanie, but she tried to cooperate anyways.
This was a chaotic affair as the two sides weren't going to let up one bit. It also featured respect whenever Crystal faced off against her opponents. Towards the end, the managers ended up fighting with one another, which much to everybody's surprise, Mariella and Talia actually worked together to go against Alexis, and Hot and Sexy and the Enzuigiri Party were brawling all over the place. It also saw Taryn and Terra take off through the crowd and brawl with one another, leaving just Crystal and Mandy against The Lethal Barbarians after Joanna and Melanie brawled on the stage. Crystal and Mandy didn't exactly get along as they bickered throughout the final period. Crystal had enough and helped her old Team Lethality teammates take Mandy out, with Rachel getting the pin on the Queen Bitch Champion after she, Crystal and Mariah hit her with the Trios version of The Lethal Barbarian's finishing move, Wreck That Bitch.
MW: Team Lethality and company have won the main event, thanks in large part to another former member of the squad!
EJ: Crystal Alvarez tends to do whatever the hell she wants, and knowing her history with Mandy and company, I'm surprised things didn't go to hell earlier!
MW: You know how badly she wanted to be a part of this one night only reunion of Team Lethality!
Rachel and Mariah celebrate with one another to massive cheers from the crowd. As Rachel turns around, Crystal is standing right there with her WWA World Championship in tow. The two of them go face to face with one another, neither backing down from their post, all the while Mariah is trying to play peacemaker between her two longtime associates.
MW: This is getting testy folks! Just one week away until Beach Bash II and these two are main eventing the show with the richest prize in this company at stake!
EJ: Its going to be one hell of a main event! I for one, cannot wait!
The show ends with Crystal and Rachel continuing their staredown, all in the name of the WWA World Championship.
