WWA Presents: Wildcard III - Spring Break
Date: 3-2-18
Venue: Club La Vera (Panama City Beach, Florida)
Commentators: Desiree Miles and Shannon Saint
We open up to a video package, highlighting what is typically done during spring break in the Floridian region. A lot of partying, a lot of scandalous activity. The normal crazy behavior this time of year.
Narrator: The Women’s Wrestling Alliance. A battlezone for every female competitor who steps in between the ropes for this company. Championships and glory, as well as passion, are all displayed.
Highlights of some of WWA’s greatest moments over the years are played.
Narrator: This event is too big for one person to control. The boss lady herself, the legendary “The Lethal Latina” Danielle Lopez, decided to place this event in the hands of people whom she has worked with during her days as a competitor. This special televised event is divided up into three separate chapters, each controlled by a host. Great names were picked for this occasion, such as the founders of YouTube Championship Wrestling, Leo Hawkins and Terrell Ryder…
We cut to Leo Hawkins and Terrell Ryder.
Leo Hawkins: We’re back in the saddle for one night only. Danielle Lopez invited us to this shindig and we are definitely not going to disappoint.
Narrator: One of the founders of Inferno Championship Wrestling, Tyler Brownlee…
Cut to Tyler Brownlee.
Tyler Brownlee: I was here for the original Battle Finale, and I figured why not accept the invitation Miss Lopez has given out. It’s a neat concept, and I can’t thank her enough for inviting me here.
Narrator: And of course, former Premium Women’s Wrestling General Manager, Jane Isis!
Jane Isis: This is the celebration of women worldwide. Danielle Lopez is a dear friend of mine, and I’m very thankful she invited me here tonight.
Narrator: These three men, and one woman, are in charge for one night only. They are to rule the battlefield of this extraordinary event. This is one of our biggest events yet on the road to Boom or Bust II.
”Turn the Page” by Metallica begins to play as we showcase Kijo, Big Beauty, Mariah Lopez, Reyna Carter, and of course, the winner of the 2018 Struggle for Power Battlefield, the legendary Talia Skye, all in the video package.
Narrator: Many things are about to shape up the biggest event of the year for WWA. With that, let’s get to the precursor of Boom or Bust. It is now time for Wildcard III… SPRING BREAK!!!
”Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica plays and the fans who have attended the first professional wrestling event at Club La Vera in seventeen years, are wild and rabid for this show. Signs all across the sea of fans are displayed, showing support for Talia Skye, Crystal Alvarez, Izumi Sato, FM Young, Taryn Willow and Mariah Lopez among others. The camera’s cut to the legendary PCW announce team of Desiree Miles and Shannon Saint.
DM: Ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME to Wildcard III: SPRING BREAK! I’m Desiree Miles, alongside the controversial one himself, Shannon Saint! And Taint, we got a stellar card here tonight divided up into THREE CHAPTERS!
SS: Shades of the very first Battle Finale event where the formation of Premium Championship Wrestling took place! I know because I was there and I orchestrated that shit!
DM: Mhmm! Each chapter gets their own main event! Main eventing chapter one is the first of TWO Dream Matches! Crystal Alvarez versus Izumi Sato!
SS: This particular match is two years in the making! Originally supposed to happen in Perfect Ten wrestling, but company closures as well as work Visa’s caused that to be delayed! Now that Izumi is in WWA, that match instantly became a reality and it’s one we are all dying to see!
DM: The main event for chapter two is the other dream match between Hannah Kristiansen and FM Young!
SS: Damn right it is! The hype that as well as Crystal versus Izumi has received, definitely is comparable to one trailblazing match we both called in PCW, that being Talia Skye versus Danielle Lopez at Battle Finale II! And these women have the ability to make something special happen!
DM: The main event of chapter three is the WWA World Championship match between “The Japanese Demon” Kijo and Cardinal City Pro’s Big Beauty!
SS: Each woman has her own agenda! Kijo is bound to continue hers and destroy everybody, while Kelly Hampton wants Beauty to turn this company’s World Title into CCP’s second World Title and destroy plans that Danielle had laid out for Boom or Bust II! This is going to be a treat!
DM: And we cannot forget the chapter hosts! The first one is hosted by Terrell Ryder and Leo Hawkins, two men whom viewers from Premium Championship Wrestling are very familiar with!
SS: The founding fathers of YouTube Championship Wrestling, and it makes sense for both of them to be here at Wildcard III!
DM: Chapters two and three are hosted by Tyler Brownlee and Jane Isis respectively!
SS: Brownlee is from Inferno Championship Wrestling, one of the founders of that promotion which helped form PCW!
DM: And Jane Isis is the former general manager for Premium Women’s Wrestling, as well as a member of the PCW Hall of Fame for being a member of Generation Next!
SS: She didn’t do anything though!
DM: Shut up Taint! You’re in the Hall of Fame and you didn’t do jack shit but I digress fatty! What an event this will be! For this first chapter, we’ll have some terrifically good matches! Stick around, because coming up is a Trios match for the WWA Trios Championship… but first, let’s introduce our chapter one hosts!
”Fuel” by Metallica plays to cheers from the crowd. Leo Hawkins and Terrell Ryder come out and wave to the crowd. Both of them slap hands with the fans before they enter the ring. Leo has a microphone and begins to speak.
Leo Hawkins: Hello Panama City!
The fans cheer loudly.
Leo Hawkins: It feels fucking amazing to be here! When Danielle Lopez invited us, we had to accept. For those who aren’t aware, the old YCW headquarters is located not too far from here in Dayton Beach, so we automatically have Floridian roots, and it’s great to be back.
The cheers turn into a lot of boos as Terrell Ryder has the microphone.
Terrell Ryder: I know guys. I know why you all are booing me, and admittedly I deserve it. My actions from PCW were horrendous! In retrospect, I never should have trusted Morgan Simmons. She is a snake, and I got my ass kicked at the Reunion Show by Tom Pendergrass! So I paid the price.
The fans are calming down.
Terrell Ryder: But our chapter is going to be HUGE! We have a title match, and a DREAM MATCH! Fuck it, let’s get to our first match tonight. I want to see some goddamn wrestling.
Leo Hawkins: You heard the man. Let’s get this first chapter started!
Match 1: GLITTER (Angela Lopez, Tamara Jones and Mercedes Mendoza) © vs. The Killswitch Knockouts (Mya Lopez, Lilith Evans and Yasmeen Dumont) [WWA Trios Championship]
The bell for this one sounds, and here we go! Angela Lopez starts it off for the champs, while across from her is her cousin Mya for the challenging Killswitch Knockouts! The two of them trash talk one another before they go at it. Angela with a right, Mya with a left. They went at it until Mya kicked Angela right in the face with a straight shot. Mya now takes it to her cousin, hitting kick after kick until dropping Angela down with a Fisherwoman suplex. The leg is hooked… but only a Two count!
Mya made the tag to Yasmeen Dumont, and the duo nicknamed the Blondetourage hit a double suplex to Angela. Yasmeen now does the damage to the youngest member of the Lopez clan. She attempts to go for the Geek Sheek early… but is reversed into a Northern Lights suplex… but can only get a Two count! Angela gets up and makes the tag to Tamara Jones! Tamara had Yasmeen on her shoulders and Angela went to the top rope before hitting a dropkick that took Yasmeen down! Tamara hooked the leg… but again, a Two count!
This one continued, and Tamara was exhibiting her power game to keep Yasmeen grounded! Tamara and Mercedes, the powerhouses of the team, began working over Yasmeen and tagged in and out before they each hit her with a backbreaker over the knee! This continued for quite a while until Yasmeen was able to counter a bearhug attempt into a HUGE Tornado DDT to Tamara Jones! Both women were down and the ref began counting! They got up to their feet before the count of ten, and made the tag to Lilith Evans and Mercedes Mendoza respectively.
Lilith comes in and takes it to the bigger competitor in Mercedes Mendoza. Lilith goes for a rough and pound style and it works for her, causing Mercedes to stagger long enough until she hit a belly to back suplex. She got a cover… but only a Two count! Lilith wasn’t letting up, knowing her team could be four time champs, this was do or die time! She kept it up, but Mercedes was keeping up! Lilith got in position for Hammered… but was caught, and hit with the Mendoza’s way instead! Yasmeen and Mya brawled with the other members of GLITTER as Mercedes went for the cover… and got the Three count!
WINNERS, AND STIIIILLLL WWA TRIOS CHAMPIONS: GLITTER via pinfall!
”Destruction of Myself” by From Ashes to New plays and GLITTER celebrates their victory to huge boos from the crowd.
DM: GLITTER successfully retains their Trios Titles!
SS: That was a fantastic match up! Both teams gave it their all, but only one more powerful team was able to win!
The champions continue to celebrate… that was until “4 Words (To Choke Upon)” by Bullet for My Valentine plays to HUGE CHEERS from the WWA faithful. Crystal Alvarez walks out with a microphone in her hand and she stands on the stage as the fans chant her name. She smiles and waves at them until her music dies down. She awaits a few minutes before she begins to speak.
Crystal Alvarez: The “KO Queen” is here in the building.
The fans cheer loudly.
Crystal Alvarez: Now I know everybody is saying, don’t you have a dream match to prepare for? Yes, and I am ready for my match up against Izumi… but there is a reason why I am out here right now, and that is because of the champions…
Everybody is curious as the what the former WWA World Champion has to say.
Crystal Alvarez: Congratulations GLITTER, you’re still the Trios Champions… but DO NOT get too comfortable with those belts, because you will have new challengers. I’ll give you a hint. One-third of your next challengers is yours truly, the two time WWA World Champion, the FACE OF THIS COMPANY! THE “KO QUEEN”, “The Best of the Best”, the winner of the 2018 Rebellion Royal!, CRYSTAL ALVAREZ!!! I’ll see you chumps next week!
”4 Words (To Choke Upon)” plays again as Crystal exits to the back, with the fans STILL cheering for her.
We cut to the back where Courtney Erickson is standing by.
Courtney Erickson: I'm standing by with one of WWA's newest signees, Gabriella Partian. Now...
Before she could ask, the man known as the "King of Hardcore" and the "Savage Warrior" among names walks up, dressed in jeans and a tank top. He grabs a mic and brushes Courtney away.
James Baker: Scram away.
Baker looks at Gabriella.
James Baker: Damn you're beyond beautiful. What's your name if you don't mind me asking?
Partain can't help but smirk at the entrance of Baker and the bit of attention before looking at James.
Gabriella Partain: Oh, you know exactly what the name is, that is why you are out here. You can try and mask it in just wanting to get an up close look, but you know damn good and well it is much more than that... But for the few out there who may not know, the name is Gabriella Partain. It is a name that soon enough will be on the lips of anyone and everyone associated with WWA.
James Baker: And what are your goals if you don't mind me asking?
Gabriella Partain: Oh, the "goals", you say? Hell, those are pretty simple. I want the same thing everyone else that walks into this business should want. I want to be nothing less than the best around this company. Do I understand that it is going to take sometime for this to happen, absolutely. But I also understand that I am as close to a blue chipper as this company has even seen. I am indeed what you would call the total package. I have the looks, the work ethic and the drive to push as hard and to anywhere I want to go.
Baker nods and has a real good look at Gabriella.
James Baker: You sure are the complete package. Are you looking for a managerial presence by chance? One that'll help you get to that level?
Gabriella Partain: I am looking for an edge anyway I can get it, and if that means a manager to give me the extra nudge then yeah, I might just be looking.
Baker smirks.
James Baker: Well I'm offering my services. One more question tho.
Gabriella Partain: And that is?
James Baker: Would you mind if I take you on a date? My treat. You are beautiful as hell and I would love to get to know you.
Gabriella Partain: That might just be pushing it a bit. Not very big on mixing business with pleasure. But you are free to schedule something business related and we can discuss my future here in WWA.
James Baker: Fair enough. I like that.
The two of them walk away together, talking to one another.
Match 2: Tina Ketchum vs. Aubrey Cassidy
Last week, their issues began when Aubrey Cassidy got an upset win over Tina Ketchum! Tonight, they get a rematch. The bell rang and Ketchum immediately went after Cassidy, delivering a series of strikes to the rookie wrestler before hitting her with a quick hip toss. Ketchum takes some time and engage in a little trash talk before going back to hitting Cassidy with some kicks. She waited for Cassidy to get up… then planted her with a one handed bulldog as she got up. She quickly hooked the leg… but only a Two count!
Ketchum wasn’t going to allow Cassidy to get a change to get back into this one as she locked in an abdominal stretch. This only lasted for a brief time as Cassidy hit a jawbreaker then a jumping enzuigiri to stun her. Cassidy leaps up and hits a hurricanrana, complete with a pin attempt… but only a Two count! Cassidy continued her momentum, hitting a flipping leg drop to the Canadian. Cassidy went for another cover… but again, Ketchum kicks out at the count of Two!
Cassidy quickly went to the top rope. She dove off, looking for a flying hurricanrana… but Ketchum caught her, and hit her with a sitout powerbomb! Ketchum went for the cover… but Two count! The pace of this match quickened for both competitors as Ketchum delivered some high paced offense of her own, wowing the fans in the process. Ketchum dismissed the fans before delivering a side-kick to the face of Cassidy. She quickly went to the top rope and dove off for the Air Tina… NOBODY HOME! Cassidy got her knees up and quickly made the cover… but barely there was a kickout at Two!
The rookie talent is digging down deep, shaking off any cobwebs she has. She gets Ketchum up to the turnbuckle before running in… GOD’S WILL!!! Ketchum comes out dazed and confused as Cassidy hits a reverse STO! She signals for the end and locks in the Modified figure-four headscissors, putting in The Aubrey Lock! She has it locked in… until Ketchum was able to get back to a vertical base before transitioning into the Single Underhook Sit Out Facebuster she calls the Dollop of Ketchum! She hooked the leg… and got the Three count for the victory.
WINNER: Tina Ketchum via pinfall!
Ketchum gets her hand raised... but its not enough as she starts attacking Cassidy, despite being named the winner of the match, much to the dismay of the fans in attendance.
DM: C'mon now! Is this really necessary?
SS: Ketchum is a big deal! And she's making sure her impact is felt upon the WWA fanbase!
She continues her attack... until "Awake" by Ra plays. Mariah Lopez and The Ninja Squad walks out from the back, each of them slowly makes their way down the ramp before climbing the apron, surrounding the ring until they enter. Ketchum is giddy as they think they are here to beat up Cassidy as well... but Mariah looks at Ketchum with disdain on her face and points at her before The Ninja Squad attacks.
DM: What the hell is going on? The Ninja's are attacking Tina Ketchum!
SS: This is bizarre! Then again, Mariah and her squad go after EVERYBODY!
The two on one attack continues, with Mariah checking on Cassidy. The Ninja's beat Ketchum down enough to where they give her to Mariah. From there, the three of them plant Ketchum down with a Triple Powerbomb! Ketchum is laid out as Cassidy is up to her feet, fearing that she too will get slaughtered. Mariah however, isn't going to do that as she hugs and gives the rookie a passionate kiss before they leave the ring with her.
DM: Umm... what the hell was that?
SS: It looks like Mariah may have found her new squeeze! She definitely is a number!
DM: A lot of shit can happen here in the WWA! Even this!
Match 3: The Princesses (Princess Abeela and Lola w/James Baker) vs. Breaking Habits (Violet Simons and Sydney Hollister)
The third match of this first chapter. The Princesses are a target of the boss lady Danielle Lopez, who wants them exterminated. Enter Breaking Habits, who have been dubbed as Danielle’s hit squad so to speak. Hollister starts this off with a series of technical style moves to take down Abeela. Hollister wasn’t playing around here as she launched Abeela into the corner before hitting her with lefts and rights to debilitate her before following up with a stalling suplex to take Abeela down to the mat.
Hollister tags in the powerhouse of the team, Violet Simons! The duo hit a double suplex to the former WWA World Champion, hooking the leg… but only getting a Two count out of it! This didn’t faze the team as Simons tagged Hollister right back in the match. The two of them then hit a double hip toss. Breaking Habits continued their advantage, until Abeela countered a side slam attempt into a tornado DDT! Abeela got in some offense on Hollister, reminding everybody why she is a former WWA World Champion! This went on until she tagged in Lola.
Lola, being as arrogant as can be, flaunted her stuff before tagging Hollister with a right, then a left before going to blows with her. She delivered a spinning kick right to the face of Hollister before going for the cover… but only a Two count! Lola continued her advantage here, applying her signature kicking ability before going to a more technical style. This lasted until Hollister delivered a jawbreaker before delivering a backbreaker and making the tag to Simons, who delivered a BIG BOOT before going for a cover of her own… but only a Two count!
The Goddess of Indiana continued the upperhand, until Simons raked the eyes then tagged in Simons, who delivered a thunderous spinebuster to the unpinned star of The Princesses. Simons continues, but the manager of The Princesses James Baker comes onto the apron… however, Danielle Lopez appeared (still badly injured from Rebellion) and knocked her ex-husband off the apron. This distracted Lola, but Simons and Hollister took advantage by double teaming her, and hitting her with the Shattered Reality. Hollister then took out Abeela before Simons made the cover on Lola… and getting the Three count.
WINNERS: Breaking Habits via pinfall!
"When I'm Gone" by Three Doors Down plays as Simons and Hollister are announced as the victors. They are joined by Danielle, who as pointed out, is still nursing her injuries from the street fight a couple of days ago. Breaking Habits and Danielle stand together before they walk to the back.
DM: That was an impresive victory for Breaking Habits, who got the job done!
SS: Danielle wanted a task done, and they did it! Looks like she's going to give her hit squad a reward!
DM: No harm in that! I trust Dani, she's always stood by those who do favors for her!
Co Main Event #1: Crystal Alvarez vs. Izumi Sato
The main event of Chapter One! One of two dream matches! Both of these women have been itching for this match up for quite some time! Two of the best submission specialists in the sport today! They made their entrances and got some BIG TIME pops from the Panama City Beach crowd. They stand across from one another, engaging in a little friendly trash talk as the referee pats both of them down.
The bell sounds and a handshake between the two ensues as they circle around the ring. They engage in a lockup, with neither competitor able to gain the upperhand. They do so again with Izumi locking in a side headlock, but Crystal immediately does a takedown. However, Izumi kipped right back up and hit an arm drag. Crystal came back to her feet and the two of them were at a stalemate with the fans chanting for both wrestlers. The two of them engage in a little friendly trash talk once more as they are face to face, nose to nose during this stalemate.
They start exchanging rights with one another, with Crystal winning this exchange. She has some very lightning quick rights and lefts before ending the sequence with a backfist. Crystal picks Izumi up and tries for a suplex, but Izumi blocked it before hitting a snap suplex of her own. Izumi makes the first cover of the night, but can only get a Two count! Izumi knows this is going to be a long long night if she wants a victory over the two time WWA World Champion.
Izumi hits a Judo hip toss to Crystal before locking in a Cross Armbreaker, right on the surgically repaired shoulder of the “KO Queen”! Crystal is writhing in pain, knowing that her shoulder is in serious jeopardy… but like she usually does, she shows heart and determination and gets back to a vertical base… however, Izumi kicks her right in the shoulder before hitting a shoulderbreaker! Crystal is in huge pain here but Izumi keeps the pressure up by locking in a figure four armlock! The pressure is real here as Crystal is at another disadvantage, trying to find someway to get out of this. It is tough and after a few minutes, Crystal powers out and hits a powerbomb, but her shoulder is clearly hurt here.
Both competitors lay on the mat for a bit until they both manage to get to their feet before the ten count! Crystal and Izumi are relishing the cheers from the crowd before they dare the other to bring it, which they do. Izumi hits a right, then some kicks. But perhaps out of pure emotion and energy, Crystal keeps up, utilizing her right arm only to fight back, and connecting on some serious shots to the “Pure Heart Warrior”. Crystal dazed Izumi enough to hit her signature Crystal-DT! She hooked the leg, thinking she was going to win… but not enough as Izumi kicked out at Two!
Crystal gets to her feet and signals for the Super Duper Knockout Supreme! Izumi is up and Crystal goes for it… NO! Izumi DUCKED IT, then hit her in the FACE with the Uraken! Crystal falls right to the mat and Izumi hooks the leg, thinking she has it… NO! Crystal kicked out before the hand went down for three! Izumi is hurting but isn’t resting here as she goes to lock in the Kyoto Clutch! Crystal is in a bad bad way here, dead center in the ring! She tries desperately to fight out of it but Izumi has it locked in very tight here! Crystal is starting to fade away fast and the referee raises the hand… and it drops down!
1!
The referee raises it again… and it drops!
2!
The referee does it a third time… but Crystal shows she still has some fight left in her by keeping the hand raised. She gets to a vertical base and fights back with some rights to the abdomen before hitting a back suplex to take Izumi down! It takes a moment for Crystal to get up but she does, and executes a series of rights before connecting with the KO Queen Special! Crystal immediately goes for the cover… but Izumi barely kicked out before the count of three, leaving the “KO Queen” to wonder what else does she need to do to put Izumi away here.
This match up continues and both competitors are giving it their all. They are trading shot after shot, trying to find any opening to get the win here in this dream match. They even exchange more submission holds here until they literally have nothing left. Both women are clearly exhausted, with Crystal’s surgically repaired shoulder having been worked on for most of the match. Izumi is in control here and is going for the Bullet Rush on a dazed Alvarez… NO! Crystal somehow, someway, moved out of the way, sending Izumi straight into the turnbuckle!
This gave the “KO Queen” enough time to shake the cobwebs off and attempt to lock in the Tap or Die! Izumi tries to fight out of it, but Crystal’s leg strength wasn’t going to allow that to happen, officially locking it in! Izumi tries desperately to fight out of it, and almost does… but the hold is too tight and too excruciating for the “Pure Heart Warrior” to handle, and Crystal is locking it in as if her very career depends on it. Izumi still tries to fight out of it but she is fading away. After quite a while in the hold, Izumi eventually tapped out, giving Crystal the win here to end chapter one.
WINNER: “The KO Queen” Crystal Alvarez via submission!
”4 Words (To Choke Upon)” by Bullet for My Valentine plays and the fans cheer as loud as they could as Crystal is up to her feet and is clearly in pain from the match up.
DM: WHAT. A. MATCH! Crystal Alvarez has just defeated Izumi Sato in a fantastic contest!
SS: These two ladies definitely left it all out there! It could have gone either way!
Crystal is to her feet, and across from her is an equally exhausted Izumi Sato! The two of them look at one another before they shake hands and embrace in a hug.
DM: That’s what it’s all about! Respect!
SS: This display is crap! Although they did put on an outstanding contest!
DM: That they did Taint! And with that, this is the end of chapter one!
SS: I wonder if Brownbitch can top that with his chapter!
DM: You're a piece of crap, Taint! Lets see what he has!
