To the entire roster,
I feel typing all of this out is highly necessary. As a lot of you know, I have been dealing with a major case of burnout. My energy level to do any fed work is at damn near empty and has been for quite a while now. As some of you know, I posted a little tidbit on the Danielle account stating that it is a big possibility that I would leave the game of fedding due to said burnout yet never elaborated on the plan of WWA in general. I have had some time to think since then and decided before things get even worse, I'll develop a system of sorts.
First things first, beginning the WWA calendar in 2019 is New Years Battlefield. Beginning at that very show, the Women's Wrestling Alliance will be a bi-weekly efed. What that means is a show every two weeks. Why? Because it has become evidently clear during this that I cannot keep up a weekly micro-angled fed while working a large amount of hours in what I do for a living, on top of likely going back to school soon to finally earn my Masters degree. No sane or rational human being could do all of that shit and quite frankly, I don't want to attempt that.
Secondly, I'll be honest, I have kind of done written all of the contest by myself for the most part in the last two years since I took over and decided to make WWA more of a thing than it was at the time. I do plan on still being here, in my role... but it will not be by myself. One person cannot reasonably run shit by themselves, that may very well have contributed to the drainage. Amy (Mya Denton) will be a part of the process here in WWA going forward, and if anybody else wants to be a staff member, hit me up. Its really just write a match here or there, nothing too major.
Third, with the change to the bi-weekly format in 2019 means an extra week to write. It'll prove to be beneficial going forward. PCW in it's second run was a bi-weekly fed, and as an RP'er for that fed, it was a lot easier to handle than the weekly grind. We'll also be having awards and stuff at the end of this year. To really get a perspective as to what the schedule will look like, it'll be something like this.
- Frenzy will be once every two weeks with four pay-per-views and two Wildcard Events per year, making six of those in total. Aka the PCW system for those of you who were here during that time.
- We're still going to have five matches for Frenzy's, and around eight or nine of them for PPV/Wildcard events that way there's not an overabundance of shit. Segments are as always, welcomed and encouraged.
With all of that being said, let's have a wonderful rest of 2018 and a kick ass 2019 for the fed and life.
