(The Camera fades to a close-up shot of Shannon Saint inside a dimly-lit room, wearing his usual commentator suit. But he isn't here to commentate. This is a rare web exclusive interview.)
SS: Hello, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Shannon Saint, and I welcome you to this exclusive interview for WWA.com. Joining me at this time is my special guest. He is a PCW Hall of Famer, the only recognized PCW Grand Slam Champion, holding every single PCW Championship in existence, a current member of the CCP Roster and former guest host for WWA. Please welcome "The Angel of Death" himself: Leon Lonewolf.
(As Shannon was speaking the camera slowly pans out until the back of Lonewolf's head can be seen. As soon as he's introduced, the camera pans to the man himself.)
LL: Thank you for having me, Shannon.
SS Now, You requested this interview, yet when we talked over the phone, you wouldn't explain why because you wanted it to keep it a surprise. Now that you are here, would you mind telling us what exactly this surprise is?
LL: Why, yes, of course.
(Leon grabs a folded slip of paper, unfolds it, and shows it briefly to the camera before refolding it. From the brief moment the full page was shown, the logos for PTN and WWA were visably shown.
LL: This slip of paper is a special contract that I signed specifically with the PTN Board of Directors. This contract is a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract that allows me to wrestle for any and all wrestling promotions under the PTN Banner, both current and future. Now before, these kinds of contracts were all over when PCW was in its hayday, when talent bounced back and forth between PCW, HCW, PW, et cetra. Now its only WWA. And as you know, WWA only hires female wrestlers. But this sheet of paper is essentially a loophole around that little wall. So this essentially makes me the first contracted male wrestler on the WWA Roster.
SS: Wow...just...wow...that is momumental and history making right there. Is there anything you can share regarding the conditions of your contract?
LL: So while my contract is throughout several years, the number of actual dates I will be wrestling will be limited. I'll still get paid to show up and cut promos, but my actual in-ring dates are on a case-by-case basis. This is WWA, afterall. I may have beef with management but I respect the company enough to where I'm not going to make me, a male, the face of a female promotion. So I worked with the Network through negotiations to maximize both our profits. They know I'm a huge star, so why would I wrestle on Frenzy? Let the ladies have their fun on Frenzy, and I'll be competing exclusively on network specials and pay-per-view events. I have creative control and what I want to do within the promotion, and I don't have to report directly to Danielle, but to the Board of Directors themselves.
SS: What about the rest of Apocalypse?
LL: Lance, Frank, and Kray have similar contracts, but do not have compete clauses in them. So they will only be working as my backup. They're allowed to get physical if it calls for it, but as far as sanctioned matches go, they wont be able to. That's fine and all. I'm sure there's already fan backlash over 1 male competing in WWA, but 4? That's almost worthy of a riot outside HQ.
SS: How will this conflict with your contract with CCP?
LL: CCP and WWA, last I heard, still have a working relationship, despite the criminal investigation on the Callaways. Just recently, Me and Crystal competed in a CCP house show just a couple days after Thanksgiving Thunder. There won't be any conflicts in dates whatsoever
SS: Lastly, how do you think WWA Owner Danielle Lopez will respond?
LL: She won't be happy, but there is nothing she can do about it. My boss is the Network Board, not Miss Lopez. She can have her adorable little temper tantrums all she wants. She's a Latina, afterall. They tend to flip their crazy switch from 0 to 100 in a snap of a finger, I've seen it with my own eyes. The most she can do is sick her roster on me, but I have Apocalypse, and now I have The Ninja Squad and The Killswitch Knockouts. Me and Mariah will be the most dominate combination of faction this company and this industry will ever see. She will regain her WWA World Championship from Crystal Alvarez. And once she is done with her, I'll be there to pick up the leftovers and take what is rightfully mine: The CCP World Championship. We may have a bit of a setback at Thanksgiving Thunder, but we are just getting started. So I'd watch your back if I were you, Danielle...
