Hey everyone. I came up with the idea of starting a RPG on here that would basically take place n the perfect Fantasy World which would have pretty much ANYTHING you can think of from Dinosaurs to Dragons to Bandits to Robots. You would be able to be any type of character you want, and there are two styles of combat. Warrior and Mage. Warriors are better with weapons and hand to hand combat while Mages are better with Magic. You of course would be able to be both but keep in mind you wouldn't be able to fully master either if you go that route (just to keep things fair and balanced). Types of Magic would be Fire, Water, Lightning, Nature, Ice, Wind, Earth, Blessings and Curses. Weapons would be anything from wooden spears to machine guns to laser canons
Let me explain how it would work. Each character would of course start out at level 1...a character can only go up to level 100 ....each time your character levels up, you could choose to improve either Warrior or Magic skills...so you can completely focus on one style all the way up to level one hundred OR you can mix things up and have your character be balanced. For example. Maybe you want your character to be 50% Warrior 50% Mage.
My idea is we could have a whole section for this game. A place to post character apps as well as Different threads for different locations within the World (remember Premium City?). I was thinking if enough people are interested, we could get a section made on the forum.
By the way. Here is a list of weapons you could start out with (a character can start with up to two of these weapons..they may also start with a shield if the handler wants them to. A character can use two one handed weapons at the same time...obviously)
Knives (rather a character uses them for throwing or close up combat is up to the handler)
Bow and Arrows
Spear
Sword
Big Sword (two handed)
War Axe (one handed)
Battle Axe (two handed)
Pistol
Shot gun
There are non combat related skills such as cooking and stuff like that but they do not effect your characters level or how much health or magic they have. I would like to give handlers as much freedom as possible but let's please not make things too graphic (You know what I mean). Another big rule I want to lay down is you may NOT kill off a character without the handlers permission.....
That's pretty much all I have to say in this thread. Hopefully enough people are interested, and we can get things going. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you

I would like to add that you can have multiple characters (the more. The merrier)
Types of Magic:
Fire
Water
Lightning
Nature
Ice
Wind
Earth
Blessings
Curses
Starter weapons: (added stuff. Remember. No more than two..and yes. You may have two of the same. I know how some people like their character to fight with a sword or pistol in both hands lol)
Knives (characters may use them however the handler wants them to)
Bow and Arrows
Spear
Sword
Shuriken (Ninja stars)
Nunchuck
Bo staff
Big sword (two handed)
War axe (one handed)
Battle axe (two handed)
Pistol
Shot gun
And here is what the character application will probable look like. Feel free to completely make things up for the type of character as well as his or her race and culture, but if you do, please explain what they are so everyone can get a idea.. Hopefully we can get a section to post these soon.
Character's name (please give them a first and last name):
Gender (Male. Female. Possibly both or neither?)
Type of character (Soldier. Ninja. Pirate. Ect):
Race (Human, Elf, Alien, ect)
Culture (optional):
Good or Evil (possibly neutral)?:
Personality:
Where is your character from (I prefer it's either a location within the game or a place you made up)?:
Where does your character live (Hopefully I will come up with some Villages, Towns and Cities for the game soon. Feel free to help me)?:
Backstory:
Combat style (Warrior, Mage or mixed?)
Height:
Weight:
Physical description (Hair, Eyes. Body type. Ect):
Starter weapons (optional):

Okay everyone. I'm going to be calling my RPG "The Land Of Premia". Nathan and I came up with locations. I threw him some ideas (what type of towns they are) and he came up with the names for them. I'm hoping we can get a section for this game but if not, we will see what we can do in the Fun and Games section. Hopefully it gets it's own section though. Would be a lot easier to keep up with things since it will need multiple threads (that way people don't get confused). Here is a list of locations.
Capitol City: The biggest and most populated place in Premia. This is where the Premium Castle is located (which is of course where the King of Premia lives). It's also the place where people become famous Actors, Singers and Musicians, and it's the home of the Premium Military School (where people go to become Premium Soldiers). It also has a huge Beach!
Paragon: A Town that's known for it's Crime Fighters. This Town has more Crime Fighters and Bounty Hunters than any place in Premia as well as the biggest Police Station. It's also the safest place in Premia. It has the best Blacksmith Forge (AND the best Blacksmiths!) as well as the biggest Weapons shop in Premia.
Avalon: A Village known for it's Magic School (it's obviously full of Mages).
Vacuo: A Polluted Town that's full of Criminals, Homeless people and people who only care about Money. Even the Mayor (who is possibly corrupt) doesn't care about anything but Wealth!
Niflhelm: A Town located in the Mountains where it is always snowing. It's not only known for it's snowy location but it's also known for having the biggest shopping mall as well as the best Cookies and Hot Coco in Premia!
Erendale: A Village Known for it's Farms and hard workers as well as it's famous Lumber Mil.
Tarus: A Village known for having the largest Cematary and Funeral Home.
Ormere: Another Village known for it's hard workers, but it's also known for it's Premium Gold Mines.
Atlas: A Futuristic Town that's known for it's huge laboratory and futuristic technology as well as the best Scientists in Premia.
Luddiville: A Village known for refusing to use technology.

Hey everyone. Another update. I posted the rules and info in the rules and info section only to find out that board is privet for whatever reason so I will post it here too. Sorry it's so long but there is a LOT to cover!
Rule 1: No giving your character God mode or making him/her immortal.
Rule 2: Don't be overly graphic (we don't want to see any rape in our RPG)
Rule 3: No as someone elses character
Rule 4: No killing off someone's character without their permission. Please stick to your own characters
Now for some information.
List of locations within Premia:
Even the Mayor (who is possibly corrupt) doesn't care about anything but Wealth and the Vacuo Police Force seemingly do their best to avoid most crimes!
Now to list some NPCs (you are welcome to come up with NPCs yourself)
Important figures of Premia (please don't kill them off or anything without permission...):
King James Premia: A good man (even if a bit stubborn). Not only does he run Capitol City but he rules over all of Premia (he is the King after all!). He cares very much about Premia, and is willing to basically do whatever it takes to make sure things get done, and all his people are protected.
Comissioner Stephon Jones: not only is he the Comissioner of the Paragon Police Force (the BEST Police Force in Premia!) but he is also the Mayor of Paragon. He is kind hearted but doesn't hesitate to get mean when he needs to. Keeping Paragon safe is his top priority.
Headmistress Shanna McCandleflare: She may not seem like the friendleist person in the World, but she is a good person. Not only is she the Headmistress of the Avalon Magic School but she is also the Mayor of Avalon. She cares very much about her people (especially her Students who she pushes extra hard to be successful), and always stands up for the right to use Magic (some people in Premia are against it).
Mayor Tony Polino: the Mayor of Vacuo. This man only cares about one thing.....and it's sadly not his people. No. This man only cares about money, and he will do whatever it takes to make money. He even does business with criminals, and often pays his Police Force to "look the other way"!
Mayor John Wintermon: The Mayor of Niflhelm. A jolly old man who loves to go hiking and fishing during his free time. He also has a big addiction to sweets...especially Niflhelm cookies!
Mayor Michael Lumberton: The Mayor of Erendale. A nice enough guy. Makes sure his people are well taken care of as long as they work hard. As long as formers are selling their goods and the lumber mill is running. This man is happy.
Mayor Mark Lavander: The Mayor of Tarus. He is also the head Undertaker of the Tarus Funeral Home. This man is always gloomy and serious. Good luck making him laugh....or even crack a smile....it's just not going to happen.....
Mayor Amy Silverstone: The Mayor of Ormere. A kind Woman who DOES care about money and appreciates hard work, but she puts her people first. She believes that a healthy worker is a happy worker, and a happy worker is a hard worker.
Professor Dexter Perry: not only is he the Mayor of Atlas, but he is also the Head Scientist of the Atlas Laboratory. Although some may call him insane. He does care about his people....even if his top priorities are creating and discovering new things.
Mayor Daniel Clark: The Mayor of Luddiville.....He's a nice enough fellow.....as long as you don't bring technology into his Village.....or speak about technology.....or have anything to do with technology....if it's not obvious by now.....he hates technology....
Enemies:
Savages: Hostile Natives who live in the wild. They wear face paint and are always armed with either a spear or a bow. They always view travelers as a threat.
Bandits: These folks are always ready to rob travelers. Some make their hideout inside caves while some have their own camp sites. They are either armed with pistols or knives.
Psychoths: Insane people who are always armed with a weapon or two (usually blades) Most of them are escaped criminals....
Enemy Soldiers: Soldiers from other nations who were sent to attack Premia.
Goblins: Muscular Humanoid creatures with pointy ears. Some are armed with a club....some attack with their bare hands...
Trolls: Giants with pointy ears. They often use a tree trunk as a weapon, but can also fight with their bare hands.
Carnivorous Dinosaurs: T Rex. Raptors. Ect.
Dark Mages
Vampires
Warewolves
Skeleton Warriors
Skeleton Mages
Undead Warriors: You could say they are kinda like Zombies with weapons.
Undead Mages
Hostile Aliens
Enemy Robots
Dragons
Anything else you can think of.
Now to explain how the game works....
Combat styles:
There are two styles of combat. Warrior and Mage. Warriors are better with weapons while Mages are better at using Magic.
Leveling up:
All characters start at level 1. Characters can reach up to level 100. Characters level up by battling enemies. Each time a character levels up, their health and stamina goes up, and you can improve either their Warrior or Magic skills. Keep in mind that you don't have to improve one of these skills as soon as you level up. You can always go back and do it later....and you can't improve a combat skill by leveling up. You also have to have experience in that style of combat. For example. How can your character improve their Magic skills if they never use Magic. You can be both Warrior and Mage but consider the fact that the more you improve one style, the less you can improve the other...so you can completely focus on one, split it up 50/50 or be more of one and a bit less of the other (for example. 80% Warrior. 20% Mage). There are other skills your character can improve (such as cooking) but apart from smithing (you can forge weapons and make them stronger) they play no role in how your character does in combat. Shouldn't need to list them all. Most of them are skills we use in every day life...practice at something..you get better at it (usually). You guys can have fun with that.
Types of Magic (You can use as many types of Magic as you want, but how powerful the spells are depends on the level of your character, and how experienced they are with Magic):
Fire
Water
Lightning
Nature
Ice
Wind
Earth
Blessings (the only type that doesn't do demage to enemies. Blessings are used for stuff like healing and raising stats such as attack and defense)
Curses (mostly used for lowering your enemies stats but some Curses can do demage by doing things such as absorbing your enemies health or even poisoning them. You can also curse weapons to give them bonus effects)
Starter weapons (Keep in mind these are only the starter weapons. There are much more weapons than this. You can end up having as many weapons as you want, but you can only start out with two. You can get more weapons by purchasing them from weapons shops, forging them yourself or stealing them from enemies you defeat. Characters can of course battle with two one handed weapons at the same time....unless a character for some reason only has one arm (which could be possible)
Knives (characters may use them however the handler wants them to. Rather it be for throwing or close up combat)
Bow and Arrows (keep in mind that unlike bullets. arrows are re usable, and they can be poisoned)
Spear
Sword
Ninja Stars
Nunchuck
Bo staff
Big sword (two handed)
War axe (one handed)
Battle axe (two handed)
Pistol
Shot gun
Note: you may also start out with armor and a shied since they are not weapons...although they are obviously not the best armor and shield you can get...
