The fact that I haven't even bothered to create a thing about WWA after all of these years is both a shame and a tragedy but we will rectify that right now.
What is the Women's Wrestling Alliance?
WWA is an angled fed with the premise of focusing on women's wrestling. WWA began in 2014 four months after the closing of Premium Championship Wrestling. The first show took place on February 7th, 2014. The shows have had a mixture of being held in both bigger and smaller venues all across the globe, with its first two years being held in the traditional smaller venues as the company was working its way up with wrestlers who were looking to establish themselves.
WWA IS open to any and all talent levels, although traditionally the company has taken on wrestlers who needed some development and get that one big push to legitimize themselves as stars going forward. Wrestlers such as Mariah Lopez, Reyna Carter, Bella Robinson and Eavan Maloney fit that bill. In the cases of Morgan Simmons, Talia Skye and Crystal Alvarez, established names in the sport do come into the company and cement themselves with hard work and great performances.
Company Type:
Major but sticks to their smaller roots. Starting in 2021 for a variety of reasons, the promotion will stick to the West Coast with a yearly tour in Canada still on the books. With an attempted International tour cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is unclear whether plans for that will come to fruition or not. WWA for the most part tries to be a sports based promotion but we do the occasional goofy stunt as well. We sure as hell are not perfect under any stretch of the imagination nor will we claim to be.
Location of Headquarters:
Los Angeles, California
Network that airs shows:
Premium Television Network (Frenzy/Wildcard), Sky Sports (UK), CTV (Canada)
Championships:
In WWA, we have five sanctioned championships. The top title is the WWA World Championship, the secondary title is the Television Championship that is defended on every WWA broadcast unless stated otherwise. The Tertiary title is the Joshi Championship. For the team portion of championships there is the Tag Team Championship, and the Trios Championship. The latter title being defended in six person tag team matches, or as we like to call them Trios matches as a throwback to Trios divisions in Mexico.
Special Matches:
This is probably an important tidbit but once a year we have War Games takes place, typically in December. We also have the Lethal Cup tournament that starts after the December Wildcard event and concludes at Eve of Destruction. The Lethal Cup is a yearly tradition and the winner of the cup gets a WWA World Championship match at WWA's biggest pay-per-view event of the year, Boom or Bust. We also have the Scars of Wrestling Cup that takes place solely on PPV/Wildcard events. Winning the cups equals championship opportunities in the company at any time of the winner's choosing, there are a certain amount of cups one has to win to get certain title matches.
The shows:
Friday Night Frenzy as well as pay-per-views/Wildcard events air every two weeks. You have three episodes of Friday Night Frenzy in-between every PPV/Wildcard event. We hold four PPV's a year (Eve of Destruction, Boom or Bust, Beach Bash and Halloween Fury) and two free televised Wildcard events per year, one in June and one in December. Think of Wildcard as our version of Clash of the Champions from the old WCW days. Every now and then we will have an additional show posted in the case of The Lethal Cup tournament or other circumstances that have come up but its not a permanent thing.
Things to know from an Out of Character point of view:
This one is going to be important. We do accept all segments, whether written in summary form, traditional or script. The matches themselves will be summarized with the important notes featured while PPV/Wildcard events will be more detailed. This will never change unless WWA ever gets a full staff. Match results and pushes are judged by participation. If you participate, sell your angles, submit segments, all will be taken care of. You don't, you will be forgotten about quickly and will get the boot. It's nothing personal, its just how we operate and I want things to be as organized as possible.
Be advised, the only character that is guaranteed a match every single show is the one who holds the Television Championship due to not having a full staff and the TV Title being defended on basically every show. So if you're not booked and you do want to be featured on the broadcast, gladly send in a segment to hype up your stuff. Generally after the months and months of plans runs out, we try and send out future plans as quickly as possible. If youโre ever confused about anything, please donโt be shy and DM me either on here, or on Twitter at @wwawrestle or @thelethallatina and we'll get these things solved in a timely manner.
Match Writing:
I'm going to say beforehand, match writing will have zero affects on your characters' pushes. Segments and selling does that, but any offer of match writing keeps the workload of myself down, and aids us get shows up on time. If you want to write a match, don't hesitate in sending a message and I'll get you a match to write. Keep pressuring me about the match writing thing as I do limit my activity on social media at times during the week.
Rules (you knew this was coming):
1.) The way to get pushed here is as simple as Apple Pie; consistent storyline building, consistent angles, consistent character development, working with others and consistent participation. Segments are looked on as more favorably as they give the shows a better flow.
2.) If you wish to be involved in current storylines or create your own with someone else, please ASK before doing so. The last thing we want is any type of confusion with the usage of characters or what is going on in the fed. Don't allow it to deter you from participating, we want every single person involved in WWA as much as humanely possible. If there is an issue as it pertains to a matter such as this, don't hesitate in sending a direct message. I want everybody to be on the same page.
3.) I did mention that for the most part, I do pair everybody up for programs and things for the next while. On the chance that I don't hear from you and your character seems to be lost in the shuffle with nothing to do, I'll find something for you. The "creative has nothing for you" trope doesn't apply here. There are times where a few details here and there will be kept secret for surprise value, but that's few and far in-between. If something major is going to happen, you WILL know about that in advance.
4.) Reading the shows fully is a must. Don't just skim or read your match and move on. There's always something going on in the fed, and as the previous rule states, sometimes you will be tossed into a program so you have something to do.
5.) NEVER under any circumstances ask for title opportunities. If you're participating and active in WWA, your character WILL be pushed and I will notify you if your character will be in a title program.
6.) You are going to lose in an angled fed. If you have a problem with a loss or are feeling a bit uneasy about a result, please don't run right to Twitter to complain about it with OOC rants or subliminally throw shots masking OOC as IC. Get in touch with me and I will be more than willing to explain why your character took the L in that certain instance.
7.) There is a roster cap. I will update this with the actual number as I go along and calculate exactly how many characters we have here but when we hit a roster cap, I will be the one to announce such a thing.
8.) SELL YOUR STUFF - I feel like this is self-explanatory but selling is majorly important. It means I know you're still here and like what you are doing.
9.) No Drama - I don't tolerate drama at all. If you have an OOC beef that cannot be handled, bring it to me and I will attempt to solve the issue without incident. If it is a continuous thing after the issue was brought to me and solved, I will take appropriate action when it comes to the situation at hand.
12.) Pic bases and Theme Music - These are first come, first serve. If one vacates a theme/base, you have thirty days to reclaim it, otherwise its lost forever. In the cases of Hall of Famers (we may have spoiled something here), the bases for said Hall of Fame characters will be PERMANENTLY reserved specifically for that character and are not allowed for usage.
13.) Real Life comes first - We realize and know real life comes first, that is always the case with me. Life will ALWAYS be more important than this game we play on the internet, and if things have to be delayed, then so be it. In WWA, we're not going to hold anybody hostage if a real life situation comes to a head, we do this in our spare time. So yes, real life ALWAYS comes first.
14.) Do not mention real life wrestlers (WWE and every real life wrestling company). This is a fictional world, in e-fedding they do not exist.
15.) The most important thing of all is to Have Fun. If youโre not having fun, you probably shouldn't be doing this.
OOC Staff:
Danielle (Head of the Fed) - That's me by the way. But for anything general about the fed, I am the first one to contact. For WWA booking, I am the only one to contact as other staff have no control over that.
James (Second) - He really is a trusted advisor over anything else he does. With his past experience as a fed head, and overall improved perspective on things since he last ran a fed of his own, he is officially my second in command but please don't bother him with general WWA stuff, come straight to me for that.

If it is a continuous thing after the issue was brought to me and solved, I will take appropriate action when it comes to the situation at hand.
10.) No discrimination of any kind. In the previous fed that was hosted on this forum, there was a very laxed environment where stuff of that nature slid through the cracks and was featured on the shows. That does NOT under any circumstance sit well with me and will NOT be tolerated. Whether its racism, homophobia, sexism, religion bashing, it's not going to fly here. We respect everybody of gender, race, nationality, religion and preferences, and while people will no doubt have a difference of opinion, but as long as it is not acted on, then all will be good. If the rule is not followed, we will be having a discussion, I guarantee you that.
11.) Separate OOC from IC - This is a big point. Do NOT hide your OOC intentions as IC actions and don't allow what happens to your character dictate how you treat other players and their characters. The characters are wrestlers saying things to one another, shit is going to be said about your character but remember, the things are said about the character, not YOU as the player. If you can differentiate between the character and the player, you'll be fine. But if you can't, then things will be less than ideal for everybody involved.Do not take what is said in-character personally, its strictly in-character. If you feel unsure or uneasy about something or want to make sure there are guidelines as to what can be said IC, ALWAYS communicate with the other person and get that established. And send me documentation of said boundaries in case things go awry and I have a record of said boundaries.
