Character Info
Full Name: Yukiko Kusanagi
Ring Name: Yukiko Kusnagi
Nickname: The Demolition Angel
Date of Birth: Sept 28, 1993
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 125lbs
Hometown: Dotonbori, Osaka, Japan
Alignment (Face, Heel, Neutral): Neutral, teeters back and forth depending
Entrance Music: “BxMxC” by BABYMETAL
Strengths:
+ Experience: Yuki’s began training at the tender age of 12 years old before debuting at 16 on the local indy circuit in Japan, like many from her country. She “knows the ropes” well and keeps her ring awareness sharp.
+ Energizer Yuki: She pushes herself to her limits in both training and during matches. Her stamina’s and ability to work long lengths is up there with some of the more renowned names, such is the way of most Japanese wrestlers. Their toughness usually means a match under fifteen to twenty minutes is unheard of.
+ Deathmatch Joshi: Yuki’s trainer, her uncle Jubei, taught her as much about the brutal, darker side of wrestling as he did the technical side. This left Yuki with a bit of a sado-masochistic addiction as she loves to inflict pain as well as receive it. When a match turns to the hardcore side, Yuki takes bumps like Oliver Twist takes porridge: “please sir, can I have some more?”
+ Mindfreak: There isn’t much Yuki won’t do to gain an advantage in a match. She’ll taunt them like a deranged psychopath. She’ll lick the blood trail right off of their face. Hell, she’ll lick their face in general if she sees it disturbs them. Yuki likes to get into her opponent’s head and to her, anything goes.
Weaknesses:
- Lonely Warrior: Yuki doesn’t really play well with others. She prefers to go about things alone most of the time unless it’s with a partner she has a higher respect for but mostly this is a big flaw for her. Her lone wolf attitude can end up costing her team the match if she refuses to tag in or even tag out of the match.
- Seeing Red: You wanna piss her off? Goad her into making a mistake? Getting herself DQed? It’s not hard, at all. Yuki can be goaded into leaving herself open via running into a setup or turning her back on her opponent to argue with the referee quite easily. A nearfall can be an easy way to get her up in the referee’s face if she’s convinced it should have been a three. The referee physically trying to remove her from her opponent during a rope break or corner lockup can get her in the official’s face as well.
- Glutton For Punishment: Her Deathmatch Joshi strength is a double edged sword. While it can intimidate some opponents, it may not work on others and Yuki will continue goading them into hitting her to prove her toughness. This can end up rendering her out cold in a puddle of her own blood and open to capitalization.
Short Bio: Yukiko was born to middle class parents, Masahiro and Fumiko, in Dotonbori, Osaka. A twin to her autistic sister, Tsukiko and an older sibling to their brother Yujiro, eleven years her junior. Her interest in combat sports initially came from her father when she would watch boxing and MMA matches with him. Unbeknownst to her, of course, Masahiro was gambling on fighters during these and often not having very good luck which often left them living paycheck to paycheck. She was introduced to wrestling through her mother’s brother, “Mad Dog” Jubei Sanada; a household name in Japan among wrestling fans. There was something about watching the way athletes in puroresu performed that drew Yukiko in, even though her mother was apprehensive when she expressed interest in training.
Fumiko and her brother Ieyasu Sanada were adamantly against either of their children becoming wrestlers specifically due to the reputation that Jubei had garnered on the independent deathmatch scene. It didn’t stop a twelve year old Yukiko from approaching her uncle for training, even offering to pay for lessons with some of her pay from neighborhood work she did. Jubei refused monetary pay and instead had his niece promise her dedication to training. She would clean the mats, sweep the gym floor and act as his assistant during shows (she made sure his gear was washed and ready, etc). In exchange, Jubei trained Yukiko as his next generation successor. She wrestled her first match at just sixteen with Jubei extending her training longer than most puroresu youths, wanting her to perform at her very best. Yukiko garnered a following locally and eventually caught the eye of international scouts in her early twenties where she branched out to North America. She has wrestled in major promotions including New Frontier, WWH’s Sanatorium and her home country’s Yamashi Pro. She remains in New Frontier and also works in Japan’s Joshi Extreme Takeover, as well as Slaughterhouse Wrestling. She’s seen some moderate success in her career but the one known often as the Demolition Angel is still looking for a climb to the top.
Physical Description and Gimmick
Pic Base: Konami (Heel appearance)
Physical Description: Yukiko has naturally black hair but she’s been dying it different colors since her early adolescent years. She currently keeps it silver. Yuki’s physique isn’t particularly defined or toned but her physical activity keeps her lean and in fighting shape with some padded muscle. Her ring gear is as seen in her photo.
Gimmick: A purely unhinged, violent woman with the sharpened training to make her more dangerous than the run of the mill psycho brawler. She’s a psycho that knows how to wrestle on the technical side and she loves getting right into it with opponents. Pure, unbridled violence personified into one woman. She has an arrogant side to her that she sees Japanese above all others, granted a few exceptions have been made. She craves the top spot, top titles and will scrape, claw and maim as necessary as she needs to to get there.

Wrestler Entrance (We copy and paste said entrances to the shows):
BABYMETAL's "BxMxC" comes on over the PA system with its grueling guitar riff and thunderous drums, sending the crowd into a mixed reaction. Some cheer with bloodlust, others boo in disdain. The rest of the lights go out, leaving the audience shrouded in darkness as an eerie purple light illuminates the ring itself. The stage and ramp are lit up with plain white lights, violently flashing in sync with the music. As the music swells, the lights take on a more intense flashing, adding a purple hue among the whites. The crowd waits in anticipation as smoke fills the entryway as the music flows from the speakers, assaulting the ears of those present. The camera focuses intently on the entryway as the inner lights come on and, combined with the smoke, give off an almost ethereal, heavenly appearance. The video wall is alight with the visage of bloody barb wire and the name “草由紀子”.
The wall of light within the entryway is disturbed by the visage of a black silhouette, soon coming into view to reveal Yukiko Kusanagi. Sleeveless robe over her gear, with her hood drawn up over her hood. We see her eyes though are, as always, cold and utterly hateful towards everyone present as they peer out over her black face mask. Her eyes then shift down the ramp and aim directly to the ring. Her battleground. Angel holds her position on the stage throughout the chorus and when the second verse begins, she shifts forward and begins her walk down the ramp. She completely ignores the fans in the front row, throwing jeers and boos at her. That which she sees as nothing more than scum beneath her. Angel moves methodically but with a sense of purpose as she approaches the ring. As she reaches the ring, she circles around to the opposite side of where she approached and stands on the apron, turning her head to sneer towards the fans again. Despite the sour attitude she gives off, she wipes her feet on the apron before entering the ring through the top and middle ropes at the return of the chorus.
Ring Announcer: Making her way to the ring at this time! Weighing in at 125 pounds, from Osaka, Japan! She is the “Demolition Angel”...YUKIKOOOO...KUSAAAAAANAGIIIII!!
As her name is announced, she comes to stand in the center of the ring, continuing to just glare hatefully at any and everyone. One hand comes up to unclasp the buckle on her coat before he peels the hood back and slides the garment off of her body, dropping it to the floor for the ringside attendant to take while she goes to her corner and uses the ropes to get some stretching in. Finally, she turns towards the ramp with that ever hateful expression and calmly waits for the match to begin.
